Jun 2018 - $35.00
Very well maintained with excellent bathroom and shower facilities. I didn't remember seeing there wasn't sewer hook up which disappointed me but it wasn't a problem at all. The restrooms look new and are as clean as we've seen anywhere. The great WiFi made up for no cable, we were able to stream anything we wanted too. All the sites were well kept including full timers which isn't always the case. You're less than a mile from the highway but don't hear it at all even though at night we could hear the ocean breakers more than 2 miles distant. Recommend for anyone who wants peace and quiet along with cleanliness. Oh, don't let me forget the staff is wonderful also. - L and M

It all depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for sites with a view of the lovely Coquille River like the ones portrayed on the campgrounds website, you're going to be sadly disappointed. The campground is very loosely organized. Sites are all back in when with just a little bit of effort they could be angled to provide much nicer views of the adjacent farmlands and marshes. The place is really mainly popular with fisherman. Some of the sites are long term occupied and are somewhat disheveled and unkempt. No dump station or sewer hook ups is a bit of an inconvenience but can be managed. Overall if you can snag one of the full hook up sites across the highway at a nearby park you might be happier. - Desertdogs
Sep 2016 - $30.00
Very clean. Has a really nice area for dogs. Friendly owner and staff. We stay there for 2 months during salmon fishing; no extra charge for boat . Bathrooms are new, heated wonderful hot water. - Travelingcttech

A very decent Oregon state park close to the cute town of Bandon. Three loops with a real mixed bag of sites. For full hookups, loop A is probably your best bet, but be aware that the sites on the inside of the loop are mostly at 90 degrees from the road, while the outside loops are angled for easier back in. Our site, A14 had a really nice, large side yard with no close neighbors and a large rear yard with no neighbors. It's about a 1.5 mile walk to the beach, and while it was okay, it was probably our least favorite beach on the Oregon coast. The good news is the beach is Bandon is absolutely fabulous! We did our daily 4-6 mile beach walk there. Very dog friendly area (including the beach), some good restaurants, and gorgeous beach made this area one of our favorites in Oregon. Unfortunately, the park itself was nothing special. Coos Bay is convenient for any big box store shopping. We had no satellite reception due to tree coverage, nor would most sites, but there were a few RVs with dishes up. Decent AT&T data coverage and okay Verizon coverage. - Jerry and Betsy

Great! Very pretty. Close to Beach loop drive in Bandon. - Leslie Nu
Oct 2018 - $31.00
This is a wonderful campground. There are 3 loops. Loop A has some 30 amp full hook-ups & loop B & C have 30/50 amp. Also many sites with just electric & water. All are back-in. Almost all the sites are in the trees with some having more vegetation for privacy. Also they have an extended area for the picnic table with room to put a tent shelter over the table. Our site had plenty of room for our slide-outs & rug out front but was at the very edge of being too short. Once we were unhitched, we had to park our truck across the front of the site which made it a little difficult to get in & out. On the plus side that gave more privacy. - storms

This park was a great find. It is a hotel dating from the early 1950s with an attached RV area. The new owners, who have had the park for a year, have done a tremendous job fixing it up. There are 8 RV units in the park, but also an area for tent/van camping. The pads are level gravel and have full hook ups for 30amp power, water, and sewer. There are picnic tables and chairs throughout the park for your use. There are two rest rooms that include a toilet, shower, and a washer and dryer. These rooms are accessed with a code. There is WIFI at the park which seems pretty fast, compared to most parks. The park is just back far enough from town, and the coast, that it can be foggy and cold at the cost but pleasant and sunny at the park. Might not be big enough sites for the largest of rigs. There were a couple of dual axle trailers in sites though. Best to call if you are a big rig. Mine is 13' so no problem anywhere. The hosts are great. - DonB

Jul 2017 - $35.00
We were profoundly disappointed in this park. Our site was so small that we felt we were in a storage lot, not an rv park. There was a large fifth-wheel backed up to 15 inches from our back window. We couldn't get out our main door because the steps would run into the sewer vent pipe. Luckily we have a small 2nd door from our bedroom we used. No decent place to walk the dog. We couldn't wait to get out of there. - ricbrybet
Jul 2017 - $15.00
This was our 5th year spending several months at this RV park. Unfortunately and very sad, more permanent tenants are now allowed which has caused a considerable decline in quality and appearance of the park. This fact, along with sites being very tight and difficult, extreme traffic noise and several sites with sewer vent pipes at your door, has warranted the poor rating. The only PRO is the location. - freewheelingRVer
Sep 2016 - $32.00
Second year staying here while passing thru.
Price reflects our 2 week stay.
Managers in office are the best!! Friendly and helpful.
Downside are the sites. If you have slides and the person next door has slides, there will be maybe one foot between you.
Almost no room to park your car in front of your site without hitting the person's car next door.
Suggest you look at Google Earth for this park and see what I mean.
I think we have a foot front and rear of our car before hitting the other person's bumper!
Rigs in the center have a tough time getting into their sites.
Only good thing about this park it is not that long walk to the waterfront.
Don't think we will be back. - Bluebird Bob

