Sep 2015 - $22.00
Could be nice when, and if, the water level ever gets higher. Lake at 22% of capacity. Flies made sitting out untenable. Maybe earlier in the year would be better. The road getting in was an adventure for our 35 ft motor home. Very narrow, curvy and full of blind turns. Surrounding area is quite beautiful and rugged. Given all that, would definitely return. - Marv and Chris
Oct 2010 - $16.00
This park is much improved since last postings. There is no longer a store. Bring it with you. Park is well taken care of by rangers. In season there is a camp host. We've seen some pretty large RVs there, but the road in is quite a ride. It is paved all the way, but there is a steep grade up to the dam and some pretty sharp turns. Also, one must keep an eye out for rocks on the road. Park is nice grass, lots of shade, paved sites with picnic table and fire pit. Some sites can now be reserved. - leonardw
May 2006 - $11.00
This was a disappointing campground. The road in is treacherous. I was following my hubby who was driving a 37' MH. The road has two switchbacks that caused the back tires on the right to go OFF the road! Otherwise the road is narrow and curvy. It's not a road a large wide MH should be on. We called them before traveling and they said it would be no problem. They are WRONG! We stayed at the Indian Creek Campground. Dogs were allowed to run free. Children were not respectful of other's campsites nor property. Children that were underaged and not wearing helmets were riding 4 wheelers around the campground: on lawns, etc., and spewed dirt and gravel onto our pickup and boat. The store was not open during the hours they stated. The sign said "back in 5 minutes," was gone 1/2 hour. There were no garbage cans for us to use and only one bathroom that was hoarded by day users. This state campground is contracted out for the care and upkeep. For a state campground it is one of the worst we've been in. We will NOT be going back. - BDShultz

Jun 2017 - $10.00
If you are looking for a great deal you can camp here for free or if you want hookups it costs just $10 for electric or $15 for full hookups. No dump station is available. This is not a destination campground but a nice stopping point for traveling if you like out of the way places. Nothing around for 9 miles for services. Verizon signal was good, 2 bars 4G. This is a small area park with baseball field, large grassy area, playground for the kids. you have to stop at the small store out on the main road in and pay to get a key to unlock the electric boxes if you want hookups. Not sure if there is water available to fill your rig. the one faucet we found did not work. This is way off the beaten path but if you are looking for just a quick stop with a low price this is it. very quiet at night. - Douglas60dh
Jun 2015 - $10.00
A 30-amp full hook-up RV site for $10--amazing! This small park way out of town in the cornfields is hard to find, but worth the effort if you like bargains. We paid our camping fee at the nearby general store. When we arrived at the park, there were picnickers across the park playing baseball. But they left by 8:00 PM and it was very quiet all night with only one "long-term resident camper" in the back corner of the park. When we were packing up to leave early on Saturday morning, a travel trailer came in and hooked up to one of the full hookup spaces. Shortly thereafter, the wedding party arrived and began using the trailer as a dressing room. So, this is a popular, well-used park by the locals, but not so much by travelers. I would guess that some back-in full hookup or pull-through W&E sites would be available all the time. - fanrgs

Jun 2017 - $20.00
We had planned to boondock at the Ontario Walmart, but stopped here to swap drivers. We stayed. It is $20 and you have to pay at the A&W before you pull into the park. If you call ahead you get the A&W and the cashier doesn't know much about the park. The park is gravel with trees. Basic but clean. Not too much road noise. Can walk to the A&W. - sfrantz
Aug 2015 - $20.00
This is just a gravel lot with electric and water hook-ups. It was level so we did not have to use our leveling mechanism. There are untrimmed trees at each site, which were more of a problem than a help, since we had to choose a site with no overhanging ones for our 30' motorhome. I don't know my trees, but they could be box elder trees, which do draw box elder bugs, HOWEVER, we did not see any (I do know what they look like and know they don't pose any threat). Our stay was quiet and we slept well. We were the only ones there all night long. I suppose if you needed to use a bathroom, you could walk back to the gas station where you check in- not too long a walk. Anyway, for $20, it was nice to have the electric for our air conditioner and a quiet sleep for our long journey the next day. - mamadonna
Jul 2015 - $20.00
The comments made before are still the same. The only complaint is that the trees have now grown and create a problem rubbing the RV. The price has changed to $20.00. I have 50 amps and assume so do all the rest. There are just two site taken. No noise at all at night. I would stay here again. - Jimmyk

