Call for actual prices, because website is not up-to-date. Unfortunately price went up 25% this year. Presently worth the money, but I doubt this will be the case in a few years. Depicted rate is winter rate. Friendly staff. Concrete level sites. Heated, very clean, modern shower area and restrooms. Laundry with new washing machines and dryers. Excellent Wi-Fi, even when campground had high occupancy. Cable TV was a little distorted. Very quiet, only thing you hear is the ocean. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Just down the road you can rent crab traps and throw them off the dock either in the park or about a half mile away. This was great entertainment for us and most excellent eating! Lots of little diners in the area if you don't feel like cooking every night.

What can I say that hasn't been said by myself on past visits, and many others who have reviewed this great RV resort. It sets an example for what an RV "resort" should be. Situated on a jetty out in a beautiful fishing harbor and marina, it has all the amenities one would hope to have other than a swimming pool that is really not needed due to it being surrounded by water on three sides. We have stayed here each summer for four summers now and have our reservations made for 2020 as that's how booked they are during the summer months. Check out their website for all pertinent information you need as I've gone into detail with a picture on other reviews of past visits. There is no better RV park or resort on the Pacific ocean but there certainly are some that are a lot more expensive. The rates have gone up this year as there is an expansion coming soon. We received the rate from last year due to making our reservations before we left then. Check it out. If you like the ocean, the fresh air, and some great seafood in the immediate area, you won't find better. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Located at a fishing marina with a small village of shops, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. Old Salmon Harbor lighthouse is nearby as are the Oregon Dunes. If you need groceries or need to go shopping the town of Reedsport is just up Hwy 101 to the north about 3 to 4 miles and has just about anything you would need including a great place for breakfast called the Harbor Light Cafe.

It is almost impossible to improve when you are already my number one park. Still perfect in every way, friendly office, immaculate campsites. Still the only RV park I have ever been to where the sewer connections are cleaned before the next RV arrives. Going back in October. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Outstanding RV Park. Met 2 of the hosts who were very helpful. 139 sites, back-ins, pull thru, water sites, playground and golf putting 9 hole course. Very nice activity hall, good places to eat near by. Lighthouse tour was good. I will return, good fishing, crabbing. Going to enlarge campground adding 40 more sites starting on them Aug 2019. This is one of the nicest parks we've seen in the NW. Water on both sides, since we're in a bay, the management takes excellent care of this beautiful park. Many guests have been coming here (to this bay) for decades. Spaces are well maintained. We saw cleaning crews disinfect and clean the power poles and picnic table, sweep the pad and trim the bushes whenever a guest left. There are lots of nearby places to go, to eat and to explore. This quickly became our favorite park. We stayed a week at the weekly rate and would have stayed longer if space had been available. The staff did their very best for us, but we had to move on. We're looking forward to returning someday. Beautiful place. We also got to watch the Coast Guard do a practice helicopter to shop rescue where they lowered a man onto the "stranded" vessel just outside our site, in the bay. It made for an entertaining evening. The sunsets are beautiful, too. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Umpqua River Lighthouse and Coast Guard Museum is only a few short miles from the park. Be sure to revisit it at night and see the light in motion. The sand dunes are just south of the lighthouse, and many dune buggies/ATV/AHV's, etc. ride along the hills. They're fun to watch and far enough away from the park so you don't hear them. At the end of the road to the point, there is easy parking and a beautiful beach.

