Third visit for us, at what may be one of the most beautiful region in the US. We stay for a month at a time, enjoying the cool weather, friendly people and amazing scenery. Great view of the ocean from most of the sites. A mix of 30 and 50 amp sites. Verizon and ATT do not reliably work without a cell signal booster, with ATT working better of the two. No Laundry facility. Water is clean, but I recommend a pressure regulator if connecting to city water. Bring a good book and beach chairs. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Travel Trailer.

We had a site that had a glimpse of the ocean, which provided a great sunset. This site was near one of the bathrooms and trash areas. The road to the site was a dirt/gravel, which passed lots of trees and shrubs. The gravel pad at the site was fairly level. Both the women's and men's restrooms consisted of two toilets, two sinks and one shower (with a recommended 5 minute shower limit - come on: undress, shower and dress). It was reported to me that the women's bath was inadequate for space and the shower was dirty and moldy, which resulted in the low rating. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

A very neat and friendly Rv park. Right off Hwy 101. with great beach access. What we did not like was the intermittent slow to no internet. We could not get a ATT or Verzion signal strong enough to use our hotspot at our site so we had to rely on the parks Internet and as we all know it works well at 2 am but not at 2 pm due to network traffic. So be aware of the possibility of poor internet options. and poor cell service. Though this may depend on your site. Overall a great park with great views. If your a big rig you may have issues so look it over carefully. The staff was friendly the place is well run. We could only stay 3 nights as we really needed better cell and internet service. but this park is really worth a stop just call ahead it fills up fast and is very popular. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

The shoreline is right across the highway. Great beach to walk the dog. Town is walking distance that provides places to eat. Since the RV Park is right off 101 lots of road noise especially at night. Walk to town - walk on the beach We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

This is a small family run park, and its clean and friendly. Like others have said, it is right on 101, which you have to cross to the get to the beach. But its worth it. It a little tight, but we were able to maneuver our RV through the park to find out spot. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Grab a tide chart and go down to the beach during load tide. There are several tide pools where you can check out lots of sea life. The beach is long and easy to walk on, your dog will love it.

We stayed two nights. Because I didn't reserve far enough in advance, we had to move sites. This is a popular RV park so reserve early! The first night was in site#41 and the second night was site#14. Both are ocean view sites that back to the 101 highway. The views are beautiful! We had ocean views from our back window from both sites. Site#41 was not level, and we couldn't get our jacks all the way down. Also, on one side is a vacation home with a deck that faces the RV site. Not much privacy there. Site#14 was an end spot that had the highway on one side and a minor road on the other. There wasn't much traffic on the minor road and that site was much more private. It also had an ocean view from our dining room windows which was very nice. It was much more private than our first site. The grounds are nice with walking trails that lead to a gate to the ocean. The grass is well manicured. We didn't venture outside the campground, but it looked like you had to cross the highway to get the ocean. There is definitely road noise from the 101 highway with the ocean view sites. It was pretty constant. The cars are very close to the edge of the ocean view sites. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

We absolutely loved this campground. There are 34 sites, with some tent sites that are separate. We had a FHU site that was a pull thru, we parked in reverse in site 9 so we would have a perfect view of the ocean. We saw whales most everyday, and could hear the sea birds, it was awesome. The park employees were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this park. There are no amenities like laundry room, playgrounds, pool etc. but this park is all about its natural setting and the ocean views. There is a nice walkway to the beach, you do have to cross the road but is very easy. And once you get to the beach the tide pools are amazing. We were here a month and felt like we only scraped the surface of things to do. If you love the ocean and don't need things like a pool, this is the place for you! We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

It is located 10 miles from Newport with most any amenity or 5 miles from Waldport which has gas including diesel, great grocery store and deli also some good restaurants. Not to miss sites are Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Devils Churn, Depoe Bay and the free Whale Watching Center, Devils Punchbowl and Cape Perpetua, plus many more things.

