1 RV Park near Juntura, Oregon
Aug 2019 - $46.00
This campground was handy and that's about all I can say about it. Grass sites. Very small but adequate for one night. One ladies restroom and shower and one for men. There appears to be several permanent trailers on the grounds. It was the only choice within 100 miles. Cafe food was outstanding! We came in late and left early. - Nita C

"Trailer Park, Overniters Welcome." It's really a hole in the wall, and a lot of people would take one look and keep driving. But I have to say the grass pull-thru sites were level with FHU and the sketchy electric setup tested out fine with my EMS. Oh, and there is nothing else around for 100 miles either direction. $28 was high for what's there but it worked for us for a stopover between Craters of the Moon and Crater Lake. Residents were quiet in the evening and morning too. There are no amenities to speak of. - MNroadie

This is an older RV park. It is part of a business that includes a restaurant, gift shop and motel. The restaurant has excellent food and all are family-run. The town is so small that you could practically blink and pass it without seeing it. Nice people. It is on Highway 20 between Burns and Vale, Oregon. The restaurant is a popular stop for truckers. The RV park was a welcome sight after a long, but beautiful drive from Vale.
The campground itself is small. The access road is primarily one "horseshoe" gravel road with campsites on both sides. The campsites are grassy and kept well-watered. the sites are mainly back-in with some pull-throughs. There is a shower but it is hard to find as it was not clearly marked. Tall trees surround the perimeter of the property.
The electrical hookups (30 amp) appeared dated, but they worked. The sewer connections are "T" shaped with several outlets. There were no amenities to speak such as a dog run, Wi-Fi or playground. I was unable to get cell service in the area. The campground was quiet at night despite being next to the highway. The green grass made the campground attractive.
This is a good campground for an overnight stay. - ArmandV
