Small park located behind a motel and about 300 yards from the Garibaldi boat ramp. Busy place during spring and fall salmon seasons. Roads and parking areas are graded gravel. Small grass area and picnic table between sites. Bay view sites have a fire bowl. Utilities are convenient and worked well including cable TV. Check-in was quick and no hassle. Dogs are welcome, but there is no off leash area nearby. There is a short asphalt path fronting the park and sidewalks nearby so taking your pup for a walk is convenient. As previously mentioned there is a sawmill nearby. It got a little noisy during the day, but as long as you're inside with door and windows closed its not noticeable. Quieter at night. Not a deal breaker for us and we will stay again. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Garibaldi is a nice coastal town with lots of shops and restaurants. Crabbing is available year around with several nearby opportunities to rent gear including the Garibaldi Marina, which also rents boats. Spring salmon season is May - June and the fall season is September - November. Lots of quality local guides available.

We were on site #27 which was a water view lot. The park is on Tillamook Bay, which is just off the Pacific Ocean. Garibaldi,Oregon is a quaint, small fishing village. The park was well taken care of and modern. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

You would think for almost 400 a week, there would be usable internet. We couldn't connect the entire week we were here, and yes, I asked the office to check on it. Maneuvering a big rig through here is a little tight. My biggest peeve in the " harbor front " sites. They are supposed to be pull in. There are many travel trailers and 5th wheels that stay for the entire summer in those spots, so pulling in, our neighbors had set up camp in what was supposed to be our patio area. Worst part is they had 2 huge dogs that were always by us, and barked constantly, anytime someone walked by. The location is excellent, and there is alot to do in the area, but some less expensive, quieter options are just down the road. This is our 3rd, and last time here. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a parking lot at the harbor with gravel and a patch of grass. There is also a hotel on this property. The resort texted and emailed me several times on the day of arrival to let me know they were closing at 6pm. We arrived before 6pm and the gal checking us in was very abrupt. I told her my name and she just asked for my credit card, waived towards the site and that was it. No info provided about local activities. Site was very exposed - no privacy. No fire pit. They do rent crab traps for only $5 per day which was a good deal. They have a "crab shack" on site where you can cook large amount of crabs. Clean showers and laundry. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Located right near the harbor in the fishing village of Garibaldi, it's a relatively small RV park with just 30 sites. Sites 23-30 offer a direct view of the bay (and have a higher rate, too). During the height of the fishing season, the area is a frenzy of organized activity with boat after boat after boat being launched from the four boat ramps into the bay. On a recent Saturday morning, I counted over 250 empty boat trailers attached to vehicles in the parking lots. The sites are all gravel with a patch of grass and a picnic table. It's an older park, not necessarily designed for big rigs, but it is do-able. Our 38-ft 5th wheel fit into the site, but there was no room for the tow vehicle. Note, too that sites 3-10 are designated as pull-thoughs (which they are), but leaving the site necessitates driving over the curb into the street. The park is neat, well kept and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Others have mentioned the noise from the sawmill just down the road, but our site #4 was at the opposite end of the park from the sawmill and noise was not a problem. Laundry and shower room was neat and clean, although there are just two washers and dryers. All in all, Harborview is a fun little RV park and we'd stay here again. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Fishing, of course is the prime activity. Several charter boat options available, as well as several restaurants within easy walking distance. The world famous Tillamook Cheese factory is 8-10 miles down Hwy 101 and is a fun tour.

We were elated when we saw our assigned site of 30, which was bay front, on the end, long, wide, spacious and private with a very tall privacy hedge on our curbside with the picnic table. We stayed Thursday-Monday, which was fortunate timing as the Sawmill was in full mode on Th and Fr just across the nice tall hedge from us! Too loud to hear yourself speak for about 10 hours a day except Sat & Sun. Beautiful setting, but a bit windy at times and cold. Crab baskets available for rent and docks to crab from. A restaurant within walking distance. Laundry was small but very clean. Crab boiling facilities were provided for any catches you had which was a nice touch and a Smores Sat evening gathering was provided by the "Inn". (Which I have to agree w/ previous poster is just a small remodeled 60's style motel). Another big problem was the path thru our site which seemed to have been deemed public. A Sign needs to be put up to remind inconsiderate folks of common courtesy. I would stay again, but would choose the opposite end from the saw mill and would want a bay site for sure! We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Staff was very helpful with info for fishing, crabbing, clamming, etc. They rented rakes, baskets, sold bait and were very nice. The restaurant at the harbor was not one I would choose to return, but would do if it was the only choice.

