Probably one of the best COE parks we have ever stayed in. I recommend our site 97, or 98 or 99 all with beautiful views of the lake and easy access to the water We camped at Ives Run COE in a Motorhome.

This is a nice COE park but campers beware. Aspen and Hawthorne are the only two loops with full hookups. The remaining loops have a variety of sites, some with FHU, some with distant hookups for only water and electric. In addition, it appears that the check-in station is permanently closed. Meaning, according to the sign you must have a reservation when you arrive and you must know what your site number is. If you are coming from the north or south the better route to get here is Route 15/99. Then it is only a short ride on Route 287 thru the town of Tioga - avoid if you can going through Wellsboro. The campground is neat and well taken care of. It is also peaceful and quiet. The road leading in from Route 287 is paved, in good condition, and with no overhanging trees. The roads in the park are also paved, in good condition, but there are some spots with overhanging trees. Our site was paved, back in, easy to get into. It was reasonably level, jacks needed only to stabilize the rig. Site separation was excellent with plenty of green space on either side. Our site was partially shaded. Throughout the campground there is lots of green space and a number of trees. All utilities were convenient to the wet bay. You must use a water pressure regulator since the normal water pressure runs in the area of 75/100 lbs. Verizon cell and MiFi were excellent. DISH antenna had a clear view of the southern sky. This is our second time here and we would return again. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Motorhome.

Wellsboro -grocery, CVS, restaurants, auto parts stores, movie theater, etc. On the way there are several gas stations that offer easy access for RV's of all sizes. Tony's Pizza and the Pen Wells Lounge and Restaurant. Harlan's is a fantastic restaurant for breakfast. Log Cabin has great food. In Mansfield for Chinese buffet, QQ Buffet. In Tioga there is a Citgo gas station which also offers easy access for RV's of all sizes. In terms of attractions, the Corning Glass Museum.

This was the most beautiful and clean campground I have ever stayed in. The campground consisted of 5 loops that were well spaced apart. Between the loops were large, rolling, grassy hills. If I had been a child, I would have been rolling up and down the hills. We stayed on site #124 which was just a little muddy, but not enough to say I wouldn't stay there again; besides they had been getting huge amounts of rainfall on a nightly bases. Our sight had water and electric (30 amp) and was very spacious. The only small issue we had was not being able to have electric. A double electric box and the water spigot was between and shared with the site next to us. I had plenty of hose but not enough electric cord. I needed to go under my camper and then across my picnic area (or around) to get to the electric outlet. Had we been staying for another night, I would have gone and bought one. There was no trash on the ground, at all; it was so, so clean. I sat on the edge of our site and watched the sunset over the loop of campers below us. I will come back here! We camped at Ives Run COE in a Travel Trailer.

The campground was a nice COE park. Our site wasn't long enough for our motorhome even though online it indicated that it was. It had rained before we camped and was muddy when we hooked up. The campground was quite a ways from the interstate but the price was good. Level site, water, electric and ATT good. We had an open site so we had satellite, no over the air channels available. There were a lot of boaters with a nice ramp. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely, well maintained large COE park with 160 rv sites with picnic table and fire ring in six different loops. The sites in Hawthorn, Aspen, Beech, Birch and Hickory loops are all asphalt and the majority are incredibly spacious. Sitting areas are comprised of fine gravel (the kind that easily gets tracked in your rig). Most sites appear to have a front to back slope, so bring levelers. Any of these loops can accommodate big rigs, but they are on the short side (you'll have to jockey your tow vehicle to make sure it isn't touching the grass). Interior roads are also asphalt in great condition, and easily navigable one -way (narrow) loops. Pine Camp loop has primitive sites with no hookups. This loop is on a narrow dirt road in fair/poor condition about a mile from the other loops. These sites are not suited for big rigs in our opinion, as they are smaller and some are grossly unlevel. We stayed in site 32, a spacious FHU site in Hawthorn Loop which wasn't very level but within capability of the jacks. The park has a huge boat ramp area and at this time there is no fee to launch your boat. They also have a swimming beach, playground and large day use area. The check in office was closed (apparently during the off season?), so you just proceed to your reserved site. Ditto for the camp store. I'm guessing these are open Memorial Day to Labor Day, but there are no hours/days posted anywhere. There is a campground host that patrols the property if you have questions. Bathroom/shower area had 4 toilets and 4 showers per gender and were kept clean. The bathhouse in Hawthorn loop has a laundry room with 2 washers ($3.00 per wash) and 2 dryers. The park is fairly remote, so make sure to stock up ahead of time. The nearest Walmart is about 30 minutes away. Utilities worked well and Verizon signal was good. No cable and we could only pull in 4 OTA channels. This is a gem of a park and we would most certainly return. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Fifth Wheel.

A hidden gem. Spacious sites, very clean. Sites are paved. No activities it is camping as it should be. Make your own fun and enjoy the experience. No WiFi or cable. Verizon cell service was excellent. OTA tv reception, I got three channels, enough to stay caught up on the news. You would not be disappointed. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Travel Trailer.

