Aug 2018 - $1.00
This is a good Thousand Trails park although the sites are on the small side and could use some gravel or grass to cover the dirt. There are a lot of activities here for guests to participate in like ice cream socials, breakfasts, BBQs, etc. In addition, access to the beach across the road is easy. There's a fenced in dog park for our furry friends, too. Laundry facilities are good and machines are new. The rangers at the gate keep track of which sites are empty and can give you suggestions for where your rig will fit and where you can get satellite reception. This is another campground with sites on two sides of the road, so you may want to check out both sides before you choose a site. Clubhouses are well maintained and not worn and tired. The big problem here is Verizon internet service. It is non-existent. You can purchase internet from the office, but may have to go to one of the clubhouses to use it. You can also purchase cable TV if you can't get satellite TV in your site. Another negative was that the hot tub was not working the entire week we were there and had been closed for over a week before we arrived. - Bobbi1948
Jul 2018 - $1.00
Many potholes need to be filled from gravel pile right on location. Sites need trimming to avoid rubbing on side of rv and for maybe improved Sat reception from roof. Tight back in sites with trees on sides of road. Meals are good bbq & breakfast on weekends. Movie rental selection is very good and cheap at $1. Nice camp store. Pool table in adult lodge needs some work. - rvreviews
Jul 2018 - $10.00
Dirty and dusty, very tight spaces. Trim a few trees and pave the road to keep the dust down and this would be a good park because of proximity to Newport and the ocean beaches. We were fortunate to be able to move to a more open site after the first night. - mspepper

Jul 2018 - $34.00
This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Beautiful trees and generous sites. We were in the B loop which is serviced including cable and is a short walk to the beach. This park is in a great area near Newport and Nye Beach. Many many things to do in the area. Note: My Verizon service was pretty much nonexistent but AT&T worked well. - Jhiggins
Jun 2018 - $36.00
This is a large park with a combo of Full hook-up, Electric & Water, and no hook-up sites. There is direct, easy access to the beach from the campground via walking paths that lead under Hwy 101 with no dunes to climb. However, the campground runs from East to West and it is a pretty long walk to get to the beach from the most Easterly section of the park which is the newer section. The restroom/shower room in that section is brighter and more modern than the ones in the older section. We were near the front of the camp and used the shower room in D Loop. It is older, but adequate. The stalls are small but the water was hot and pressure was good. Most of the sites are heavily wooded so solar power would be sketchy and satellite probably wouldn't work either. If TV is important to you, though, some sites offer cable. Didn't try it so can't comment. Little to no data service and only spotty cellphone service was available on either Verizon or T-Mobile. There is also a nice nature trail through the woods around the campground. We've been to Beverly many times over the years and will probably come again primarily for the access to the beach. - Pdxjoanne
May 2018 - $34.00
Very quiet campground. Easy beach access and a nice nature trail. Was able to check in when we arrived at 1 PM even though official time was 4 PM. Some spotty T-Mobile coverage near the beach, No Service in F loop. Several OTA channels available but CBS was not consistent in F loop Had some issues with my power surge suppressor, it shutoff at least thee times per day on reverse polarity. The camp host indicated electrical work was being done in the park for water treatment upgrades so that might have been the cause. Will be back! - tfemaker

This is a good place to use as a base when exploring Newport and the surrounding area. Park is paved throughout. Sites are level and close together with some grass and shrubs between sites. During our stay in November, there were many empty sites. Laundry facility was very clean ($2.00 wash/$2.00 dry). You'll need the code for access after the office closes. Park is quiet, clean, and well maintained by Port staff; only a few seasonal RVs are in the park at this time. There is a small book exchange and lots of tourism information in the office. Verizon cell and MIFI have strong signals. - DiplomatTraveler
Oct 2018 - $50.00
Overnight stay to visit Rogue brewery next door. Spacious spacious. Very quiet. Services fine. Wifi weak even close to the office. - Tonyl
Aug 2018 - $42.00
A nice park and convenient to town. The park is well maintained and clean. Many seasonal campers but sites all kept clean. Sites are close and no picnic table or fire pit. Wifi was ok most of the time. Verizon was strong. Our opinion is this is the best rv park in town. - Windshift

