As SKP members, we really love this park. The sites are very large (50 by 70), which allows us to easily park our fifth wheel and truck along with our extra vehicle and hot air balloon trailer. The park is situated up against a mountain side, which makes it really quiet. Everyone is really nice and in fact this is the first time that someone came by our rig after setting up to "welcome us" to the park. The staff person gave us a list of activities, told us about the park/area and even a free "welcome gift." We had arrived when the office was closed, so there was a box out front with "available sites" to pick from. One can also set up in the boondocking area for $5 a night. Our daily rate reflected a 2 week stay. We would definitely stay here again on our travels through Oregon. - Carried Away
Jun 2018 - $5.00
Late arrival and early departure on a boondock site. The check in documents were easy to find and lit well. Gravel space was lined and easy to get into. - Dp26
Jun 2016 - $17.00
The rate reflects the discounted weekly rate. One of the friendliest Escapee Parks we have encountered, everyone waves and greets you as you pass on the streets. Very large oversized spaces with a concrete pad next to your RV. Any activities in the club house are open to all visitors with a warm welcome. - Dick & Bev

Dec 2018 - $40.00
Nice, clean, spacious, overlooking the golf course, with a view of the mountains also. Onsite pro shop. Onsite propane, laundry & shower facilities. - a_miars1975
Dec 2017 - $30.00
I lived in this rv park from December 2015 to December 2018. The park had just changed hands and has a new manager. He is rude and has no respect for tenant privacy. I have moved out of the park because of this. - Cowgirl46
Jul 2017 - $15.00
We paid for a month but didn't start that long. It was a very good price including electric for our all electric coach. If there was grass or even mulch instead dried up brush and stickers on the site we would have been happier. Quite a few long termers in older campers. The golf is real nice and about hop skip and a jump on foot from the park. Supposed to be a discount for the RV park customers but it was maybe $5. - CookieRV

Nov 2018 - $23.00
This is a large, well-maintained and professionally staffed park that is a bargain at the Passport America rate. Access from I-5 is easy, and interior roads are wide and paved. Sites are long, level gravel, fairly close, but each has a small fenced patio area complete with table and chairs. Check in was quick and friendly. The drive-in movie screen wasn't being used during our stay, but would be an attractive feature. Park WiFi was spotty, but Verizon Cell/Data was strong. The cable TV was adequate and there were a few OTA channels. Most sites have no obstructions to the TV satellites. The propane price was reasonable and access was easy. Lots of long term residents, but sites were well kept. We'll stay here again. - Meanderman
Oct 2018 - $23.00
Well maintained older park, lots of residents, but very neat and clean. Passport America rate available Monday thru Thursday nights. Each site has a small fenced patio and two chairs and a table. DVDs and books available at no charge. Propane available for purchase. Two large fenced dog parks. This park was very peaceful and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. - rdoghse
Jun 2018 - $35.00
One night stop, and fine for that. Spaces close and gravel. Lots of full timers but park fairly neat. Nice big dog run. Far enough from the Freeway that noise wasn't an issue. - J&C

Nice park with wide roads and wide pads. Our pad was over 80 feet long. - FatDash
Jun 2018 - $33.00
Very convenient off the 5 freeway, near the gas station and Denny's restaurant. Check in was a breeze, friendly and quick. The sites are fairly level with gravel. Hook ups worked, no problem. There's a couple of live aboards and all were friendly and their sites were well kept. - Kukana
Sep 2016 - $31.00
This is definitely a diamond in the middle of nowhere! Concrete parking pads with grassy areas between sites. Lovely surroundings and picnic tables with plenty of concrete area for lawn chairs. No specific dog park but plenty of grass areas to walk your pets as long as you clean up. Easy on/off Hwy I-5. Some long term sites but all very well maintained and clutter free. Would most definitely stay here again. Cable was great. Sites are easy to level on if your using leveling blocks. - Kittygramma

