Only 4 miles off I-78 and easy to navigate. For your first trip, disconnect your toad at the top of the hill just before the park entrance. (The roads are steep inside the park). The park is located in a very beautiful part of Pennsylvania and very convenient to the Kutztown and Allentown areas. It was very convenient to have free cable TV. This is an Encore property and part of the "Trails Collection" offering. Lots for the kids to do. Friendly staff. - Todd Fogelberg

First Impression: Too far out in the country for a stop-over CG. Many seasonal sites that look nice. CG buildings appear to be aged farm buildings (wood rot, deteriorating). Safety: No concerns. Access: Exit 40 off I-78, turned north on PA-787, immediate left onto Old Route 22. Right on Donat Rd, straight on Little Round Top Rd, to Robin Hill Rd that puts you in the CG. Old Route 22 in poor condition. Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Nice store with snacks, food items, souvenirs, RV equipment items. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations available through RVontheGO. No price discounts. Facilities: Pool and big game room ($). Small, clean laundry room. Restrooms near office need restoration. They're outdated, have mold, and need a deep cleaning. The men's room smells like an outhouse. Propane sales. Multiple playground areas. No off-leash dog run. Campground: In a flood plain (stream). Wooden buildings might not survive a storm. Moderately wooded. Interior roads are narrow, dirt/gravel and asphalt in good condition with gentle turns and no overhead obstacles. Mostly seasonal sites. Big rig challenging and long coaches might have maneuvering problems. Tent areas, no yurts but cabins are available. Sites vary from close to secluded (seasonals), sufficiently level, grass/dirt/gravel, all back-in. Pedestals at middle of site with electric 20/30/50; metered for long-term. Adequate water pressure with good taste. No sewer; "FHU" means using a bladder lying on the ground. Mine was smashed - unusable. No patios; usable picnic tables. Fire rings. Marginal satellite views (trees). Free cable TV (34 channels). Tengonet Wi-Fi but limited range. Verizon phone and 4G at 1-2 bars. No recycle bins. Noise: Some CG road traffic - minimal. Bug Report (late July): biting flies. Runners: CG roads good for running. Yoga: put your mat on the grass if so inclined. Conclusion: Score 5-Acceptable. IMO: overpriced. CG charges $4 "resort fee" per day. - StephenK

Pretty much a park for annuals, about 90%. There are a few open sites for passers through. Our site was weird to figure out; we parked the trailer on the grass with our site itself gravel. Big enough for the truck as well. Our section was up a huge hill but level on top. FHU site; water quality is good; electric good. Verizon coverage is OK and the park offers cable, which is nice. Pretty big park with a couple of playgrounds, swimming pool, activity center. Have not found a place to let the dogs loose though; there are lots of farms in the area. - Kerch Family

Very, Very rustic campground. We needed to stay in area for a wedding and work. It is very rustic, it has pool, which we didn't use, camp store is rough. They have activities for kids, but they announce over loud speakers at 9 pm and 11 pm, which woke up the grandbaby. No Wifi that we knew of. No Cable, and our Dish had too many trees in the way for signal. - JD LKG
Oct 2016 - $38.00
The road leading to the campground is narrow, but we were able to drive our 32' motorcoach to the campground with little problem. The campground is aptly named. Sites are wide with a gravel base and lots of boulders and trees. Sewer is not available for non-seasonal stays, but there are dump stations available and there is also a honey dipper service available for a fee. The campground offers different activities on the weekends and made announcements over a loud speaker about them occasionally, including when the quiet hours started at 11:00pm. It was noisy with children playing in the area we camped in (site 15).
One feature this campground offers is a deli that is open on Fridays from 4:00-9:00pm that offers dinner (this weekend was meatloaf - ask when making a reservation). This could be helpful when arriving in the early evening for a possible meal solution.
The owners are very helpful even with repairs, which we found out when one of our sliders stopped functioning. We appreciated Bill taking a look at it for us and helping us get it back in. - JC06
Jun 2012 - $35.00
This is the first time staying at this campground and we were pleasantly surprised. It is tucked away on some back wooded roads and the campground is spread out on two sides of the road. We stayed in a section away from the main campground where the pool and activities were going on, across the road, but we liked it. Very spacious, wooded pull through site. It has a lake for fishing and lots of activities for kids and grown-ups were posted. We walked around to see what the other sites looked like: 90% are permanents, but they have 2 small sections dedicated pretty much to weekend campers. And both sections were shady and set up nicely. We went to Rice's Flea Market on Saturday, which is about a half hour away. The only reason I'm giving a 9: the two wooded sections for weekend campers, do not have any bathhouses. You would need to walk a pretty far distance to use the bathhouses. We were only here for 3 days, so it was ok that they don't have sewer hook-ups at any sites at this campground and we could dump on our way out. We will definitely be coming back here at least one or two more times this season. We just loved that it was tucked away from it all. - pokey

