I enjoyed this campground mostly for really feeling like you were camping, not packed in on top of each other. No amenities, but we did not need or want any. Full hookups. Quiet. - PamelaA
Sep 2018 - $30.00
This is the nicest campground we have stayed. We were there a week and enjoyed every moment. The purpose of our stay was to research potential living areas in the Anderson/Greenville vicinity, and Ivy Acres is centrally located. We had an internal electrical problem in our travel trailer and the owners of Ivy Acres were nice enough to loan us a heavy duty electrical cord to help us through our electrical dilemma. - Michaelg
Jul 2018 - $35.00
It should be noted that this is a 45 year plus park, and there is no bathroom or shower facilities provided. The campground is a country farm setting. The sites are gravel, the hookups worked fine. The WiFi is spotty. This is a very quiet park, with walking trails around the large property. It actually is a very nice place for visiting Greenville with easy access, even though it really doesn't appear like it on arriving. Several food places and services a short distance north in Powdersville. Don't waste your time in Piedmont, not much there. The park itself is kept well maintained even though you seldom see staff after checkin, which is not a bad thing. We would stay here again while in this area. - Randoni

This was a very nice park if you like old-time camping. Very rustic, big trees, mulched roadways. It was very quiet with a beautiful view of the lake with the marina directly across the lake. One of the best sunsets over a lake I've ever seen. - Road Hopper

The campground is convenient to downtown Greenville and the WiFi was good. The site was not particularly level so we had to try a couple of times -still didn't get quite there. This is an older campground with gravel sites and no other amenities. There seem to be several permanent residents, but overall the place is pretty clean. Good for an overnight stop. - AvalonDF41
Jul 2018 - $36.00
checked in on a sunday, no one there but they left detailed info on which site to use, very easy, no problems. The site was level, and most of the other site looked equally level. There are many full timers here but the place is kept pretty clean and tidy with plenty of shade trees. wifi worked well and we got a few stations on the TV. The place is about 10 miles from downtown Greenville. There is a train, we heard it once, they say it passes thru 3-5 times a week. Easy access to the camp and when we did meet management they were helpful and friendly. We liked the place. - Gerry9
Jun 2018 - $35.00
The park has new managers. That's good. A great deal of work is currently underway to upgrade the park. Much has been done and much more is planned. Given a little time this will transform into an excellent park. - Motorhome Traveler

First time camping with our travel trailer and not too far from home. We have a son with special needs so this is our way to get out of the house with him. We got a deluxe pull-thru site and it was great! Not a huge place but worked great for us. Owners/Managers were very accommodating and understood our needs with our son. Visited our site and made sure we were OK. Entrance club house / game room needs to be cleaned up, which we read from previous reviews, but that didn't stop us, nor stop us from staying again. It was overcast so we didn't swim. We went fishing at Hartwell Lake instead for a while. All camping neighbors were great! - RVing For Russell
Jun 2018 - $38.00
We used this campground as a stopover on our way to Charlotte after getting stuck in horrible Atlanta traffic. The had just one site available when we pulled in, a P/T W/E site. The site was gravel, fairly level and plenty long enough for our little unit, though a larger rig would have trouble. Water and electric worked as expected and were centrally placed. Check-in was easy, the pleasant woman, who was also the owner, had no trouble looking up my KOA membership, and recommended an excellent restaurant just down the road. Shower house was clean and had some updates, well stocked, and had plenty of hot water. Overall the park was a good stopover point for us. - Cyclonic
Apr 2018 - $45.00
Great trees. Rustic. Very convenient off the interstate. It's an older KOA with not well maintained buildings and picnic tables which are very old and green with moss. It doesn't live up to its potential. It just needs an investment to bring it up to a nicer level. If you have a long 5th wheel, you just have to watch the turns as the trees are a little close - but swing wide and it's ok. - Steve Vanleigh 375FL