This is a nice private RV park next to the docks and dunes. There are many similar RV parks in the area. We have a 39 foot fifth wheel, and when we booked it they put us into a small pull through spot (which we did not discover until we arrived). The park did the best to accommodate us by putting us in a larger spot for the first half of the stay until we had to move to the smaller spot, along with a reserved nearby parking spot for the truck. But, we were definitely spilling over into the roadway and were fairly close to our neighbors. There are quite a few dune buggy enthusiasts (we were not), who ignored the courtesy policy of not running their engines within the park. The location was very windy. The local restaurants are OK. We did most of our eating at home. Verizon was good. The park does NOT have a recycling program at all, which is sad. Not sure if we would stay there again. I think we will look further up the Oregon coast next time, away from the hustle and bustle of the dune buggy crowd. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful fairly new RV park. Our site backed to the bay viewing the jetty entrance from the ocean. It can get very windy there hence a park across the street is Windy Cove. Restrooms are immaculate and laundry is first class. Each site has a small lawn, fire ring, table, and patio. Park is well maintained. 50 amp and our dual A/C's worked well. I have a electrical monitoring system and the voltage and amperage were adequate and consistent. Low voltage is probably worse than surges for equipment damage. Due to the abundance of sand dunes, this area is very popular with the ATV crowd. Fortunately this park heavily regulates them and most stay nearby. If they do get sites, they park them down near the entrance. Because they are so noisy, they must push them off the property. No dog run, but at the entrance there is a large open area to let dogs play. Several small restaurants across the bay side, but for groceries you must drive 3-4 miles back to town. There is a decent Safeway there. The real gem is the Marina Activity center. It has an large enclosed patio with heaters and propane BBQ. Attached is a community room with a refer, wash sink, and big screen TV. It can also be used as a meeting room for over 100 people. All free to use. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wide roads, paved sites, well-manicured lawns, shrubs, and trees with the bay on one side and a marina on the other make this one of the prettiest parks we've seen. We had a waterfront back-in site with a sunset view out the rear window. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. We would definitely recommend this park and we'd love to stay here again next time we're passing through the central Oregon Coast. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The CG is located on a peninsula with Winchester Bay visible on three sides. Boat slips with picturesque sail boats grace the inboard view. There are good reasons why this is a popular destination RV resort. The lawn and landscaping is expertly manicured while all the facilities are bright and new . . . the ocean is right outside your doorstep! The Umpqua Lighthouse lays right around the corner from the CG, Reedsport is minutes away, Florence and Coos Bay about 30 minutes in opposite directions. We stayed for a week. There's plenty to see and do within a comfortable drive. All internal roads are paved; utilities are modern and well-located. Water pressure is strong and electric service is reliable. Pull-thru site 82 required leveling blocks. Wi-Fi works flawlessly and the cable TV offers ample selection (but picture quality is intermittent to mostly poor). OTA reception is limited. Satellite exposure appears to be clean and open. The CG is off the main road, very quiet and feels safe at night, although night lighting is not strong. All sites have a quality picnic table, fire ring and a private swatch of healthy grass. Watering occurs nightly, so if you don't want wet furniture in the morning, pull it back out of the way. Groceries, fuel and limited services are found in Reedsport, making this a good base camp to take in the surrounding sites. Major services exist in nearby North Bend/Coos Bay. If you enjoy being close to the sea (with all its moody weather) this CG is hard to beat. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. View of the harbor is nice. Slow and quiet this time of year. The waterfront sites that are 50' are a level up and across the road from the water. If you want to be in a true waterfront site request a 40' site. Everything was great overall, and a nice spot to relax a day or so. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great park right on the bay. Our site over looked the harbor the views where stunning. Easy access wide roads with back in sites for trailers and head in sites for motorhomes, also had pull thrus. Who ever designed this park new what they where doing. The sites are wide and because of the way they are laid out felt spacious. If you do not care about a pool than this park is a '10'. Winchester Bay RV park is a park right on the Bay. Water surrounds the park on three sides. The sites are spacious enough with the RV and a picnic table sitting on asphalt. There is room to park your toad on the site. Each site has full hookups and the wifi works OK at times. It can get a bit windy at the park. On the bad side, the park does not allow packages or mail to patrons to be collected by the park office. We stayed at the park in a motorhome and would stay there again. A fantastic setting of the harbor, lots of view, grass. Paved pads, newer hookups well maintained as best as we could tell. Will go back again. The office staff are less than friendly. We booked more than 6 months in advance but still were told we would have to move, one night in one space, one night in another. Told to call as often as wanted to see about getting two nights in one space. Every time we called which was 2-3 times a week, we would ask if any cancellations and without a moments hesitation, no.. Every time, no... Including when we checked in we asked, and without looking up, said "NO". Others staying there said the experienced the same attitude. Less than pleasant. However, we will stay again and book even further in advance next time. There are people who come for months at a time so there are probably few cancellations. But it could be handled better and more politely. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sand dunes all over the place. Harbor has fisherman type restaurants. Not fancy but good food. Not all that much choice on fresh fish to buy.