May 2018 - $40.00
We have stayed here often. Nice park located just west of Roseburg city limits on the banks of the North Umpqua. There is no river access from the park but a large county park is next door. Site numbers 1-41 are larger then numbers 51 and above. Lots of full timers throughout but didn't bother us much. Good staff. Park is normally very quiet. - Doug Toye
May 2018 - $40.00
This park does not take Good Sam any more. They had cable, however, it was a box hookup and it kept going off and then back on. A box is needed for each TV. The shower and restrooms were out of order, but they were fixed before we left. The office is closed more than it is open, however, if you call the number on the door she answers and comes to the office. This park is close to where the north and south Umpqua meet. There is a boat launch and park next to the park. - Colorado RVers
May 2017 - $39.00
Do yourself a favor, avoid this park like it has the plague! The park managers are totally incompetent. We were not provided any information at check-in, when I asked if there was something we should know I was told NO everything is good. Come to find out the cable is scrambled which requires a cable box we were not issued. Called about the cable issue and never received a return phone call. We had to come back to the park late and found ourselves locked out. We were also never issued a gate code. When I went to the office to find out why this stuff was not provided to us at check-in I was told by the park manager that it was too early and he would not talk about it. The park manager then took a phone call and just ignored me like I was not even standing in front of him. I requested contact information for the park owner and at first was refused; then the park managers wife the co-park manager said she would give my number to the owner and he would call me back (this has not happened as of the time of this review). Bottom line is if you are going to be treated poorly it really does not matter how nice the park is or the scenery around the park. It deters form the experience and being treated like less than dirt is poor customer service skills on the part of the incompetent park managers. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY STAYING HERE! - FrmrAnimalTech

Jun 2016 - $25.00
We have stayed here several times and never been disappointed. Easy, friendly, and the river is just across the highway (which can be a little noisy but not bad). No cable and cell / satellite is spotty but just adds charm. We will continue to stay here in the future. - G Hall
Aug 2015 - $25.00
The park was nice at first glance then you notice the rabbits. They are everywhere and the impact they have is everywhere. Feces stinks up the park from them and there's no escape from odor in your rv or their restroom building. The rabbits are fun to look at but the odor is awful. Cannot walk around without stepping in rabbit waste. People who live there year round are cluttered and dirty as well. This place could be nice with some work. It feels neglected and forgotten. Also think the large rabbit population is unhealthy. They need to care more for this piece of land and the health of the occupants. - Jason biggin
Jul 2015 - $25.00
Rabbits and geese everywhere. Rabbits were not much of a problem and more like an advantage if you like animals. Rabbits are friendly and you can hand feed and pet some. Geese make a hell of a mess wherever they are but they are wild. Geese are the biggest issue and ponds are scummy.
Worst part was gunfire from neighbors and the owners son and another started shooting rabbits in the park. NOT ACCEPTABLE, this is supposed to be a family friendly park! Claimed they were a health hazard however mother nature and the predators seemed to keep the numbers in tact. Rabbits are free to take if you want one or two as pets. Just someone wanting to kill something. I will never stay here again due to the gun issue. I support gun use but not in a family park. - FishBait_3

May 2018 - $26.00
Great stop! Sites 1-25 are backin W/E, 26-30 are pull thru FHU, host in 31. All sites $25.50. Self pay cash or check, credit card in fairground business office. Fairly level grass sites. They have a dump station in LARGE parking lot that is used a lot! One of the few in the area and only $5. Avoid Sunday afternoons during peak camping season. Nice host. Have restrooms & showers available but we did not check them out. Enjoyed the area and would definately stay again! - Army Guy
Aug 2017 - $26.00
This is poorly maintained gravel, weed and some grass area next to the main fairgrounds. It has a self serve bulletin board with a list of regulations . They accept cash or checks which are put into a locked box at the bulletin board . If you arrive early in the day you can pay with a credit card at the main Fair office. The long and narrow, mostly level pull through sites are located around the perimeter with small strips of weeds between sites. The back in sites in the middle had more grass and appear to be regularly watered. There are a lot of bull head weeds which have stickers which are difficult for dogs. The overflow area is mowed and provided an area to walk the dogs. The electric, water and sewer are conveniently located and worked well. AT&T and Verizon had excellent service. There were many OTA stations. There is no internet. Mid week there were only a few other campers. Access to and from the interstate was extremely easy though that did mean there is significant noise from traffic. It is about 1.8 mi into Roseburg and there are services of all types available. This is the perfect type of accommodation for a quick overnight stay as It is inexpensive and has all the necessities. Despite the drawbacks we would stay here again if we were passing through a needed an overnight accommodation. - bbmidwife
Jun 2017 - $25.00
May 31, Douglas County Fairgrounds, Roseburg, Oregon $25.50 Full hookups or just water & e, This campground is located on the fairgrounds and is right off interstate 5 with its own exit 123. It is a self checkin park located at the end of the grounds. The park is run down but the bathhouse and showers are very nice. There are only about ten sites with full hookups. We were there with about five other RV's including a host family. You can hear the cars on the interstate and the train tracks are on the other side but only one train came by when we were there.. What this park has going for it is location. We had just driven 42 over from 101 to interstate 5 and needed an overnight with full hookups. Roseburg is a few miles away right off the interstate where we stopped at Walmart, filled up with gas and propane. There is a county park nearby but I was told they have a tunnel with height restrictions that our 11'8 RV would not fit under. If we were in the area we would stop again for the convenience. - gsnakehill