Stayed here numerous times. 5 star resort right on the ocean with a "private" beach. Stay in the upper section to see the ocean and have bigger spots. The big news is the resort now has great wifi. - clint77
Jul 2018 - $70.00
We've stayed here several times before and, while not a great value, it is predictably well-maintained, and reservations are mostly automated. We opted for a back-in site in the "low rent" district. Since this park was designed as an ownership resort for large Class A rigs, interior roads are all paved, and sites are all solid surfaces (various textures and treatments). Backing in was easy in spite of some junk, er, decorations, that the site owners placed right at the corner of the pavement. Utilities are well placed and working well. With the rig parked to allow access to the utilities, parking for the toad on the other side was very tight. Since all the sites are open, we had a strong DirecTV signal. VZW and Sprint were good, but Park Wi-Fi was very weak. - RvTravelerNTechie
Jul 2018 - $70.00
Beautiful RV resort located on a bluff above the ocean and on the west side of hwy 101. Check-in was easy with escort to site. All sites are back-in, paved, long, extra wide, FHU, and open. Interior roads are also paved and wide enough for easy navigation. There are two pools with clean and modern bathrooms and laundry rooms. There is a gorgeous ocean view from the front sites but there is less wind and it is quieter at the lower sites. This is an ownership park so the amenities and landscaping vary from site to site. There is a trail to the huge, uncrowded, and dog friendly beach. There is also a fenced dog park and green space for walking a large dog. - JoyceM

Multiple loops in this state park, with a real mix of big rig friendly spots. We prefer the F or G loops for the larger sites, although if you don't mind the constant traffic, the sites along the main road are easier to get into with some having decent sized back yards. Outside loop sites are easier to back into with the angled drives, inside loop sites are mostly close to 90 degrees from the road. No matter which site, there are several low/close trees to watch out for, and unfortunately, we saw a couple of RVers hit trees/branches. Pruning of branches may be required to back in, or put slides out, just don't let the host see you. Still, this is a great park with easy access to the dog friendly beach, a few miles of walking/biking trails, and close to Newport with some great restaurants and good grocery stores. There was a heavy rain the night before we arrived, so our reserved site was flooded. Fortunately, we were able to move to F25 which was a lovely, large corner spot. The site we had reserved did drain by the next day, so drainage appears to be decent. We were able to get satellite reception from F25, but don't count on it due to heavy tree coverage. Verizon and AT&T were usable. - Jerry and Betsy
Aug 2018 - $31.00
Very big, very busy campground - seems to be popular with large groups (mostly family and/or friends). Our site was right across from the hospitality center, so we especially noticed just how busy it was there! Some sites shaded, some not, none in deep shade - trees are largely shore pines, which offer little privacy. Great park for bicycles - extensive bike trails, plus all the campground roads themselves, and they rent bikes at the hospitality center (near entrance to campground). Lots of yurts, which were all full during our stay. (As was the campground itself.) Lots of park hosts in residence, who we found friendly & helpful. Because of the busy-ness and all the groups, though, we might choose a different location if we visit Newport again. Good location for visiting Newport and the stretch of the coast from Newport down to Florence or so, though. Bathrooms were kept as clean as possible, but were always busy. "Air showers" but had regular faucet handles, and there was plenty of hot water. - PokyRVer
Jul 2018 - $35.00
This is a great park! Pros: The pads are asphalt, and the sites large and grassy. It is a short walk on paved or sandy trails to reach the beautiful long sandy beach or you can drive to beach at the day-use area. At the center of each loop is a large grassy area that kids love to play in with the friends they make at the park. There are miles of paved trails including one that takes you into the south end of Newport - great for walking or biking. At the Hospitality Center, you can rent bikes for $10.00 a day. Morning coffee (and sometimes donuts) is provided at no charge. There is a disc golf course and loaner frisbees are available at not charge from the Hospitality Center as well. While there is no wi-fi at campsites, there is a good signal and comfortable chairs for web-surfing at the The park is well maintained. The park is clean and well maintained. Cons: The only con I can think of is that there is no wi-fi at campsites but there is a good signal and comfortable chairs for web-surfing at the Hospitality Center as well. - Coachella

This park from the road is nice looking, but once hooked up you discover it isn't. Internet that doesn't work, cable that doesn't work. Power and water OK. Sewer connection was below ground level and I had to put a paving stone on to keep it hooked up. People are nice but if you do not have satellite there is no TV. Even with our antenna we got nothing. If you want to fish or crab it may be for you, just not me. - averybound
May 2017 - $40.00
We camped here many years ago. I read the online reviews and wondered what happened to the place. OK, it is a gravel lot that backs up to the bay. Other users said units were run down. I experienced just the opposite. We were in space 4. The first space was a newer Jayco trailer. Then 2 very new 5th wheels with slides. Our 2002. 2 late 90's motorhomes then 2 more newer 5th wheels with at least 1 slide. I didn't venture further than that but needless to say the campers there weren't run down. Read a review that said that sewage was discharged on the gravel. No, there are sewage, TV, electrical, and water hook ups. The owners/employees were very nice and helpful. Yes, it is a gravel lot. If you want a paved lot, stay in town at the Yaquina Bay RV park where it is entirely paved. The bar across the street is popular with the locals. It is a nice quiet getaway. - Twood