Sep 2018 - $35.00
Pretty rustic, but right on the river. We were the only non long term campers and got a spot on the river. It was very quiet. Nice grass for the dog. - Mtnbchgirl
May 2016 - $15.00
This park is a true gem, close to home, nice relaxing atmosphere. The manager is great, takes suggestions well and always makes you feel welcome. He has done a lot of major improvements over the last year. Rebuilt the restroom, has added 4 cabins, leveled & graded roads. Lots of trees and grass, sitting right on the Snake River. We have camped here at least a half dozen times. Wifi by the office, no satellite (trees), however, I go camping to get away, so it doesn't bother me to go without wifi & TV. Rates are very reasonable. It's not big and that is OK with us. I can't say enough good about this park, we just love it. - John-Barb
Jul 2015 - $20.00
Rate is based on a weekly rate. This is a small park with 14 spaces. four or five have long term residents. This park sits right on the Snake River with lots of old, large shade trees, river fishing, and a boat ramp. We were the first RVers under the new management. The park manager was extremely friendly and very accommodating to all our requests. The pull-through sites are a combination of gravel and grass with large shade trees. The hookups for water, electric and sewer were all good. Mosquitos were an occasional guest and other stoneflies or mayflies were an occasional bother. Dogs are welcome and there is room to walk them. The new manager stated he and the owners have big plans for improvements and expansion. For longer rigs, swing left next to the white fence to make the sharp right turn into the park at the end of the road. There is a large tree right at the corner where you turn. The Wi-Fi worked well in the front half of the park, with plans to improve reception throughout. There is no cable, and satellite reception is poor to nonexistent due to the large trees. Fire rings and picnic tables were on site. This is a very idyllic setting and we extended our original 1 week stay for another week. We would definitely return. - tnhall

Sep 2018 - $40.00
Based on previous reviews we looked forward to our one-night stop at Vale Trails. But it was a disappointment. Roads and sites are more dirt than gravel. There was very little grass and mostly thick dust around the site we were assigned. Site was very close to our neighbors and a large tree prevented extending our awning. Industrial area across the street and train yard 100 yards away. Dog area is maybe 120 sq. ft. and all gravel. No poop bags or disposal can. Staff were very friendly and helpful and cable TV was good. Didn't use WiFi because Verizon service was solid. Good for a one night stop if you must. - DSchamp
Sep 2018 - $40.00
One night stay in Eastern Oregon so park was adequate. The park was full so an additional RV parked next to us in a space that was not on the map making it quite cramped. Rules indicated dogs should be on leases but what looked like a permanent camper had a big dog that charged us until the owner called him off (luckily) Restrooms adequate, clean but dated. The lights in the men's shower did not work so when restroom lights on timer went out it was relatively dark Park was quiet, cable with 12 channels and adequate Wifi. - tfemaker
Oct 2017 - $42.00
This is a good place to stop for 1 night on the way somewhere else....not much to do here. The sites are long and level, but kind of plain with no landscaping other than trees. The park is clean & well kept. Our Dish satellite worked fine, but they also offer free cable (we didn't try it). Their free Wif worked fine. It's relatively quiet even though there are train tracks nearby. - Hands For Him

