11 RV Parks near Union, Oregon
Jun 2019 - $50.00
Sadly the pictures on their website of the campsites were taken many many years ago. The sites were tired & took extra time to get level. No other options in the town. - Kat Bart
Aug 2012 - $26.00
First the staff was very helpful and friendly. The park is very small. We had trouble getting our slides out without hitting side partitions, between the sites. The website shows deep green grass at each site but all we had was dead grass and pet waste. Of the 8 sites 6 where occupied by long term, older rigs with lots of clutter. The park is behind the Hotel and as such is a little hard to maneuver into with a big rig (39ft), but it did fit. We did eat at the hotel. They had a good menu but a little high for the quality of food. Staff was very nice and accommodated a late checkout so we could play golf. - The Cook
Jun 2010 - $30.00
Union is a very nice, clean, small town. Recommended restaurants is Gravy Dave's (across the street) for basic home cooked food. There is also 24 hour WI-FI available at the library next door. Library hours are limited but WI-FI is 24 hour and you can access from outside the building. - Hayesworld
Aug 2011 - $9.00
This is a campground, the sites are between the road and the creek. Pretty much used by locals as it is off the beaten path, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed the stay, except for a couple of unrelated incidents by locals, but the camp host quieted things down. Nice sites, not level, beautiful area, nice hiking trails. Will return if in the area. Clean toilets, no showers. - 10-10
May 2011 - $9.00
Catherine Creek State Park is a nice and well maintained Campground. It has good spacing between sites, 2 pull throughs and 17 back-ins. There are 2 hiking trails and a lot of roads to check out. They work hard to make your stay enjoyable. No cell phone service at the park but if you drive to mile post 4 and park by the library you can get wifi. This was our second year at Catherine Creek State Park. - Roger from boise

This is a very nice state park right on Oregon highway 203 about 10 miles outside of Union, Oregon. It's a primitive campground with no hookups. Just some water spigots scattered around the sites. The sites and the roads are small and we would discourage anything longer than 36ft from coming in. About 1.5 miles of nature hiking trails and a nearby day use park which is predominately picnicking only. Both parks have flush toilets. The creek is not good for swimming. The camp host site is good and offers full hookups and a telephone line. Satellite TV reception is iffy. Lots of trees and a tall hill looking south block the line of sight. - Hayesworld
Oct 2019 - $42.00
Beautiful scenery with hot springs but we were too late in season to try them because of cold wind. Only stayed one night but very pretty area - Birdhouse
Sep 2019 - $42.00
TAKE EXIT 265!!! Otherwise the GPS will take you down a 2.5 mile gravel “washboard”.
BIG Grassy area for dogs
No off leash dog area but he said they will be adding it.
Pretty far from services
Not really a dislike but a few comments; I wouldn’t call this a “resort” but just a nice clean RV Park. Also the “Hot Lake” is more of a pond so not swim worthy. We didn’t use the hot springs since we were there for one night. Wi-fi was great for phone and FB but you couldn’t stream a movie. - Triple D
Sep 2019 - $40.00
Come in off of exit 265 otherwise you will be on gravel. The only reason to not give it a "10" is the gravel drive. This nice RV park is run by young REI dressed (athletic clothes) people who are friendly, knowledgeable and very responsive. There are lots of busy staff people. The people next to us had a problem with bugs and the staff helped them move to another site. How kind and helpful of them. This RV park is not associated with the nearby Hot Lake hotel. We will return and plan and extra day or two. - saturn7

Owners are extremely nice and accommodating. Restrooms/showers/laundry on site ($3 to wash and dry), they are cleaned daily! Ice available at the office - major convenience for us! Trees over our spot provide exceptional shade (it is very hot here). They are constantly watering/maintaining the lawns. Yes, there are a lot of people “living” here; most I have seen are traveling workers; the areas are very clean- owners do a great job of making sure park rules are followed. There are a lot of spaces that are reserved for travelers only - they fill up (and empty out) almost nightly! Conveniently located near the entrance and exit to interstate, yes you get some noise from the traffic but it is not bad at all. Pull through spaces, adequate room for tow vehicle, on site parking available if you have an additional vehicle, picnic tables at site, great power, sewer hookups convenient, basic cable, wifi available but I did not use that. I don’t have anything bad to say about this park- wonderful stay. - Oemacdonald
Jun 2019 - $40.00
Stayed here twice before. The restrooms have been redone. Trees are being trimmed to brighten up the place. Sprinklers water the grass and not the RV. Long term residents seem to be neater. A fenced dog park in the future. Things are looking up. It is convenient and I would stay here again. - Go often
Sep 2018 - $33.00
Nothing about this place is a " resort " about 8 spaces available, all the others are full timers. It is green and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You need a key to use the laundry or restrooms. There is a sign on the restrooms " to bring your own tp due to theft " A new low! - dd2some
Jul 2016 - $10.00
Nice park and as stated previously, all sites along the highway.. of course there usually is about 4 vehicles per hour along that stretch. Price indicated was before mil discount. If host available, inexpensive firewood available.
No dump station, nearest La Grande.
We picked a site in the back. Very close to road, but good dog area. - Bob Nelson
Jul 2016 - $10.00
Nice park, but the spots are all right next to the road so it is a little loud. The first four spots are out in the open, but the rest have some pretty good shade. Water is available at all RV spots, and I think generally at the back. - Webfoot0807
Sep 2010 - $9.00
Very nice park. All 10 RV sites are back-in and the park is right next to road, but traffic noise was very low during our stay. There are 10 tent sites as well. Really nice partial secluded picnicking next to the Grand Rhonde river. Great fishing during the spring/early summer months. Lots of well kept grass for the kids. This is a first come first serve park. La Grande is not too far away if you need something. - afnashcom