Aug 2017 - $20.00
We stayed here at a monthly rate that worked out to $20.00 per night. We really enjoyed our stay here and have all ready booked a month here for next year. The staff here were very helpful and friendly. Everyone we dealt with went way above and beyond. We really can't say enough good things about the people at this campground! This is an older RV park so some big rigs will have trouble maneuvering but the staff was always available to help guide them in and out when necessary or requested. Lots of trees here so satellite TV access is site dependent. The park has cable TV that requires a converter box that was given to us when we checked in. Make sure to return it when you leave. The wifi here was amazingly fast! We used it instead of our Verizon service - that's how fast it was. The park is in a great location at the eastern edge of the Bayfront area. You can walk to the attractions from there in about 10 minutes. - roka
Apr 2017 - $40.00
This park is very disorganized and run down. We wanted to pay via cash and were told that it was problematic because the previous owners burned relations with all the local banks and the new owners needed to open an account in Portland. Cash wouldn't work because they needed to get a cashiers check and deposit remotely. Weird. Spaces are extremely small and your neighbors dump is located on your side-yard and next to your picnic table. Gross! We have a travel trailer so we can have the amenity of tv with cable. Be prepared, if you want to use the park's cable, you are told to call the cable company and set up the black box (they provided) and assign the box to the space. We were willing to deal with calling and take time out of our vaction to set up THIER cable box, but none of the boxes matched the sites. We spent over 2 hours on the phone with the cable company trying to assign the cable box to our site. We were told by an older lady in the rv office that if we couldn't figure out how to set up the cable we were out of luck. We asked for a discount and didn't receive one. They are closed on Sunday. This is NOT a park for kids. Dirty and unkept bathrooms. Never going back. $40 per night. Basically, a low class"trailer park". - wysiwyg

We started staying here in August and it was well kept but now they are letting in people with No jobs and allowing people to put tarps over their trailers and fifth wheels and it makes the park look very run down and their adding spaces just to make more money where spaces don't fit. Think twice before you make a reservation!!!! - Beachwood

Older park with many full timers. Street noise was, at times, a problem. This place needs an up grade. For the money they could have done better. I cannot not recommend this place. - JC69

Zero privacy. So close together you share a panic table. Left without even hooking up. Not close to the ocean, unless you risk your life crossing Hwy 101.

Oct 2018 - $38.00
This a busy campground and worth a stay if you can get an oceanside site. If these sites are reserved and apparently they usually are, you are put in shady hollow or by the highway. We nicknamed our location shady hollow because even though the sun was out, we didn't get any benefit from it due to the overhanging trees and hill behind us. When we asked if we could move we were told that it was against campground policy to relocate campers once they had been allocated a site. The other issue was lack of Internet. At checkin we were given a one page sheet headed up WE HAVE FREE WIFI. The first half of the page contained instructions on how to get onto the Internet, the second half set out the various reasons why you might not be able to get onto the Internet. Needless to say we were unable to get onto the internet. Having said all that, the campground is in great location overlooking the ocean and it is close to Depoe Bay for whale watching. - sandgropers

This my second stay and I just love this park. The view of the ocean and ease of getting to the beach is awesome. All the hookups are new and convenient. Each site is clean and neat upon arrival and the maintenance personnel constantly sweep and clean the roads. - MJHP*28

Nice, friendly, helpful managers. Too close to highway, so had to use ear plugs. Small space. Rocky pad. Dump station but not easy to use, so we didn't. River was peaceful with wildlife. Really set up for fishermen. Spots on river were nicer but still too close together. Wanted to stay at another RV park nearby with larger site, but they have strict no refund policy and wouldn't refund, even though I made reservation same day. - Daisy B
Aug 2017 - $40.00
We were there the whole month of August. The second day we were there I asked the handy man what day he did yard work; he told me when he feels like it. NEVER did it Once!! We had weeds and dog poop in our camp that we had to clean up!! I bought a weed eater just to clean up. Their restrooms and showers are disgusting and open to the public, NO privacy or security. There are NO locks on the bathroom doors or showers Anyone can walk in. The new owners are interested in 1 thing - MONEY!!!!!!! They could care less about being pleasant, kind, or friendly and the people who stay there for months have the same attitude. During the whole month we tried to start conversations with a lot of people and all we got was silence and have them look the other way. Unless you're friends with the owners or the long terms you are NOT welcome. NO cell service, NO wi-fi and the sewer kept backing up. - Beachwood
Aug 2016 - $37.00
The entrance to the park is a steep driveway compared to most, but very doable. The first sites are a little rough and look like permanent residents. There is a row of sites that are along the river and basically quite nice.
Not much here. 10 miles north to Lincoln City or 10 miles south to Depoe Bay. No wifi and cable is poor quality. The maintenance guy was very helpful. Propane was $2.70 gal.
We saw lots of herons on the docks and an occasional seal swimming in the river raising havoc with the fishermen.
Looking for a rustic park on the river, this is that. - Alpenlite35RK
