6 RV Parks near Montmagny, Quebec
Jun 2016 - $38.00
Very large park with pool. But overall it was surprisingly quiet.
Our site was at the end of a row on an angle so we had another rig just behind and to the side of us. But it also meant that our "side" yard was triangular and small. We don't have an awning (yet), but we would not have been able to put it out in this particular site.
Laundry indicated on park map where we were does not exist. Did not look for any others.
Washrooms were close by as were showers, but NOTE: Keys for shower access are assigned as to what site services you pay for. We had WEP so no key to use their showers offered! I guess they assume you have a shower in your rig and you will use it. First time we have run into this type of arrangement. Fortunately we have a shower in our small converted cargo trailer.
Gate access is controlled by office staff - show your card and they raise gate. If staff are busy checking people in, you may have to wait. Could be automated as in other parks but probably a matter of $$ to implement. - DCM/JMB

Nice view of the river and reservoir. Nice walking path. Quiet park - lots of people going for leisurely walks. Nice playground for the kids. Washrooms were close and clean. Showers cost 25 cents for 4 minutes. Would have enjoyed a bit more shade or privacy, but sites were quite accessible. Pull-through sites available. Park locks down at night, lights out at 11 PM! Would stay here again if passing through. Pet-friendly. Paid Wi-Fi available. - Liz410

Well run park with approximately 50% seasonals but lots of nice sites for visitors. Site spacing is good, pads are level and many sites have views of the St Laurence River looking East. Wi-Fi is excellent but there is a $5 per day charge. Should be included for the daily rate of $36. It seems that most sites do not have shared connection posts quite common on the Gaspe. Another positive is that I did not see any side-by-side hookups. Other than a teenager at the check-in kiosk, nobody speaks English. This could make it difficult for some who speak no French. Would stay here again. - exportman
May 2017 - $53.00
Lovely setting, on the St. Laurence. 3-service (water, electric, sewer) sites are small but clean and well maintained. Bathrooms very clean but small and only one male, one female for 20 or so sites. Staff is friendly and helpful. - DachaDad

This campsite was located on the lovely island of Ile d'Orleans. It was rated in Camping Quebec as 5 stars, and was advertised as being the only 5 star campground in all of Quebec. We had very high hopes in going there. The website shows lovely, bucolic pictures of the river. We requested a 50 amp site. There are only 3 50 amp sites in the entire campground, and none of them are more than 40 feet long. When most campers that need 50 amps are big rigs, that makes no sense. The 50 amp sites were also at the entry to the campground, away from the bucolic views of the river. The firepit was squeezed into an area next to trees that was so tight, that we couldn't fit everyone around it. There was WIFI, but it didn't reach to our campsite. There was no TV, and the showers were $1/8 minutes. We were expecting so much more from this 5 star campground. - blgoconnor
Aug 2018 - $35.00
Overnight stay on our way back from PEI. Check-in was fast (had reservations), staff was nice. As this was just an overnight stay we did not use any amenities. We had a pull through site, which was long and wide enough we didn't have to disconnect. Site was level, didn't need any blocks. Hookups were well maintained and identified. A previous camper had left its locked padlock on the electrical box so I had to lock my EMS unit to the post coming up the ground. As campground is located in a municipal park which also has municipal pool, baseball diamond, etc, the garbage/recycling is actually located outside campground but within the municipal park (5-minute walk). Inner roads were easy to navigate and well maintained. For an overnight stay, we would camp here again. - Merveilleuse
Jul 2017 - $45.00
The transient area is not the biggest, reserve in advance; most of the sites are long time Quebec residents but no big park models. The sites in this area are tight but the views are fantastic of the St Lawrence river. Wifi sucked (as about 99% of parks in North America!), connections are all good. Brush up on your French if you're from the USA or Western Canada! Not much preparation as we had to move 4 picnic tables out of the way to get into our spot. - North America in 90 days
Jul 2008 - $34.00
Camped in 45 foot motor home in Site 108. Easy access 1 block north of 132. Interior roads and sites are gravel. Transient sites available with or with out shade. Most sites have great view of St. Lawrence River. Sites equipped with fire ring and picnic table. Office staff very friendly. Our site 108 had a great view of the river and was very open. The park is waling distance to maritime museum, beautiful church, and restaurants. - eaglessoc
Jul 2010 - $23.00
This is an ok park. The electric is poor with a large voltage drop when using the air conditioner. Has level grassy sites. The water is not to be used for drinking. We would not use this park again. - corky506
Sep 2013 - $46.00
Great please to get away from it all. Camp out in the woods if you want. Lots of hiking and mountain biking trails. Big sites well separated from others. - mjtesky
