We stay here a few days each year. Very nice small park that is full most every night during the camping season. Reservations are suggested. There is no cell service so no hot spots for internet service. Parks internet isn't what you would expect for the price range paid. I would rate it as poor. Cable tv is also on the poor side but clear skies for satellite service. Hookups are arranged very well and site pad was excellent. The beach is a few short steps and is only other patrons of the park. Sunsets nightly. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

We reserved a beach front site which means that your site either faces (or backs up to) the ocean waves. Even though we were here in August, the weather can still be quite chilly if it overcast and the wind comes up strong. We had not been here in about 5 years, and some things had changed. One interesting one is that they have taken down several park model type cabins that they had for rent. They are in the process of converting the spaces back to RV spots, and we got one of them that was still in process of being converted. What that meant was that some of the utilities, like the electrical hook ups were still on the wrong side for a head in site. Fortunately I had enough cord on the reel to reach under the rig to the opposite side pedestal. The sewer was also way in the front of the site by the beach, so we needed about 30+ foot of sewer hose to reach the hook up. The park is rather small, 29 sites and the pads are cement and roads asphalt. The on site amenities are a club house, social area, and work out room. A grass area next to the rear sites has horseshoes and corn hole games. No pool or spa, but the beach is very close. The beach is dog friendly, and we took our dog on many walks on the sand when the wind would die down. The biggest negative for this park is a total lack of cell signal. I was able to get an occasional weak Verizon signal with the antenna and booster, but it never lasted long. The park offered Wifi, but it was sketchy and usually overloaded. The other issue here is that nothing is close. The town of Yachats is about 6 miles north on Highway 101, but most of it is twisty with sharp corners, so count on 20-30 minutes one way to get to town depending on traffic. And the town is not very big, so if you need anything special you will be going even farther. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Not many choices along the central OR coast if you have a big rig. Ours is only 35ft, but we still had trouble. Were looking for a full hook-up. Sea Perch was a very nice place. Clean, owner and the staff were very good and friendly. The site was clean, big and level. Plenty of room for our rig and toad. The park is right on the ocean with a beach. There are hand full of spaces right on the the beach the rest are along the sides. They are all back-in sites. Ours was called an Ocean View, but that was stretching it quite a bit. You need a site in the low 20s to get a view. The park is right next to the highway and if you are in one of the higher sites near the office, you will hear the highway noise. Otherwise, you hear the ocean and the waves crashing which is much better. There is a very nice club house and they offer a very Saturday night social. It was fun to meet the other RVers. I was very disappointed in the WiFi. Very slow speeds and almost no upload capability. You will have little to no cellphone coverage as well. They have cable, but it was grainy and static and not usable. Restrooms were very clean and laundry was nice, but a little high. It is tight getting around in and out of your space, but manageable and not an issue. Overall, it was a very nice, clean place, right on the beach. You are paying for the location! We felt that $75 was pretty high given the lack of other services. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This place is almost perfect. The lack of cell coverage and very poor WiFi is a drawback.. I'm not sure what the typical weather is here but we stayed 5 nights and the wind was so strong that we never sat outside. It might as well rained. I'm not blaming the resort. Other than what I mentioned it is one of the best. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The only downside to this park is terrible Wi-Fi. When I first asked about it the staff member that I talked to stated that he knew of no problems with the Wi-Fi. After another 30 minutes of checking my equipment went to the office to be told they were very much aware of the Wi-Fi issues.

It would have been good service to have told me that were having problems with the Wi-Fi when I checked in and was given the Wi-Fi passwords.