We would have stayed in Seal Rock RV for our third straight year in 2019 because even though it is very close to highway 101 and noisy, it has an ocean view and easy access to the beach. Before we left Seal Rock in July of 2018 we went to the office to reserve the same site for a week for the next year and although it was too early to put us in the reservation system they said that the space would be saved for us. We planned our 2019 trip of 6 weeks around that promise. In November of this year we received a phone call from Seal Rock RV saying that our site had been given to someone else and that they would put us in another space. The spot they offered us was shorter and not suitable for our camper so we are now faced with finding another campsite at a time when reservations in the area are pretty much booked up. We were so disappointed and all we can say is to be careful when making reservations at this place. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is situated at an incredible ocean vista. There may have been a lot of amenities, but we frankly didn't take the time to check. We immediately headed down to the ocean (taking a very convenient path maintained by the park) and spent all our time exploring and taking photos. The park wifi worked well, as did cable and all the other hookups. It is a very short drive to town. We would definitely return to this park. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Travel Trailer.

Nice access to the beach across Highway 101 and great tide pool exploring available. Highway noise was noticeable but not loud and did not effect our sleep. Could hear the sound of the surf which was soothing. Our 1st RV experience went very smoothly since the hookups were very easy to use. The Park WiFi went down a couple of times and our T-Mobile HotSpots were very spotty but had very little impact on our stay. Small park with short hedges in the area we were in. An overnight stop for us on the way north. Easy to find, plenty of room to maneuver. Easy little walk to the beach. Others have commented on the highway noise. We didn't notice it. The only "downside" I had was that the pull through site we were in had an uphill turn to it at the end, requiring me to unhook to get the trailer level. Not enough of a downside to make me lower the rating, but worth mentioning. We wouldn't make this a destination, but would certainly stop again when traveling up or down the coast. Internet/wifi was usable. Better than our cell phone hotspots. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

It's so easy to fall in love with this place. Looking for a campground that gives you ocean views, a natural feel, and a non-parking-lot-like site? This is it. Don't want to be charged for amenities you'd never use even if they had 'em? This is it. Submitted a reservation inquiry online one night; received an email reply and phone call the next day. Originally reserved for two weeks. Was going to go to Eugene but after seeing the RV parks there, realized Seal Rocks was way better park for way better price so ended up staying another two weeks. Staff and management were very nice; often out-and-about even in the rain maintaining and improving the park. No two RV sites are the same here. May seem difficult to back-in to some sites, but just ask the staff for the best approach, take your time, and it'll be fine. If you have windows on drivers side, you'll see the ocean from sites 2, 3, 4. Site 2 is crazy long and fit our 40' fifth wheel, cycle trailer, motorcycles, truck and SUV lined up in a row. Site 4 is much shorter but fit our 40' and we parked our SUV perpendicular in front of it (truck & trailer went into overflow parking). Both sites were level, nice firepit and picnic table. Gravel under/around the RV and the rest of the site is grass. Got a bit mushy as it rained nearly everyday, but they allowed us to put our rug out. Be cautious, it can get very windy. New, bigger fenced-in dog area is in the works. Wifi worked well for surfing and streaming. Also had cable TV! Passport America discount offered for a whole week - amazing! Trees and natural shrubs/bushes all around, along with wildlife. Walk to the beach is very easy (plus there are benches) and we found more tidepool creatures here than in other areas. Be sure to go down at low and high tides to see the difference. Best views and one of the best values we've found in our travels. Aug 2018 was filling up back in Nov 2017 so reserve early for summer. Park was mostly empty in Nov, except for Thanksgiving. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Seal Rocks RV Cove for a week in a 40' fifth wheel. We were in site #43, an ocean view site with 50 amp. It was a back-in but there was plenty of room so backing in was not difficult. We loved the view of the Pacific Ocean from our living room windows. The beach is a short walk down a path and across Hwy 101. The campground is a short drive from a lot of popular locations. Newport is only 10 miles to the north; Yachats is about 17 miles south; and Florence is only about 38 miles south. The campground lacks some of the amenities often found at RV parks, such as a laundry room or pool, but the proximity to the ocean made up for that. The wifi is better than average for a campground. It often worked well but at times it would drop frequently. The only real negative is the constant highway noise from US 101 but the view more than compensated for that. We would definitely return to this campground if we were back in the area. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Fifth Wheel.