We go to this Campground many many times during the camping season and are hoping to go permanent next year. The owners are amazing. This campground is very relaxing. We have been to many Campgrounds over the years and my 14 yr old loves this place over all the fancy places we have been. No fancy frills. Straight up real camping. - neff
Oct 2018 - $38.00
There are very few FHU sites. We got one near the office. We are on gravel with a picnic table & fire ring. The picnic table is next to the neighbor sewer. Reservations are done by phone only. No computer system, your name is put on a calendar. Some year round residents. No amenities other than playground. Its fine for a short time stay. If in the area, I think I'd find another place - jcpjane

The most friendly owners of any campground we have ever visited in 18 years of camping. You can actually talk to them without getting sales pitch. Just plain friendly, human. Great facilities. Nothing fancy, just practical and useful. Will go back next time through the area. - Tom Romito

We were in the lower section of the campground (1/2 mile from the office and main campground). The sites are level and a good size. The staff was very friendly. Had no problems getting satellite reception and had good TMobile service. The lower section has no restrooms (other than a porta-potty) or other facilities. The office, restrooms, and dump station are located on the main campground which is on a very steep hill. The dump station is located in a dead end so you have to back up to get out of it. Fortunately, the campground provides honeypot service to drain your tanks twice a week for free. Avoid this campground if a heavy rain is expected. The small creek next to our campsite flooded late at night and created an 18-24 inch deep, fast flowing river under our camper. It washed away everything we had outside including our mat, wheel chocks, and Anderson levelers and actually moved our camper sideways a couple of inches. We had to pull out before the water got high enough to get in the camper or sweep it away. It is not fun trying to hand crank the leveling jacks when they are underwater. We ended up in a Walmart parking lot at 3 am. Others in the campground told us the same thing happened a month earlier and they had to get tow trucks to pull their campers out. - Chuck Shrader
May 2018 - $36.00
We camped here because it was close to our family. When we booked our site we didn't understand that there are 2 separate areas in this campground. We did know it was water/electric only. When you check in you need to go to the main campground up the road and then turn around and go back to the lower section. They did escort us our site from the main office. They do have a dump station but it is up the road at the main part of the campground. No cable or wifi in the lower section. Our site was close to the road but it was level and grassy. This section is very close to Rt 100 and near a intersection where 3 roads meet so you did hear the traffic when sitting outside. We didn't use the bath house or laundry. We would stay here again if we could get a site in the main part of the campground. - joinpa
Mar 2018 - $40.00
Stayed here 3 nights due to need to be close to a family function. Other parks in area were full. Older park with mostly permanent residents. Staff was friendly and reasonably helpful, but the park itself needs vast improvements. Here to attend family matters in Philadelphia, did not do any leisure activities. Lower section of park was only half full, so parking for toad off my site wasn't a problem. Trash dumpster stayed full and campers left bags on top of or around it. Based on overall conditions of park, we did not use bath facilitijes or look for laundry facilities. - Movgfwd