Corning glass museum a half hour away. Memaws restaurant in Tioga a must. We had take out from there and it was fabulous. The cheesesteak was enough for two meals. When I picked up our order the restaurant was very clean and "homey".

We stay here a couple of times throughout the year. There are several loops to camp in. They each offer different views and opportunities. The sites are mostly level and groomed. Lots of grass, mostly shaded sites. If you want quite stay back from the lake as it draws traffic. This is a great place to kick back and relax. The lake you're camping on is a Pennsylvania trophy lake for Calico Bass. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Travel Trailer.

Lovely COE campground on Hammond Lake in the Tioga-Hammond Recreation Area. Great hiking trails of all lengths and levels. We lucked into Birch loop site #100 with a lovely view of the peaceful lake and easy access to launch our kayaks. Paved, level site but we had to maneuver our 21' Class B to access the power box (our 25' cord was just 2' too short...should have brought the 50')! We were there mid-week so the campground was very quiet, even though it was full. Bit of a hike to the showers since the facilities in our loop were bathrooms only. Very much enjoyed our stay in this area and would like to return. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Motorhome.

This facility is easily accessed via Highway 15 a major 4 lane road that runs north/south through Pennsylvania. There are a number of small gas stations near the park. This is an interesting park. It is set back some distance from the road so that at first one wonders where it is. All the roads in and around the park are paved with no overhanging trees. Our site Beech #80 was water and 50 amp electric only. It was concrete, back in, and our utilities were conveniently located. Site was reasonable level but auto levelers handled the leveling well. Water pressure was high so be sure to bring a water pressure regulator. Verizon cell and data were OK. Yet, and this is the interesting part, across the street and next to me were FHU sites. Furthermore, there are other sections of the park where the electric and water would require a minimum of 60 or more feet for hookup. In essence, choose your site carefully. The restrooms were cleaned daily. We stopped here to visit family so most of the time we were not on site. Nor did we use the laundry or showers that were available. We did check both out and both were clean and taken care of. This is a great place for those who love water sports. The lake was just down the road from us and there was a large concrete parking lot for boaters and a nice launch ramp. Also, be aware if you run into an issue with your RV there are no mobile RV techs in the area. The closest repair facility is State Line Camping Center in Lindley, NY. They do excellent work at a fair price. We stayed here in a motor home and would return again. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Motorhome.

We were here over Memorial Day weekend, and had waited too long to find a place to stay. We were able to reserve a dry-camping spot in what used to be the Overflow section, closest to the park entrance and about a mile away from the main campground area where the shower buildings are located. We had a full water tank so we didn't use the showers. There was a bathroom with toilets and sinks in our section, which was uphill from a second boat launch area. Due to heavy rains the week before, all the sites in Overflow were mushy even though they looked like packed gravel. Pine Camp loop is dry camping too, and the road out there is pretty bumpy and very narrow with lots of trees - a more rustic experience so beware. We were in the area to visit relatives, so we didn't get to take advantage of the area as much as we would like. There are a few sites in the main area that large rigs can get into. Some of the loops in the main campground are pretty tight and the sites would be impossible to back into even though they are listed as being long enough. There are six sites that are first come-first serve, but they go really early on holiday weekends. Probably not an issue mid-week if you're passing through, and the Overflow area was almost empty again once the weekend was over. You can use a generator from 6 am to 10 pm. The staff was wonderful and friendly, we hope to visit again. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Great COE! Lots of trees. Very clean and well maintained. Sites are VERY spacious. The road is narrow around the loop and is only a problem when we were backing into our site. We ended up in the grass a little bit. People working and volunteering there are so friendly and welcoming! We enjoyed every minute. Peaceful and relaxing. There is a very little amount of road noise but not much. We were right on the lake. We fished and rode our bikes and relaxed. The sites on the lake do not have sewer hookups. The dump on the way out is easy to maneuver. Other sites have full hookups. This is our kind of camping. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice young check in lady who gave me one of the best sites in the COE park. A large well groomed CG with paved roads and sites, nice grass and trees. I did not use the not nearby bath houses. Our site was level with electricity, but other areas had very unlevel sites and no electricity. There is a large paved parking area for boats with some docks at this large lake, and a large recreational area we didn't use as we were overniting. We enjoyed our brief stay. What's to say? This is typical of COE campgrounds. Very well maintained, grass mowed, facilities in great condition. Paved roads throughout campground and paved or cement sites. You don't have to live in dirt here. Voltage for 50 amp service: 123v on leg 1 and 126v on leg 2. Site was not level but auto levelers handled the leveling well. Water pressure was 82 psi. Verizon cell and data worked well. Satellite reception can be a problem with all the trees. We have Dish Network and could only get satellites 110 and 119. Sites are somewhat short for large motor homes. We had to park our tow vehicle sideways in the site so not to extend into the road. We camped at Ives Run COE in a Motorhome.
