Not a big commercial campground fan, but this is the most gorgeous commercial campground we have ever stayed in. The place is enormous. Sites are very nicely spaced. Most campers are seasonal, but their sites are in excellent condition and all rigs look very road worthy. Most are big fifth wheels. There is one set of bathrooms, but clearly everyone has their own facilities. As far as I know all sites are full hookups. Great family place with a heated in ground pool, lovely playground, volleyball set up and some trails around the campground. The owners are extremely friendly and nice. The place is immaculate. Very pretty landscape and we enjoyed our pull through with full hook ups. Even though we were only staying one night, we had a very nice site. I would absolutely stay here again and would even stay longer. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Mercer is nearby with a supermarket and liquor store. Mercer County Courthouse is an impressive building. Town of Mercer doesn't have that much else. Very beautiful country.

As most of the other reviewers have stated, and I agree, this is a beautiful campground. It is well maintained and every site is manicured and clean. It is easy to see that when the CG owners care, so do the people who stay, whether for one day or all season. During several long walks with the K9, I did not see one site that needed cleaning or updating. And being out in the country, the "sleepability" was excellent. It was peaceful and quiet at night. My only complaints, and they are not huge, is that there was no Wi-Fi the night we stayed, and I thought the rate was a tad high for a transient. The Wi-Fi was not a big deal for one night, but if we had stayed longer, it would have made a difference for us. No question, if in the area again, it will be Rocky Springs for us. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

This camp was a beautiful find!! The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating in every sense of the word. The cleanliness, scenic beauty, peace and serenity were tremendously comforting. Wish we lived a lot closer...we'd be there at every possible occasion! There was ample room to set up our trailer. Other units were visible, but the setting was simply idyllic & quiet, privacy was upheld beautifully. The road in to the campground is apparently part of an Amish community. We were surprised to see the horse & buggy traveling down the road. Lovely in every way. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is by far, the BEST campground we have ever stayed at. It is absolutely beautiful. In the woods, large, gorgeous trees all around. It was meticulous. There were many full timers there and ALL of them had gorgeous set ups. Everything was immaculate and well cared for. You can tell that the owners of the campground and the residents take a lot of pride in their site. There were play grounds and a pool and everything looked brand new. It was easy to get to, easy to navigate, perfect amount of space, excellent hook ups, people were very friendly, very quiet and very beautiful. If I could give it 11 stars, I would. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very quiet park. Owners very accommodating. Lots of well kept seasonal. Heated pool, stocked catch and release pond, playground. Security card gate. If you have a long rig, take it very slow off of the road into the park. Would return if in area again. AT&T service good. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground. Everything is well kept and clean. Nice pool and playground. Our site was fairly level, adequately spaced and not hard to get into. We had an escort, Joe, who took us to our site and assisted with maneuvering in. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They even deliver ice and firewood to your site for a fair price. They do their best to make you feel welcome and appreciated.
The only down side to our site was a large tree with roots that extended into our door area. Since there was a dry spell the roads were very dusty. Both were mild irritations not problems.
The transient and seasonal areas are separate. We found the seasonal people to be quite friendly. All of their sites are tidy and kept to look like they are part of a campground, not a trailer park.
We would camp here again without hesitation. Our week there was very pleasant.
We camped here in a travel trailer. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The owners could not have been nicer. When we checked in the owner took us to our spot and helped us back in. They have a nice playground and pool. The restrooms were very clean. I would definitely camp there again. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very clean, quite, and well maintained. The pool was nice. They have a great catch and release pond that yielded some 3+ pound large mouths. The sites are well spaced and relatively level and the owners are super nice. I would have rated higher, but they charge an extra $8 per kid over two. This is a little steep for the area and there were limited (hayride) organized activities for children. We will camp here again. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here over Memorial day weekend. If you have a big rig it is going to be tight for you. There is a steep climb from the office to the campground above and our site was not very level and a bit of a challenge to get into. Bath house is clean but not heated, so it was cold. Wouldn't want to have to use it in the spring or fall when its really cold. You're not allowed to bring a golf cart, but the permanents all have them, and they like to parade into the overnight sites to rub it in. Owner seemed nice ,but very strict. There is not much of a playground for the kids and it is located with the permanent sites not central. They seem to cater to the permanent campers. Overall it has potential, but we will probably not stay here again. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a gem in the making. New owners. We were greeted with friendly smiles. Very clean restrooms/showers. Heavily treed which have been trimmed, so there is no problem. Being a family friendly park is highly stressed. Has a catch and release lake. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rocky Springs Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