Worst experience we have had all year while traveling cross country, very trashy run down campground. I called ahead to check on Passort America rates and was told it was $25 so I requested 4 nights. When arriving we were allowed to pick from a number of sites and were told the 50 amp was the same rate so we picked the only one available to fit our 38 ft 5th wheel. When coming back to the office we were only then told that Passport America only covers the first 2 nights and then were told that in fact 50 amp was an extra charge. They obviously are just trying to get people into their nasty campground and get as much money as they can from them once they're there. This campground is not even worth the passport America rate. It is 90% "seasonals" which have obviously been there for many years and are covered in junk and stayed in by people who look like drug addicts. We feared things would be stolen if left outside. Save yourself and pick somewhere else. - BrittanyFenn
Sep 2018 - $25.00
Gravel sites, many speed bumps, roads in bad shape (once paved), very poor campsite layout. Sewer hookup was 1' high, hard to get that to work. Water was actually in next site (dual hookup), electric (30amp) was way behind site, fortunately I have very long 50amp cord. Reg price $45, quite expensive for what you get. One night only and won't be back again. - travelingjerry
Jul 2018 - $32.00
The roads into the park are good, once in the park there are pot holes and some tight turns. Check in was fast and friendly. The park has a very run down feel to it. Most sites are permanent and not very well kept up. There is a fair amount of litter on the roads. Over the weekend it was very noisy with lots of partying. There is a pool, and numerous other activities, along with a catch and release pond. We were in site 118, a gravel pull through, end site. There is a picnic table and fire ring. Site was level with full hook ups. No issues with any of them. WiFi was very spotty. Verizon signal was good. We stayed June 14-18, 2018 and paid $32 a night. - BarrettsHappyTrails

Served its purpose of being near the Allentown area. If full, the sites are very tight but fortunately, we were the only RV there. Nice swimming pool. Miniature golf course available. Grounds of the mobile home park are very nice. Campsite is just a gravel driveway. - Siestacheryl

Lovely clean campground. Seasonals are neat and attractive. The campground has added a lovely koi pond outside the office & is landscaping the area. Good location for easy access to the RV dealers in Souderton. Very cordial staff. Shady sites. - Used2sail
Jul 2019 - $40.00
What a great RV park! Without a doubt, it is one of the cleanest, neatest, and well taken of parks that I have ever been in. Paved roads, gravel and grass sites, no trash, no RV's in disrepair, no weeds, very clean showers and rest rooms, and very friendly neighbors. There is no pool, or miniature golf, or kids activities, all which is fine for us, since we don't partake in that side of RVing. And why pay for it if you don't use it? The Oak trees provided shade from the hot afternoon sun, and with our awning out, it was comfortable enough to sit and read into the evening hours. And no bugs to speak of. The only negative is the volume of traffic on the road along the front of the park, but I slept well which is important to me. We plan to visit Valley Forge in several months and I sincerely hope that Oak Grove has a spot for us because I would not hesitate to stay there again. - Love To Travel 2