Sep 2018 - $15.00
We were surprised to find this is a Passport America campground, which makes it even better. Sites are on grass, which our dog loved. Two sites are back to back, so if it's crowded, it might be tough getting in and out. There were only 3 campers in 12 sites when we stayed here, so we didn't have any issues. I imagine it's only a problem during the fair and other big events. Great satellite tv, internet and cell phone. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. - Bobbi1948
Jun 2018 - $15.00
Nice one-night pit stop on the way into Oregon. Price reflects Passport America discount. Very peaceful setting. Basically it's just a grassy area behind one of the Fair buildings with electrical hook-ups, and a few water spigots. They had WiFi and it worked surprisingly well. Dump station just outside of the Fairground entrance. Spent time petting the friendly horses and cows that were in residence. It was like Green Acres minus Zsa Zsa - we'd definitely return if driving through the area. - theSchreibers
Apr 2018 - $15.00
Current rate posted on the gate/fence is $30.00, PA rate is $15.00. Be VERY careful here if it has been raining. You are just parking on grass and you will sink. It is OK for a overnight (if it is dry). - C and T

Sep 2018 - $48.00
This is not really an RV park. There appears to be only about a dozen overnight/short term sites. All the others are permanent, either park models or very old (not in good shape) motorhomes or trailers. Because of that, the campground looks kind of dumpy. However - the overnight sites themselves are beautiful. Shade trees and a large grass lawn. We had one of only two pull-throughs & it was huge. Don't panic when you see the railroad track. It is a spur & the train only comes 2 times on Thursday! Yes, we would stay here again if we were coming through the area. - storms
Sep 2018 - $52.00
There are people living there full time so it's not like a real RV park. We had a pull through site with no table and our door faced a full time house. It did not feel like camping. We met a very nice woman with 2 dogs who was a full time resident. The place was not well tended but the biggest issue is it was WAY OVERPRICED. We were on the railroad tracks, literally. No cable but good WIFI. They don't care about their customers, I didn't feel. - sadie the mercedes
Jun 2018 - $43.00
Park not muddy at all - where did that guy stay - our site was in the back and over 100 ft long - great stop for two nights to rest up for the push to Yellowstone. - rr2254545

Aug 2018 - $38.00
This is a beautiful RV Park very conveniently located within 1/2 mile of Interstate 84 near Caldwell, Idaho. As you enter the park you will be greeted with absolutely gorgeous hanging baskets of flowers not only on the front porch of the office, but throughout the park along with very well manicured grass areas between each site and a wonderful shady guest patio area with several gas grills and comfy outdoor furniture to relax in while cooking dinner. Rest room/shower rooms were in excellent condition and very clean. While the park is close to the Interstate it is located in a rural area and very quiet. Overall, this is a delightful RV park that is very well kept. It makes a good base for exploring the Boise, ID area. We particularly enjoyed taking an evening drive to the south of the Interstate between Caldwell and Nampa along the Snake River and viewing amazing farm operations including large fields growing hops, spearmint, all kinds of beans, wheat, barley, and hundreds of acres of onions plus several extremely large, modern dairies. It is amazing agriculture country. - MissouriBird
Aug 2018 - $39.00
This was our second trip to Country Corners. We like this park because of the proximity to I84. The park is close enough to make it easy to find and far enough off the interstate to make it a quiet overnight. For westbound travelers the park is located west of Boise traffic so any departure time works. The staff are exceptional! The owner checked us in and escorted us to our site. Sites are level and there are some trees providing shade. The road ways and sites are well graded gravel. Flowers throughout the park add to the ambiance. Restrooms and showers are clean and neat. We travel with two dogs and appreciate the fenced dog park with grass and a tree for shade. - Scott and Lorraine
Jul 2018 - $38.00
$37.80 with a Good Sam Discount I really liked this park when we pulled in, it has a very clean appearance and I would have rated it really good, but when leaving it is a nightmare and if I could have given it a minus score I would have. The road is entirely too narrow to pull out and makes the turn necessary to leave. It took us a hour of backing and maneuvering to get out of this park. I think it would have taken us much longer if a resident hadn't came out and helped. The resident says everyone has the same problems. It makes matters worse because cars are parked out in the lanes because there is no room to park their car by their rig. So be forewarned if you have a very long rig run from this place. - DallasRVers

