5 RV Parks near Richland, Oregon
Jun 2018 - $20.00
Upon arriving at these parks you will first see Holcomb Park. Hewitt Park is .3 mi further down the same road. Hewitt Park is the older park with narrow back in w/e sites that half are right on the Powder River arm of the Snake River. There is no phone/Internet here. Holcomb Park is newer wider back-in gravel spots with growing trees between. All w/e sites with dump station. Phone and internet are available. Site water is OK for showering but not for drinking. Both parks have boat launches with a third launch between the parks. - bigbuda

Can't disagree with previous review. US Cell and Sprint cellphone will work. We have amp and outside antenna and got 3G Verizon internet but wife's phone didn't work. There are several gray water disposal basins so if you pick your spot you could run "gray" hose without moving. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Nice fish cleaning house which we used a lot! Most spots are big enough to have a tent plus an RV. Will return again. Price reflects senior discount of $2. In park WiFi is available if close enough to source. The name Hells Canyon has a lot to do with the temp as it was 111 degrees day and 70+ at night. - Big Buda
Jun 2010 - $16.00
Large campground situated on the Brownlee Reservoir. There are only a couple of pull-throughs, the rest are back-ins. There are only a few campsites where you can sit and fish; the rest are higher up with a fabulous view of the reservoir and hillside. Good water pressure and power. Some of the campsites are heavily tree where others are out in the open. There is a small store about three miles away if coming in through Cambridge. From Cambridge the park is about 30 miles in. This park is run by Idaho Power and they have three more parks that are on the Brownlee/Oxbow reservoir with one being on the Oregon side. No cellphone service here although there is internet for a fee which was $20.00 per week. By the day was very expensive. We really enjoyed the park and would gladly return the next time we're in the area. - jannie5
Aug 2018 - $19.00
For where it is, this campground is great. There really is no one on site to address issues, though. When we arrived, there was trash in the fire ring, including a soiled diaper, and a load of dog poop in the grass on one side of the RV. There really was no one to complain to. Our site was level and long enough, and convenient to Hells Canyon. Also, FYI, there is no cell service and no wifi here. - novastorm
Sep 2015 - $16.00
Picked this one out of a hat and am glad I did. The restrooms actually smelled good, not just acceptable, good!!
The campsite was immaculate and when I woke up around 12AM to use the restroom, there was a deer standing outside! - Oldenphat
May 2013 - $16.00
Nice shady campground on the Snake River (one of four owned and managed by Idaho Power Co.) located on Hwy 86, 1/4 mile North of Hwy 71 (GPS Coordinates: N44.97421 W116.85800) near the entry of Hells Canyon at an elevation of 1738'. It is a first come first serve campground, located 70 miles NE of Baker City. The closest grocery store, as well as diesel fuel stop is in Halfway, OR 17 miles away. Our Verizon worked reasonably well, but there is a pay phone available on site if needed. We would have ranked this campground higher, but due to parking bumpers placed everywhere to protect the grass, it made it extremely difficult to maneuver our rig in and out of the campground /site. We would return, but would call first to check availability (541-785-7209). - JustPassinThru
