The park has gravel roads and sites. The sites average in width mostly pull through. About half the park is long term residences however they are very well kept. All the facilities worked fine. The park seems to be under new management and have increased the prices dramatically from past stays. We were here for a rally ( with a rally rate) but the felt the park was not worth the regular rate they charge. We would look for another park if we were going to be in the area. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We had a good stay at the Silver Spur RV park. We were lucky enough to book spot 92 on the Fish Pond, which provided us with pleasant views and a little extra privacy. The park itself is adequate. There seemed to be quite a few 'unfinished projects' throughout the park. The clients seem like they are mostly vacationers, with a handful of full time residents. They had a fun arcade with old-school pac man (free!) and air hockey, as well as corn hole and other activities. The pool and hot tub were in good shape. Verizon signal was 2-3 bar LTE. We were excited that they had recycling bins...something that seems to be difficult to find. There is a teeny dog park...not adequate given the amount of space they have surrounding the dog park. We opted to drive 1.5 miles to the local community dog park, which was definitely large enough to throw the ball to Fido. Propane was available on site. We would stay here again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Good: modern facilities, well maintained The Bad: adjacent main road has traffic from 6am to 1am. Pricing: On the high end, at $37/night, reflective of the higher quality Roads: Highway to the site is a smooth, well-traveled blacktop. Interior roads are hard-packed gravel. Sites: Pads are gravel. Ours was flat and level. Well-spaced for a commercial RV Park- neighbors are about 20' away. Water spigot is directly below electrical outlet, on the same post. Risk of a short if your hose connection is not tight, or you are using a surge protector - the bottom of the surge protector will be directly adjacent to the spigot. Park is mostly long-term residents, but neat and clean. Most of these are on the upper roads, back from the highway. Dump Station: sewer hookups at each site. Bathrooms: We used bathrooms at the pool house. High quality construction, very clean. Door locked with keypad and separate deadbolt to secure from the inside. Shower had a sprayer with hose. Verizon: Very good. LTE with 4 bars. Did not use park-provided WiFI. Other: Dog "off-leash" area is very small, about 10' x 20' Tips: Silverton very close by if you need groceries or other services. We stayed two nights, mainly to visit Silver Falls State Park. Seems like this would be a good spot for an extended stay if you want to visit multiple nearby attractions. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Motorhome.

Made reservations two months in advance for 2 sites next to each other. When we arrived the office was closed and our site info was taped to the door. They placed us two spaces away in a different section. We have a 36 ft 5th wheel and my daughter has a 32 ft trailer and they placed us in a camper site that would barley fit our truck. When I got a hold of someone they want to move us four spots away from each other, until I told them it was unacceptable. They finally gave us sites right next to the road where the full timers go in and out two spots away from each other. We stayed a week and most of the spots in our row and the next were empty all week. Not happy. Other than that the place is great. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here 3 nights in a motor home, this is a very well maintained park. The check in building, the bath houses, pool, hot tub are all in excellent shape and well maintained. The complete park is landscaped very nicely. The site leave a little to be desired, they are gravel with no patio pad. Mine was a pull in with barely enough room to park my tow vehicle. One afternoon they had a band and square dancers at the club house it was a nice time. Even though it was on the high cost side I would stay here again. This park was funny in that they don't offer the Good Sam discounts on the weekend. That did not make sense. Well maintained, and very helpful staff. Great dog park (a big deal for us). They have parking for your tow vehicle next to your rig, which is nice. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Requested a pull through. Unfortunately you can not stay hooked up. As we were only here for one night it was a nuisance to have to disconnect. Reception was good and staff are friendly. Sites are wide open with no privacy and very short. 32' trailer was fine for length but had to park truck beside trailer and many spots people were parked on the grass. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A very nice park in a great little town of Silverton. Close enough to Salem, but far enough away to avoid the traffic. We stayed in the new section this time. Would have been a 10, but the gravel/rock up on top is a pain. Really no place to walk without walking on rock, unless you put down a mat. It is very quiet up there - no highway noise. Laundry is clean $2.00 to wash and $1.50 to dry. We were upset because we stayed 28 days, but didn't get a monthly rate. Wanted to stay longer, but not allowed, even tho' there were plenty of empty spaces. We will return, but did decide we didn't want to live in the park. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Grocery shop at Roth's. Great produce and meat. There is also a Safeway in town. Sky Nails for your mani/pedi. Great Mexican restaurant Ixtapa near Safeway and Sky Nails. Mt. Angel for German Sausage and Home Place for great breakfasts. Not too far from Portland for shopping and outlets in Woodburn.

Stayed here 5 days. Wi-Fi good, cable good, cell service good. Plenty of over the air TV also. Interiors roads can be testy. They wind around the park a bit. They don't like you to leave the park via the entry drive. Great pool and spa. They keep them warm. Close them a bit early in the evening for my taste. Propane on site and fuel very close by. Mostly quiet park. Park is all gravel so can be dusty when dry. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We visited this park over the Labor Day weekend on a 'shakedown' trip of our new 5th wheel. A large addition was just completed at this park in July 2018. They now have a small outdoor swimming pool, as well as hot tub. Sites and roads are all packed gravel. All are level and maintained, but you may experience a bit of dust. Road noise may be noticable dependent and the site you are assigned. We experienced some low water pressure one morning of our stay. Nothing too bad that would warrant me to stop my shower and run to the office to complain :) although others reported some loss of water pressure as well. Bathrooms, showers, game room, front office/store were immaculately clean. We definitely will be returning. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a great location and the park staff are super friendly and helpful. It's close to town (even to walk) and any store/restaurant/gas etc. you could need. Downtown Silverton is nice and has a quaint few blocks of history, as well as good post office, library and small park. The Silver Spur itself is well maintained, nice lodge, laundry, pool etc. However, the dusty rock/gravel is a HUGE downfall~! There is very little grass for dogs or people and the dust makes feet/shoes/paws dirty all the time, as well as the dust that kicks up every time a car drives through settles all over your site, cars, trailer, picnic tables etc. and not even great to have the windows open. This is super inconvenient for dog walking or getting exercise. Also had to take our car in after hearing a loud noise near rear wheel - turned out a rock had gotten stuck up there ($150). The other drawback is if you are near the main road (213), which we were, you will hear constant traffic - to the point where you have to close your windows most of the time (with early wake ups.....). We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lovely, well run park. We found it to be very quiet at night, which was great. Best Wi-Fi we have seen in a park. My only 'complaint' is that personally I am sensitive to fragrance and the restrooms were so fragrant I could not use them. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Loved that they had a game room with a pool table. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Well kept and growing RV park. They are adding a third section that is scheduled to be open in June 2018. One section is mostly long-term and the one closest to the road is mixed with most long terms in the back and along the side. WiFi worked very well. Laundry room only had 3 washers, but had five dryers - go figure. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed four nights and found the park to be very pleasant. Hookups were well placed. Our 41' trailer fit easily in the site with plenty of room for our truck. The park is very well maintained. There is noise from the road but most of the time we didn't notice it. The town is a very short drive away. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Silver Spur RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Must visit Silver Falls State Park and the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in the spring. There are wineries nearby so you don't have to drive to Dundee or McMinnville for good wine. Beautiful countryside for a drive.

Very nice park with friendly staff. Dogs are very welcome here! We camped with our 3 German Shepherds overnight with no problem. Spots are large enough and pretty level. There are alot of permanent residents here, but was not a problem. Some street noise, but not bad. About 12 miles off I-5, so it's out a ways. Electric and Wi-Fi worked excellent! Would stay again!