The Harborville Inn is not an inn, but a very ordinary motel with a campground behind and next to it. They called our site a "pull in" site which means it is for a motor home and all the hook ups as pm the wrong side for a trailer. The RV park is on a peninsula on a bay off the ocean. Good location, ordinary otherwise and a pain to get to hookups. "Pull-in" is the kind of advertising that turns off people. Site was level and gravel. There was some grass between sites, but a lot was dead. Since next to us was a truck camper that pulled straight in, they took the picnic table and most of the space between us. It went with their space, so it was not their fault we had to come and go next to their turf. There were a few real pull throughs, but they were already taken. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Marina just next door. Short walk to restaurants etc. Not much to Garibaldi but lots to explore both north and south.

Did the Three Capes Scenic Drive to see lighthouse and lots of great beaches.

Stop in Oceanside and eat at Rosanne's. It's overlooking the beach and good food.

Stayed in a site by the bay but wasn't aware site was designed for pull-in motor home so we had to buy extension hose for our sewer. WiFi signal was weak at our site, so had to go to office area to get on the Internet. Adequate space between sites but roads are small and it can be tight maneuvering a large rig. Private showers and laundry area were the cleanest I've ever seen. Staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our week at Harborview. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Garibaldi is a tiny town, almost more of a fishing village so don't go expecting a big city. The views, the facilities and the surroundings are perfect though. The RV park in connected to a hotel that they also run. This allows for some very nice features like a great lobby with lots of space for a get together, linen service so that when you use the showers, you get a clean bath mat each time and hospitality minded staff to help you when you need it. The space we stayed in was plenty big for our 36 ft motor home and easy to get in to. We have pretty low clearance so we were happy that space 9 didn't have a curb in front of it like some of the other pull through spots, otherwise we might have had to back out instead. We had a small grassy area with a picnic table which was plenty of space for us. We also took advantage of a shared area with grass, some bushes surrounding it for some privacy and a couple very comfy adirondack chairs. We walked into town for great food at the bakery, saw the train station which was cute and got fresh crab and yummy clam, fish and chips at a local restaurant. The park is located right on the bay so the views cannot be beat. Sunsets were peaceful and the breeze and beach sounds were pleasant and relaxing. There is a Coast Guard base steps away, it was interesting to watch the activity around the base, who needs tv? We will return here and hope to get a bayfront spot with a fire pit next time. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The RV Park is small and situated on the bay with beautiful views. There are only a few sites that are waterfront but well worth it if you can get one. You are within walking distance of town and the marina. The showers and bathrooms are individual and one of nicest we've ever used. This campground is next to a working saw mill but our site was on the opposite end away from the mill so the noise was less and didn't bother us at all. Very nice location easy to find and enough room between rigs so we could enjoy our stay. Walked the dog down to the water and he loved every minute. I would give this a higher rating if the WiFi didn't keep dropping us off. But we would stay here again. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Basic park affiliated with a motel. Excellent water front views with pulling hookups for easy access. Several types of sites with some pull through. Easy access from the highway with good interior roads. Hookups worked well and the internet was excellent (more than 5 mps). No trees so satellite access was good. Some noise from local business and busy harbor parking lot. This was the newest and most modern CG in the area. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here two nights. We were in a site overlooking the bay, located in a harbor area. The campsite was level, gravel, with good hookups. The fellow who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The park is good for a stop-over stay, but the town was pretty sleepy looking and more than a short walk from the campground. The weather was windy with showers, the wind interfering with our large dish for TV. I used the laundry facility and it was clean and worked well. We walked over to a harbor restaurant and had good burgers and clam chowder. The burgers were quite good, surprisingly. If the weather would have been better, we may have tried walking into town, but it was Easter Sunday so we expected that it would be chancy finding anything open.
For a one-night stay, it wouldn't be disappointing, but a resort is stretching the meaning of the term. We have been spoiled on this trip. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.