Not in there control but very spotty cell phone coverage. You will be walking around looking for service. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

You pay for the view. This is a very nice park and my wife loves the beach so she really enjoyed it. Sites are a little close together. We were in a TT and next to us was a MH. We backed in, they went straight in therefore their slides were within @ three feet of us. Fair wifi, no cell service and cable is all analog therefore grainy. Might stay here again. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Rate was high, but then we paid for the view. We were ocean front and definitely enjoyed that. Site is wide, level concrete pad with stones in between sites. From the front of the ocean sites to the beach was grass. Translation: no sand in coach. There were steps down to the beach at some point, but I guess they were washed away and not replaced. You can still access the beach, but for those with knee issues, etc, it can be challenging. All hookups and WiFi were excellent. The Club House was huge with a nice exercise room, sitting areas, laundry, kitchenette, and one public phone which allows you to place long distance calls free (no ATT or Verizon cell signal here). The biggest disappointment we faced was that you expect privacy for the price you pay. The oceanfront sites were designed as "pull ins". However, the utility posts are double. Therefore, trailers can back in and share a post. The end result is you could end up with a "buddy site" as we did. High price to pay for no privacy. Based on the price and shared posts, we probably would look elsewhere if in the area. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

On the ocean! Ocean lovers will love this place. Very nice club house with gym, pool table, phone, and kitchen. There is no Verizon service here. That's why they have a phone available. Good Wi-Fi. As nice as the park is it's overpriced for what it is. Save some money on a much nicer place 35 miles north. If you are in a 45-footer don't try to stay in the first 3 sites to the right when headed toward the water. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A really great place with a captivating view of the Oregon coast. We had a site in the front row and was mesmerized by the gigantic waves breaking and rolling up to the breaker we were parked. Nice staff and well kept RV Park. One down side is the lack of Wi-Fi and Internet access. We had to drive 8 miles in either direction on 101 before access was possible. Great park except for the lack of onsite employees. The office was forever locked up at the busiest time of the year for them. Wi-Fi was listed, but did not work. There is no cell phone service in this area; the Wi-Fi should have worked because you are out of touch with the outside world. Oceanfront very wide pads for extra cost were great. The view and the beach are a 10/10. The club house is luxurious. The draw back was that it is not that close to any amenities. The owner plans to put in a hot tub to help ease the pain of the site costs which will be awesome. Some of the sites are being sold, but the grounds are all immaculate. We didn't have great weather but still had a good time. Would love to stay when the whales are in the area, or in the summer for the weather. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is very nice. All spaces are extremely level, paved and double wide. The RV park is practically on the beach and very quiet, solitude. At night there are floodlights that light up the ocean and beach. This is very cool if you are in the spaces 4-8 which faces the ocean. This park is made for "big-rig motor home coaches" because most of the hookups are opposite for a travel trailer/5th Wheel. There is a really nice lodge with laundry, weight room, TV in every room, game room, and kitchen. This park does not allow any tent camping. I would have rated this park a 10 if they hadn't removed RV spaces with Villas on the Ocean front blocking your view, WiFi only works in the lodge (maybe) and cellphone is spotty. Staying here is only worth $60 if you have a space on the ocean, front otherwise you are looking at other RV's and concrete. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice neat and newly refurbished park. A little pricey but well worth the ocean access and great view. Yachats is a cool little ocean side town with some good eats and fun shops. One of the prettiest parts of the Oregon coast. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was the 4th time we've stayed here, but the first since they remodeled the sites. Now they are all full hook ups on nice large cement pads. We are sad to see them selling the sites, though they are selling very slowly. We stayed ocean front, so pretty expensive. You don't need a pool or other extras, the ocean is within feet of your RV. The new club house is great. Our only complaint is that most the sites ocean front are intended for their models or for motor homes, so our fifth wheel had the sewer hose located just in front of our entry door. And it didn't smell so good. Ours was the only site that seemed to have this problem. If we're back in the area we would most likely stay there for a couple of days to be right on the ocean again. Beautiful! We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice big sites. Rather pricey. I was on pad 27 at $45 per night. Waterfront sites are $60. Run by a young fellow with little RV Park experience. I was visiting a friend in Yachats [6 miles north] otherwise I would have skipped this overpriced park. Nice club house. Calls itself a RESORT. Hardly. No pool, no tennis, no amenities except a pool table. Poor Verizon cell signal. Spotty Wi-Fi. The web site shows lots of park models but there is actually only one and it is under construction. Don't believe the web site. Beth and Ken are listed as the managers when in fact Beth, the prior owner, only works there a few days per week. I tried to make a reservation via the web but got no response. I had to call. Don't rely on making a reservation via email. This could be a great park if they lowered the prices and got some good management. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.