Sep 2018 - $35.00
The CG is located adjacent to an industrial area just south of downtown Homedale, ID. All interior roads are gravel; all overnight sites are set on a thick, well-watered, lawn. Once the CG fills to capacity, sites may feel a bit squeezed together. The ground under our trailer was wet from watering, but firm, so leveling was not an issue. All utilities worked. No cable TV. We had a picnic table, but we chose not to sit outside - lots of mosquitoes on our site's squishy lawn. Most sites had plenty of shade trees. Front row sites have river views. Outer rim of CG filled with permanent residents in 4-season houses. Several campers we spoke with were repeat visitors: they really liked the river setting and overall manicured look of the grounds. We will likely not return because we couldn't adjust to the 24/7 hum of the adjacent sawmill/factory. - Kona Boy
Sep 2018 - $36.00
Best park we have stayed in during our month-long trip. All Boise parks were full and I'm so glad we ended up in Homedale, even though we had to drive a ways to our events in Boise. The grass sites right on the river were wonderful and peaceful. Would have ranked a 10 except there was only 1 combination toilet/shower for women and 1 for men. (I used the men's when the women's was busy.) Will go out of our way to stay here again if anywhere in the area. (Sawmill noise just "white noise" and not bothersome.) - PatNMerle
Aug 2018 - $35.00
The campground is immaculate, the restrooms so-so, not many toilets and only one shower. The entire park is green grass with sprinklers going all afternoon. there is a rumble/buzz from the sawmill next door that I think would be forgotten after a few days. The drive in does not prepare you for the beauty of the campground. We came from Boise, to the East and got off on hwy 55 to 95 then took hwy 95 to the signs. The Jump creek road is all gravel so I don't recommend that option, go one street further to Pioneer Rd. In my opinion, it would be nicer and easier to level on a gravel path or cement patio...the grass underneath is wet and we had a hard time leveling. Each to his own. BTW, this is not a party place by the river; strict rules and quiet. Shop ahead of time. Nice. - saturn7

The park is beautiful but unfortunately there is a mink farm right across the road. The park has o control over this STINK, but it is AWFUL. Could not even stay out or have camper open in the evening. Sad really: - Mads01
Jul 2018 - $45.00
We read about this park online & booked for 6 weeks, excited to stay. The sites are very close together & roads are very narrow. Not child friendly; we booked here hoping our grandkids would enjoy the 'beach' & 'lake'. I took them down there & did not stay long. They could only go in a few feet before it looked to be too deep. Small fish were aggressive & consistently nipped the kids. The water had a bad smell & the 'beach' was ground up stones & mud. There was small play equipment being put in while we were there. The gun range is behind a set of trees & the range is used ALL DAY on Tuesdays & Saturdays. We heard the train several times a day & night. When we explained why we wanted to leave, we were told 'no refunds'. My husband asked to speak to the park manager & was told 'no'. He asked for the contact number for corporate, and was told 'no'. Because we came in late at night, we did not have an opportunity to review the contract, which states the gun range is in use on Tuesdays. The site manager argued with my husband stating they don't shoot on Saturdays! He did give us a refund on each Tuesday, allowing us to leave a week early. The entire time we were there, there was a really bad odor in the air that we could not get away from. Smelled like decomposing plants. It was awful. - TJJones
Jul 2018 - $40.00
Was a full timer. Park is not children friendly. The park stinks often from the nearby mink farm. Loud noise from trains and hiway. There is a nearby gun range with shooting until dark. Lots of rules that are waived for "friends" but others get reprimanded for. No walkways inside park, only around the small lake. It has fish but only 2 - 3" at most. Trash containers are only at the entrance so get ready to walk way around on asphalt. Park is OK for stop overs but longer stays get nick picked for things most parks allows. Children must be adult supervised anywhere in the park. Don't assume it is OK to have something outside on your lot just because you see others doing it. You have to ask "special permission" first or you will be evicted like we were. We will never stay here again. - Clayton P
