Beautiful lake with one mile walking path. Quiet, well kept park. About 15 miles from beach areas of coastal South Carolina. Very spacious sites, well laid out campground. Nice pool and beach which closes after Labor Day. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We have been staying at this campground since 2008 and never had a serious complaint. Our most recent stay was just as pleasant. They have completed quite a few upgrades to the place. The staff is just as friendly as ever and very helpful. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Our favorite restaurant in the area close to Willow Tree is Chris's Pizza, he serves a New York style pizza and it is very good. They have cold drinks and all of the food we have tried is great. We also like getting up in the mornings and drinking our coffee on the patio looking out on the lake. It is very tranquil and one of those Norman Rockwell moments.

Overall Rating:

This was our first time at this resort. We had 5th Wheel plus golf cart & F250 truck that fit on site very well. We stayed on the buddy sites 64 & 65. Site 64 was longer so our friends stayed on it with their 5th wheel which was approximately 40' with F250 dually with plenty of room. Pool/Hot tub was nice but the lake is gorgeous. Catch & release fishing, kayaking & roped off swim area with sandy area for sunbathing. Love that it was paved throughout campground and around lake which is great for biking or walking. Enjoyed pancake breakfast on sunday $3.00. Staff friendly and eager to answer your questions. Can't wait to return. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We attended an RV rally at this "resort." Generally, the park is clean and well kept. The sites are some of the largest sites we've experienced in our travels. The park is pet friendly and because of the size of their sites, its very comfortable for pets too. My one complaint is that this is the first "resort" that we've stayed in that did offer cable. TV antenna reception is not the best. Resort does allow any type of mat on the grass, however when the poured the patios they stopped the concrete in a manner that made us have to step in the grass every time we entered or left our MH. Thus in our case it would have been nice to have a door mat to keep the grass out of the MH. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Absolutely love this CG, hate the thought of leaving it. Grounds are very clean, the lots are bigger than I have ever seen. The park can be full and you would never know it. We have been eyeing the Park Models for retirement. I gave it a 9 only because I would like to see a dog park, it is really a 9.8 in my book. Overall Rating:

We were fortunate to get a week here for the first leg of our trip and what a place to stay. The sites are well maintained, large, easy to access, and include full hookups as well as a picnic table. The staff has been fantastic too. Trash is picked up daily at your site. There are paved bike, walking, or golf cart trails and all are in good shape. The camp is full of snowbirds on their six month escapes so the park is amazingly quiet. Having left the edge of the polar vortex in Virginia with single digit temps the weather has been perfect with temps ranging from the mid 70s to low 60s. Only clear skies and sun - what a blessing!! There is truly nothing more I could ask for here and would recommend it to anyone. We look forward to returning. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

I was here Jan thru Mar 2019. Entrance is gated with a security code. Roads and sites are paved macadam. Long enough for vehicle, plenty of space between sites. Lake with paved walk around it. Fishing, swimming area. Outdoor pool, hot tub. (pool was closed this time of year). Level, easy to pull through, level, and room for my truck. If you have two sewer lines make sure you get the right spacing, don't want to come up short like l did and didn't notice till l was already leveled and disconnected. I was okay just bought some more hose L. O. L.! Small game room with pool table, and ping pong table, some tables, and chairs for games, or hanging out. Shuffle board, horse shoes, basketball. I found an area l could smack some golf balls. Community building with kitchen, tables, chairs, drop down screen. Registration with some supply's, souvenirs, coffee, drinks, snacks, fire wood. It was close to a public beach, Cherry Grove. ( 11 miles ). ( 3 miles to gas and grocery's ) Staff and management were fantastic ! Cons: l would have like some planed activity's by the staff. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of our top two RV resorts we have stayed at, and we have stayed at over 75 RV resorts. The streets are all paved as well as the RV spots, and the pull thrus are very long, and you could park your 42' 5th wheel and your 22' long truck on each end and still have plenty of room. Plus there are lots of trees, and there is grass between spots and the spots are very far apart. Plus each spot has a 20 x 20' concrete patio with picnic table fire ring and BBQ. The lake and the pool and office buildings all look excellent. There is absolutely no traffic noise etc. I could not give this place a 9.6 so I gave it a 10. The wifi was a little spotty but good when it was working. That is the only thing I could think of to knock it off from being a solid 10. We were in Site # 31. We went to Myrtle Beach and did the Boardwalk. We also went to Sunset Beach in NC. We also went to a real fun winery that has lots of live entertainment called La Belle Aime. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park, in my opinion, is one of the best parks we have stayed in. The check-in is quick and efficient. The pool and lake area are both top notch. The bath house is excellent with individual locking bath/shower rooms. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, we rented a beach house in Garden City Beach, SC... We stored our trailer on site, they moved our trailer to their storage area and moved it back when we returned for a $1.50 per day in storage. Hard to beat that service. Tips for other Campers:

Staying here gives you excellent access to North Myrtle Beach and all the shows and Restaurant Row where all the best restaurants are, be sure to go to the Original Benjamin's (next to the restaurant with the giant crab on the roof) and Preston's, these are the two best and if you like crab legs, then go to Original Benjamin's for All you can eat crab legs, best in Myrtle Beach! Preston's is beyond excellent! Be sure to spend a day at Carolina Landing, you will love that!

A beautiful campground with large well-spaced sites; one of the nicer commercial campgrounds that we have stayed at. We particularly enjoyed our lake front site and the mile long walking trail that circles the lake. A very peaceful and relaxing campground. Also, we were told by neighbors that the park upgraded their Wifi in 2017 - we thought the upgraded free Wifi worked well (i.e., the same or better than other campgrounds). Most sites are big rig friendly. [$29 Daily rate listed was the monthly off-season rate, before taxes or electric usage charges.] We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

First stay here. Very spacious sites for a private campground and quiet at night. Clean restrooms and showers. Site surface was a concrete pad and featured a fire ring, picnic table and patio.

We brought our dog so the trail around the lake was perfect for walks. Great place to stay if you want to be near the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle. Took us about 15 minutes to drive to the beach area. Enjoyed some great seafood in Calabash. We camped at Willow Tree Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

A lovely park that is kept extrememly clean, maintained by a marvelous staff. The lake and grounds are very nice.