Lots of rules, such as must pay for guests (including children even if young). This was waived since mine are 1 and 2 months. No showers, bathrooms or trash after 9 pm. I can see both sides to the rules, they can be a pain when you have to put the kids to be before being able to shower etc.
All in all I like the park, quiet, and close to everything. Perfect for our trip. - Pfmarine1
Sep 2016 - $36.00
Good if only place available. Probably good for fishermen or full timers but we are neither. Girl in office very nice and we got last spot available. Lots of lotta timers here and fishermen. Showers need a good cleaning but we're large. Clubhouse has funny smell. Would only stay here again if nothing else available. - Rpopeye
Aug 2015 - $27.00
So, this park is definitely different. First the good....The front office girl, Manjana was very sweet and helpful. The park had a decent weekly rate, especially for Summer in Oregon, and the sites were quite roomy. They provided picnic tables, and their wi-fi worked ok, some of the time. We backed up to the fence overlooking the Bay, and had a nice grassy area behind us.
Now the not so good. We backed up to the Bay, and there are train tracks behind the park fence. Starting at 6:00 am, every weekday morning we were there, the clashing and screeching of the trains woke us up. It was kind of neat watching it for the first couple hours or so, but it got to be a little deafening after that.
There are a lot of long term residents there, whose sites are pretty messy, with a bunch of toys and junk scattered around.
This park would be ok for a overnight stay, but longer than that, we would find some place else. - Mr&MrsFulltimers

Greeted by the friendly and gracious owner. Sites was a long gravel P-T with sites staggered at an angle that you aren't looking out at the next rig. Very quiet park, day and night! Good hook ups and satellite TV. This park was a delight and we will return. - number one
Aug 2018 - $42.00
No complaints really. Service was good, sites were clean and level. It was quiet and clean. Propane service. Showers/restrooms were great--your own bathroom nice and warm and clean. Only small complaint was that the interior roads were very narrow and had had speed bumps so rough that the 5 MPH posted was a joke. One MPH was more like it and there were plenty. Lots of room to walk dogs and enjoy the outdoors. Our pad had curbs so we had to watch our steps. We'd stay here again. - LeeL
Jul 2018 - $42.00
Easy check in with friendly staff. Great site, level pad, lawn and picnic table. Paved interior road. Close to town and beaches. Met some of the permanent residents, all very friendly, with immaculate sites. Totally enjoyed our stay at this park. - mspepper

If you like camping in the dark woods, this is a good place. County campground with paved interior roads and paved level sites in the trees. Narrow interior roads. Don't recommend long or tall rigs. Very difficult to get into narrow sites with narrow one way roads. Each site separated by tall hedges or forest. No sewer at sites. Both water with 30 amp and dry sites available. Most sites back into forest for camping experience. Very few sites can get satellite signal. Good cell service and OTA. Playground but no rec room and no store of pool or activities. Must drive to beach. Narrow and twisty state roads to get to area from the south. Nice place to camping for a few days, but not so good for RVing. - Pepper Dan
Jun 2017 - $26.00
Mushy from recent downpour. Sat didn't work, but saw neighbors with sat set up. Much more like camping than rving. Excellent beach access to dog friendly beach. 4g in campsite. Will stay again. - diceshooter60
Nov 2016 - $20.00
The actual rate was $20.36 winter rates. The reservation system is off line during the winter except for cabins. This is another you pay for what you get park. The bathrooms and showers were clean. However the showers have some supply issues. I checked 2 different shower rooms and the both had the same problem. Each shower room has 2 showers. One shower has pretty good pressure and the push button stays on about 40 seconds. The other shower has dribble and you have to push the button about every 15 seconds. Most of the loops are in trees with marginal drainage (it rained a lot) with paved pads and some are pretty flat others not so much. Loop D is the loop of choice. It is out of the trees and most of the sites are out in the open the down side is they are not very private. The roads are rough pavement. Verizion MiFi worked fine. Be sure and lock up you cars, RV's doors and compartments. There were at least 3 thefts out of vehicles that were left open when we stayed there. If we're back in the area we'd probably stay here again, reluctantly. - pumper9x9

Off the beaten path, off Hwy 101. Turn left immediately after the bridge: next to the Gift Shop. Funky check-in via the Gift Shop up front. Service was friendly and helpful. Spartan facilities weren't used. Only 2 long-termers in the park. No shade but plenty of fog. Would stay again: especially if cheaper. - cdfdale
Aug 2005 - $16.00
Very nice, spotless, teeny tiny park on the harbor in Charleston-by-the-sea, which is more or less a suburb of Coos Bay. This is a very small park - only 10 sites, sites are small and close together but the park is immaculate with nice landscaping. The owner/managers were some of the friendliest people that we met on this trip. The sites are paved and very level. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. No crappy, rusty looking full time set up's here! There were a couple of fairly large 5th wheel units here, but I don't think that a big Class A would fit. - julievojo

Lots of irresponsible dog owners that allow their dogs to poop wherever and not pick it up. Most of the employees that work here are oblivious to rules. Water leaking from rigs, sewer hoses on the ground and barking dogs but employees never notice unless you complain. Lawn mowed 1 time every 2 weeks. The best thing about this fisherman camp is that the garbage is picked up regularly. - Debbie Lown

Part of the Port complex and operated by the port. Basically a large paved parking lot with RV spaces and hook-ups. Good size sights, excellent WiFi, easy in and out. Able to park truck across one end of space and smart car beside trailer. - Dennis M
Aug 2017 - $38.00
Basically a large parking lot with hookups. Well kept and lots of friendly people catching lots of crab etc. At check in the clerk told us our site was pretty unlevel and that she had other options if it did not work out, so that was nice. We made it work but she was not kidding, in 24' it sloped about 7". The other reviews pretty much cover it, although I would say that many sites do required front to back leveling, not as extreme as ours but be ready. It is too bad that it's not a little better designed, could be more of a destination spot since it is in a great location. The town of Charleston is about the same, lots of potential but just kind of leaves you wanting more. The other beach parks in the area are always full so this is a good option for spur of the moment get aways and I an sure we will be back. We felt safe and comfortable thanks to all the nice folks we encountered so that's a big plus. - RestlessRVrs
