Stayed 2 nights - right off I-84; this is an older KOA with VERY tight sites. The pads are cement and very level; laundry mat clean and not expensive. No pool or restaurant - nice areas to walk dogs. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

This was an overnight stay and for that it was fine. The roadways are tight to navigate however the staff helped get me in my site. The view of the valley is pretty if you get a back in site. My premium site had a privacy patio. The site was tight and I could not open the door of the motorhome all the way due to the patio fence. WiFi - good signal; T-Mobile - 2 of 4 bars; Electric - on opposite side in the front but they provided an extension for the site.; Water - on opposite side in the front but they provided an extension for the site; Sewer - no issues; Satellite - no signal due to tree; fenced dog area with grass; level site. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The KOA here is located on a ridge, overlooking the wide valley south of town. May's sunny weather showed it off to beneficial effect. The park was relatively small for a KOA, a single loop of paved sites, most designed for smaller trailers to back into, with a large number of long-term residents. It was clean and well managed; the staff was friendly and helpful. My site was quite large enough to accommodate my trailer and truck. A grassy lawn separated me from my neighbors. My internet during my stay was slow, indicating some distance from the nearest cell tower, but it was adequate. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Follow the signs VERY carefully! We drove to a dead end as were lucky to be able out. Then the campground looked very tight; it was. But there was enough room for us to maneuver, we are 43' plus a 20' pickup. There are many long-term residents But walking all over with the dog, I was amassed how clean and orderly the whole place was. The dog run was real grass and it was one of the cleanest I have seen. This is no destination park but a great over night. I would definitely use it again. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

An older park with limited space. Sites are close, and pull-throughs were almost long enough for my 65'. Infrastructure in good shape, everything paved and level. Exceptionally small dog park (good if your chihuahua needs a run, but anything larger will be frustrated. My Aussie just laughed.) Staff friendly and helpful. Very quiet while we were here (just after the Pendleton Roundup, so everyone was plain wore out.) We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

This is advertised as a KOA Journey. Although I have become accustomed to tight spaces in a KOA I did not expect to be next to a permanent resident with fences, multiple pets and having their auto serviced under my bedroom slide out. I will never stay here again ! We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Had not planned staying here but truck needed repairs right now. Diesel shop advised of KOA. Dropped 5th wheel off and returned truck for service. Spent two days at park sans vehicle. Park owners most helpful, willing to work with us regarding length of stay. Sites are close, but grass between sites, great views of the valley, and well kept up. Strong WI-FI, lots of TV stations on cable. Far enough off freeway for quiet nights. If we ever have another breakdown, I would wish for a place like this to be available. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

For us, being able to sleep is high on the list of importance at any RV park. If you enjoy listening to a steady stream of diesel pickup trucks idling, driving, and pulling out from 4:30 AM on, then this is the place for you. For us, this KOA fails in the single most important category. The fact that there is almost no space between sites, the neighbor's dump is right next to your door is all irrelevant compared with the noise. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

We booked this not knowing that a KOA Journey park is meant to be a stopover only. To be fair, that is what it is. You don't want to vacation here. This is basically a big parking lot. Sites have a small patch of grass and picnic table. I was disappointed that the dog park was horribly smelly due to the two garbage cans full of poop and the poop on the ground. Why can't people pick it up?? Bags are provided. The park appears to be mostly full timers. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

I had a long level pull-through. Wasn't escorted to the site but was told to be careful of the trees pulling in. The fenced dog area was nice except for the poop that wasn't picked by other people with dogs. I've stayed before and would again for the convenience to the highway. I think their price is high. This park has a lot of long term and full time tenants. As stated in other comments, the spots are tight and so are the roads. Our 44' fifth wheel took up the majority of the spot and I had to park my truck in overflow parking to stay out of the fire lane. My kids (2, 4) liked the playground. All services worked well (electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi) and we had no issues. The pull through sites are the only non-paved sites in the park. They are also the sites given to those staying only a few nights. The gravel is lava rock which is a little sharp and deep in some areas. Each site has a small grass area that our dogs enjoyed laying in. There is also a small off-leash dog walk where they prefer your dog do its business. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a "KOA Journey" park which means it is intended as a temporary layover park, and has no resort amenities. It was very clean and situated on a bluff overlooking a scenic valley. Sites were extraordinarily tight with a skinny patch of grass and sharp gravel rocks. If we had our awnings out, our neighbors could not open theirs.

Lots of site utility poles were bent as if they had been hit by a rig or two. Utilities were poorly located at the far rear of each site, and required us to purchase additional hoses (at high price). Water pressure was good, and no electrical surges. We have a 37.5' fifth wheel and barely had enough room to squeeze our truck behind the rig. The same five vehicles were parked in the overflow parking during the entire week, so we could not park there.

In spite of multiple boosters, WIFI was abysmal. We used AT&T for our cell phones and had three bars of LTE coverage. It was plenty for streaming movies. The camp cable only had 20 or so local channels from Yakima, WA. We used our DISH satellite if we wanted cable channels.

The dog park and playground were nicely maintained. I would stay here again only as an overnight stop. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