We stayed for one night as we had to be in the area and this was the nicest and most convenient RV park that we found in here. This is primarily a permanent residential mobile home park for seniors, but they also have a number of sites for nightly, weekly, or monthly stays. It is well maintained, clean, and pleasant. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The site we had was paved and level plus it had full hook up. We were near the office and the wifi was strong. There is no cable television hook up but there were many OTA channels that came in through our RV's antenna. The mobile homes and Park Models were all well maintained. It is not far from the exit and entrance to the PA Turnpike North/South Extension and easy to get to - in the middle of a nice residential neighborhood. Payment must be made by cash or check - they take no credit cards. Call ahead for reservations and availability. In mid-week we reserved the only site still available over a month on advance. Should we need to stay in this area again, we would go back. Route 309 (not far away) has many stores, services, and restaurants. Fretz RV is near by. - TimeTravelers
Oct 2017 - $40.00
Rate of $40.00 per night for full hookups, no discounts offered. Camping/parking here is akin to parking in a Walmart parking lot with hookups. Office hours are limited. Staff is friendly and willing to accommodate. As previously posted, all roads and sites are paved and level. Parking is parallel to the road and can offer a challenge to get into depending on the site and other units. Ambiance does not lend itself to outdoor activities such as sitting outside under the awning or BBQ'ing, although some did, zero privacy. All utilities worked as intended except the water was extremely murky, the color of weak ice tea. Maintenance had to come and purge the line. Every morning I had to run the water several minutes to get clear water. Although a convenient location, I would seriously explore other options before returning here. - ECM1
Sep 2017 - $40.00
As the names says, a mobile home park with some sites for RVs. Sites are arranged so you must parallel park the RV. Our site was next to Koffel Road and had constant loud traffic noise. Had to sleep with ear plugs. The site was paved and level. They have a small laundry with 5 washing machines that take quarters only, $ 1.25 per load and 2 dryers. No change machine, you must go to the office for change. Really strange and old electric connection . No cable or other amenities, such as table, pool, playground, dog park, etc. The park is set up for permanent residents not travelers. Wi-Fi is advertised, but we could not get connected. We could not find any other good choice for visiting the city, but we would try somewhere else next time. - starwind

Went here for a nice family getaway with a friend and her family as well. Camp sites are small. It was nice to be by the water which the kids loved. But very small. Luckily, nobody else was on the other side of us or we would of been on top of each other. They had a wedding that weekend there. Which was fine. But both Friday AND Saturday nights they stayed up WAY past the quiet hours singing and chanting. They do not enforce the rules there. We had young kids with us. We called several times to get someone over to quiet them and nothing. First we were hung up on when someone finally answered NOBODY came. Thanks! Two nights of being up until 4 AM for a reception for a bunch of wanna be rednecks. Just what I paid for. Never again at this place. I paid to have a nice weekend. Didn't get that because of other guests. Could not wait to get out of there and go home to sleep. People also had dogs running without being leashed. We advised the office of this as well because we had dogs with us. Nobody ever came to talk to anyone about this. So the dogs had to be in the campers the whole time. Dogs were sniffing around our campers at night and barking. People also walking and talking yelling right next to our camper. I've been to other campgrounds and never had these issues. Never again will I return to this place. The best part was being right up against the water. Other than that I would suggest looking into other campgrounds. This place is a total waste of money. - RusticCamper
Aug 2016 - $41.00
This park is difficult to get to. Do not approach from the north if over 11'6" as there is a covered bridge of 12'1" just before the park entrance.
From the south (Hwy 563 and Covered Bridge Road), the road has some low hanging limbs but we made it at 12'7" by going in the opposite traffic lane occasionally.
Owner is extremely friendly and helpful.
Park has many permanent residents, but the RV section is separated from them.
Might not stay again due to difficulty getting in and out. - durham4926
Aug 2016 - $45.00
The campgrounds is an older established park that has many seasonal campers. The seasonal sites have some units with a lot of junk outsides and many RVs have seen better days. The shorter stay sites are in a lower area near the creek. These sites are a mix of pea gravel, dirt, and grass. These sites are narrow with hookups behind. Most units needed sewer hose extensions to reach the outlet. The pool area is very nice and there is a nice playground for younger children. I thought the campground is not a good value since it is pretty worn and basic. - linnemj

Not a great experience at this campground. The ladies at the desk were extremely nice but the campground needed some updating. Our campsite sat right on top of our neighbor. Small tire rim fire ring and no paving or gravel at the site. Our first night we heard very loud, very foul language about 3 sites over. They did bring the firewood you purchased to your camp. Doubt I will use this facility again. - Chacha51
Jun 2016 - $40.00
Check in was friendly, pool was OK. Site was level, but electricity at pole was reverse-polarity (and fried my surge protector). When we complained, the maintenance guy said it was our issue, not theirs - they had never had a complaint of this magnitude before. They offered to move us to another spot but that proved to be open-neutral at the pole. We requested a refund of our money and departed quickly - were 'shooed' out by the maintenance crew. Not impressed. - Forrest Woods
