We found this little gem last summer when we had to get out of the smoke from the valley. We loved it so much we booked for a longer time this August. (no smoke!) The owners are wonderful hosts who are always there to help and make your stay more comfortable. It is a safe, clean and beautiful little campground and only a 5 minute drive to the beach. We highly recommend this gem. - KimGabe
Aug 2019 - $38.00
This spotless campground with spotless bathrooms and showers was one of our greatest finds. The hosts are great. A little bit of Heaven...Quiet and friendly! Will be back! - Roy Bear
Aug 2019 - $25.00
Great hosts. Every thing explained thoroughly. We'll kept grounds and spotless bathrooms/showers really enjoyed our stay. - Stan Schierman
Jul 2017 - $35.00
We were profoundly disappointed in this park. Our site was so small that we felt we were in a storage lot, not an rv park. There was a large fifth-wheel backed up to 15 inches from our back window. We couldn't get out our main door because the steps would run into the sewer vent pipe. Luckily we have a small 2nd door from our bedroom we used. No decent place to walk the dog. We couldn't wait to get out of there. - ricbrybet
Jul 2017 - $15.00
This was our 5th year spending several months at this RV park. Unfortunately and very sad, more permanent tenants are now allowed which has caused a considerable decline in quality and appearance of the park. This fact, along with sites being very tight and difficult, extreme traffic noise and several sites with sewer vent pipes at your door, has warranted the poor rating. The only PRO is the location. - freewheelingRVer
Sep 2016 - $32.00
Second year staying here while passing thru.
Price reflects our 2 week stay.
Managers in office are the best!! Friendly and helpful.
Downside are the sites. If you have slides and the person next door has slides, there will be maybe one foot between you.
Almost no room to park your car in front of your site without hitting the person's car next door.
Suggest you look at Google Earth for this park and see what I mean.
I think we have a foot front and rear of our car before hitting the other person's bumper!
Rigs in the center have a tough time getting into their sites.
Only good thing about this park it is not that long walk to the waterfront.
Don't think we will be back. - Bluebird Bob

After a thorough check in briefing we pulled into an easy straight pull through site (19) with FHUs. This was a small quiet campground right off of OR 101. There seemed to be mostly retired couples staying for the season and passing through. There were 20 sites with sites 1-8 back ins that have full timers or seasonal RVs with the rest of the sites being pull throughs. Since we were there for 2 weeks over 4th of July, the park was full. There are lots of rules for this CG so ensure you read them as the rules are enforced, especially the 5 MPH speed limit. The current owners have been here for four years and have made some upgrades to the park as it is well kept. We found it interesting that they brought us a cable box that fits into the electrical post and give you a remote to access the 84 channels, which worked great during our stay. We did experience some road noise off 101 but that was expected. Water pressure can run a little low but overall satisfactory. They had a small dog park type area. Overall, the Robbins Nest was a great base camp to enjoy all the activities that this part of the Southern Oregon Coast has to offer. We will definitely stay here again when we make it back to the area. - MK_Willi
May 2019 - $42.00
Very nice campground. Very easy access from RT 101. Very long and level sites, plenty of room for our 38 ft. MH plus toad. Sites are a bit close together but offered enough room for the picnic table and fire ring. We were there to visit the coast not hangout at the campground. Campground was very close to the coast and places we wanted to visit. Campground owners were very helpful pointing out the best places to visit and how to access local beaches. We would definitely stay here again. WiFi was terrific and free! - ChuckQ
Nov 2018 - $13.00
Rate is based on month's stay. Our preferred place to stay when visiting the Bandon Area. Easy access to Highway 101 and close to Bandon and seaside parks. Level gravel sites are extra long; although sites are fairly close, the length allows rigs to be staggered for extra room. Without doubt the best park internet we've ever experienced. No obstructions to TV satellites, little OTA, and digital cable kits available on request. Verizon cell/data were strong. Some long-term residents, but their sites are well maintained. This isn't a resort, just a safe, reasonable, and comfortable place to stay. The owners are attentive and helpful; as one other Rver said "it's like camping in a friend's back yard". We'll stay here again. - Meanderman
Aug 2019 - $42.00
Very narrow spaces, my 43ft motorhome would not fit, could not extend slides. Not big rig friendly and all other campers were smaller fifth wheels. Very nice lady at check in, just not big rig friendly. - Happy Camper KKJJ 2019
Jul 2019 - $42.00
This is our favorite RV park on the southern OR coast & have stayed here a number of times. We very much appreciate how quiet this park is. The very wide sites have a very level concrete pad to park on with a picnic table & plenty of grass. The speed bumps are a bit harsh requiring pretty much a halt at each one. The office staff has always been the best that we have seen on the many parks that we have visited. Bathroom/showers are private & very clean. They have a very large open grassy area for kids to have a great time. The park has many full timers that have well kept RVs & sites. - Brad M
Jun 2019 - $35.00