Nightly rate is $26.00. With America the Beautiful Senior Pass rate is $13.00. This is a Corp of Engineer Campground and is very well maintained and clean. Dump station is excellent and you have the ability to dump in either direction. Campground is very quite and sites are located on the lake waterfront. Sites are spacious and nicely spaced. Our site was a back-in and was level. Bathhouse are cleaned twice a day with plenty of hot water for showers. We stayed for seven(7) nights and enjoyed the experience. We would highly recommend this facility. Other reviews mentioned an "Ant" problem, we experienced no such problem. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast and efficient. We will visit again in the future. - Paythebill
Oct 2017 - $13.00
This is a very nice COE park with most sites directly on the lake. We've camped here for years and always find it enjoyable. Yes there are ants in the warm months, but come prepared with some type of bait and you'll be fine. This is a fully wooded park with most sites spaced far apart and fairly level. You'll have a problem with satellite reception, though it's not impossible to find a site that's suitable. The roads are paved and make for an enjoyable bike ride. Our Verizon reception was alright, unlike an earlier review. There is no cable or Wifi, but the lake makes up for that with a nice quiet location. - Hands For Him
Oct 2017 - $13.00
This campground has the best sites on this lake. Most of the sites are large and a large percentage of them are on the lake and have awesome views. We enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets. You are about 10 minutes from groceries. The only drawback in this campground are the ants. Be prepared with your ajax or whatever you use for ants. if you deal with properly then it is no big deal. This campground is worth it even with the ants. - myo

We stayed at Sadler's Creek State Park in a 40 ft fifth wheel. The sites were pretty close together, but the lake view was amazing. Our size RV wouldn't fit anywhere except in loop 1. We couldn't use the dump station because our fifth wheel was too big and there was no easy way in and out. Make sure you check out the dump station without the trailer attached if you plan to try it! The guy that checked us in was great! We arrived late, so he came by after hours to get us checked in. He even went back to the office to get us firewood and stamp our passport books! - Twintravelers
Nov 2014 - $0.00
I stayed here for 4 nights, super tight to get a 40' pusher around, but camp site and area was extremely clean and a nice area. Met a couple of good people while there. Two issues, the first not really an issue, but there wasn't a camp host, but I really didn't need them anyway. Second was that when setting up the reservation, and on the wall of the office for all to view, it was made to make you think the park was pretty full, it was not.....or people made reservations and never showed. I'm saying this to say this....sometimes it's nice to not have anyone around you, and other times it's nice to have a crowd. Advertise accordingly. Other than this, I'll go back..... - gsc66
Oct 2013 - $30.00
This is a beautiful piece of real estate. As an RV campground, it is very basic. No septic and no 50 amps. There are several camping loops with dirt RV pads arranged in a circle. Many spots have lovely views of the lake (Hartwell). There are lots of mosquitoes, lots of deer and lots of guys drinking beer (there is a no-alcohol rule but no one pays any attention). It is far from the interstate for an overnight stop, but it is very scenic. - virginianola

The rate is based on monthly rate over 28 days. This is a small park. Is combo marina and RV park. New owners of marina added RV park. RV section is a circle on top of a tall hill overlooking Hartwell Lake. Very roomy sites. Combo gravel and grass. The view is what makes this park great. Nice people good unsecured wifi. All sites are back in and located in a semi circle. No problem parking if park is not full. - destination

We didn't know what to expect as the drive to the property was not very attractive. Unkept homes, trailers, etc. Once we got there, we found that The property was well kept. The lots were a bit close but tolerable and the Laundry room and restrooms were fine. We stayed there close to one month (paid monthly rate), leaving a few days before the end of our term. The only problem I had was with a permanent tenant. This same tenant also was the cause of another monthly visitor leaving prior to the end of her paid stay. Management needs to look into this tenant and vacate her as she will most likely cost them a lot of business. Otherwise, everyone else I met was friendly and polite. The management was quick to respond to our needs during our stay. - Roadsaavy
May 2017 - $31.00
Due to an incorrect address, we ended up at this park. It has a similar name to another park. Staff was super nice in helping us get the address we needed and we went on our way. To turn around, we had to drive through the park. The spots seemed level, but a bit close together. The interior roads are paved and easy to maneuver. It is easy on and off I-85. We will have to come back and stay. - esta34950

First time to camp here but won't be our last. Beautiful lake view on many of the sites. Entire campground was SO clean and well kept. Staff could not have been friendlier! sites are mostly level unless rated for a smaller RV. I highly recommend this campground! - ScoobyD