If you're looking for a paved parking lot with resort amenities, might as well quit reading now. If, however, you are looking for a real camping experience in beautiful, natural surroundings with full hookups and extraordinarily hospitable owners this might just be your place! Camping here is by reservation only, so call ahead! Cash or check payment only and no long-term rates. Well maintained and super clean! Lots of people come here to fish and there are plenty of birds to watch, too. I was sorry to have to leave so soon, but we will definitely be back! - Katy29
Aug 2016 - $30.00
If traveling on I-5 in Oregon, it is worth it to drive 20 minutes west to this camp. We found it the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and reconnect. It is a serene and family friendly camping environment. All campsites are pull-through, facing the river, and shaded by mature, poplar trees that have been carefully pruned to accommodate the tallest rigs. Even on the hottest days a comfortable breeze came down the river gorge. Newly renovated laundry. Showers and bathrooms were nicely done and immaculate. A private, wheelchair accessible shower/bathroom is reserved solely for seniors and disabled persons. A stainless steel fish cleaning station and boat ramp make it easy for fishermen, and the owners came around every evening with complimentary ice. AT&T cell coverage was spotty with only one bar of 4G, but that is to be expected in the forest. Cable is also not available in the forest, but our satellite dish worked well. Being right on the river made swimming, tubing, fishing and kayaking easy and fun. We camped in a 40' fifth wheel with enough space for our RV, tent and tow vehicle. The sewer hookup was located at the extreme rear of the site which might be a problem for some. We had enough sewer hose, but the owners will loan sewer extensions if you need it. We definitely want to return to Umpqua Riverfront RV Park and Boat Ramp. - OH2SD
Jul 2016 - $30.00
Absolutely hate to rate this park because it is such a little gem. The park is a little dated, the owners bought this about 3 years ago, and are gradually improving and modernizing things. Normally I don't like parks whose sites are this close together and lack privacy, that being said. the clientele the owner caters too makes all the difference in the world. Without a doubt the quietest, most peaceful RV park I have ever been too. Not right off the freeway, so it is a destination, lots of fishing, some wine tasting, mostly peace and quiet. Good location for visiting the coast, (about an hour away), and still managing to avoid the crowds. Will definitely be back. - cdat

We were the camp hosts in 2013 and our host site was full hookup at the entrance by the large parking lots. The campground has no hookups but has water available, is treed, runs by a creek with swim holes, has clean vault toilets, a few pull-through sites, all tent or small camper and beautifully forested. There are several trails to hike, flush toilets near the entrance, a playground for kids, a big pavilion with electricity and water that can be rented and Rangers and hosts that care about their campers and their safety. Wonderful place to camp for a weekend or for the full week. - PERRELLAS
Jul 2013 - $10.00
Beautiful shaded small family campground with level sites and vault toilets, flush toilets near-by, and water available at several faucets around the campground. Swimming hole, walking paths, hiking paths, playground, picnic tables throughout the grounds and in each campsite. Handicap accessible sites and toilets, no showers, dog friendly but they must be kept on a leash. Firewood available, fire pits at each site, friendly and helpful hosts. We boon docked near-by as our RV was to big to fit into the campground. - PERRELLAS