Stayed for a week - our first visit here. Park is older but well-kept. QUIET!!! A combination of full-time, seasonal, and vacationers. All sites are clean and neat. Residents were either very friendly or kept to themselves. We were in a pull-thru that was long enough that we had plenty of parking room. Pad surface is concrete with grass all around. Power pedestal was mounted low so we were not able to use our surge protector. Interior roads are mostly paved with a few gravel. Utilities were positioned well and worked well. only issue was that the electric pedestal is so low to the ground that we could not use our Progressive surge protector. Wifi was mostly good, although it slowed down at night when everyone started streaming. Multiple bathrooms and laundry rooms - all clean. Excellent AT&T cell service - there is a cell tower on the property. not many tall trees, so good satellite access. Office folks were friendly and helpful. The park is 3 miles south of Bandon. Easy access to town or drives to the north and south. Beaches are a 5 minute drive. No dog park/run. We REALLY enjoyed our time here and will definitely return if in the area. - William Metcalf
Jun 2018 - $35.00
Very well maintained with excellent bathroom and shower facilities. I didn't remember seeing there wasn't sewer hook up which disappointed me but it wasn't a problem at all. The restrooms look new and are as clean as we've seen anywhere. The great WiFi made up for no cable, we were able to stream anything we wanted too. All the sites were well kept including full timers which isn't always the case. You're less than a mile from the highway but don't hear it at all even though at night we could hear the ocean breakers more than 2 miles distant. Recommend for anyone who wants peace and quiet along with cleanliness. Oh, don't let me forget the staff is wonderful also. - L and M
Sep 2017 - $27.00
It all depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for sites with a view of the lovely Coquille River like the ones portrayed on the campgrounds website, you're going to be sadly disappointed. The campground is very loosely organized. Sites are all back in when with just a little bit of effort they could be angled to provide much nicer views of the adjacent farmlands and marshes. The place is really mainly popular with fisherman. Some of the sites are long term occupied and are somewhat disheveled and unkempt. No dump station or sewer hook ups is a bit of an inconvenience but can be managed. Overall if you can snag one of the full hook up sites across the highway at a nearby park you might be happier. - Desertdogs
Sep 2016 - $30.00
Very clean. Has a really nice area for dogs. Friendly owner and staff. We stay there for 2 months during salmon fishing; no extra charge for boat . Bathrooms are new, heated wonderful hot water. - Travelingcttech
May 2019 - $42.00
My new favorite commercial RV park in Oregon. The address is actually in a very tiny town along the Coquille River on Highway 42 named Remote. It's about halfway between Coos Bay and Roseburg. Immaculate well maintained campground with very nice owners. Big open covered common area with sinks, BBQ, TV, fireplace, and tables. Very nice cabins available too. Also a small store and a converted garage into a pool room. Stairs that go down to the Coquille river for fishing or even sit in a deep pool. Very large lawn area away from campers that the owner let us run our dogs. - hhendrix
Sep 2019 - $35.00
Love Oregon State Campgrounds! Always well maintained and very friendly staff. Stayed in Section A this time really nice site, just water and electric. Was able to set up satellite here and great cell service. There were even some wild turkeys that visited every few nights! Will stay here again. Only one thing to know is that the parks are very popular and you need to get a site well in advance. Stayed here in a travel trailer. - 2hapicampers
Jul 2019 - $39.00
Nice park close to Bandon. The only negative is that some of the sites back up to a major hwy so there is some road noise. - airdef5
Jun 2019 - $29.00
1+ mile walk to the beach on a nice trail. Lots of friendly dogs. Ranger talk 5 nights a week. Many sites have sewer available, and there is a dump station. - Mr Foon
Jun 2017 - $32.00
Stay as far away from this park as you can! The manager is rude and unhelpful, and does not care about his guests. We were planning on staying longer, but left after our first night. The facilities are run down, overflowing clogged toilet..one shower with cold water only. The "gym" and "game room" were locked the entire time, however we were told we had access to all the amenities? Grass desperately needed mowing and most spots appeared to be flooded. What a mess, so gross, we will never return here! - Matt Anderson
Feb 2017 - $32.00
Stayed one night in swamp like conditions, had a large pool of water outside our door. Park was nearly full and only had one working shower for men. Wi fi was terrible and cable tv was ok but not a very good channel selection, laundry not adequate. If you have a pet, you will be made to feel unwelcome by Manager. Just seems like Management don't care a great deal about providing good services to it's residents/customers. We will never stay here again and will advise others to stay away from this park. - Unhappy_Camper56
Nov 2016 - $30.00
Facility was fine. We planned on all winter. Lots of long term and permanent residents. Close to beach and town. Location is good, but in heavy rain watch for high water on roads. Our neighbor's dog attacked ours. We complained after the third attack. Managers talked to neighbor and he became aggressive, volatile and wanted to get physical. We packed up and left and won't ever go back. - Ken Camp
