We stayed here 3 nights. Since it was January, the park was not very full and that probably helped with my rating. I expect that I would not like staying here in summertime as it would be too busy. The sites are not as close together as many KOAs and the park does have a woodsy feel. There are plenty of staff on hand and they were helpful. Bathhouses had plenty of toilets and showers and were kept clean. The park is close to Myrtle Beach as well as many grocery stores, Walmart, etc. There is also a small camp store on site. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice KOA a block or two from the beach. They have a golf cart shuttle that runs to the beach, but it's a short walk. Decent, level sites. Good shade in our section. Good hookups. Nice pool. Really cool model train village by the pool. Playgrounds. Jumping pillow. Stuff to do for the kids. We stayed here two nights on our way south, so we could have a full day at the beach. Very decent place to spend a couple of days. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Great KOA with a ton of family related amenities. The park has the standard amenities along with a nice pool, splash pool, nightly kid "worm train", jumpy, bike rentals, etc., etc. The park is large but it still feels like you are camping due to the dense trees. The sites are gravel/dirt, but mostly flat. They are long enough to handle big rigs and to park a tow. The downside was their wifi did not work for us. We would stay here again if we visited the Myrtle Beach area in the future. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

Very expensive. We were in the tent loop. I reserved on line. Site listed as water and electric without sewer or cable. TV useless, tengo internet very slow and dropped connection frequently. Advertised as two blocks from ocean, but they don't say it is on the wrong side of a very busy divided highway US17. Dangerous to cross on foot, no traffic or walk lights. This is a deceptive claim IMO. I wouldnt stay here again. Finally when leaving I drove to the propane fill. It was beginning a light rain. The worker refused to vend propane. He told me it was against the law to vend propane in the rain. I know this to be untrue as a family member drives a propane truck and works rain or shine. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

Park is located within a couple of blocks from the Beach, near a large amusement park, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Sites are well cared for and normal space between RVs. Very nice and friendly staff with a camp store, snack bar, kiddie train, and bounce area. Would stay again. There is also an additional $5.00 / night resort fee. Some sites a paved with concrete pads, and others are gravel. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

This was our second time here and they made a few nice changes. The Park was cleaned up a lot since our visit last year (Hurricane). Deluxe patio sites were added, including hammocks, grills and nice patio furniture. We may book a deluxe site next time! It was a little difficult making reservations but that was because their phones were busy. They also charge an extra $5 a day "Resort fee" which they say is for the "free" pancake breakfast. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Interior roads are a little tight somewhat. This is caused by campers not getting off the road. Speed limit is 10 miles an hour but we observed maybe one in ten observing it. Sites will be tight for anything longer than 40' feet. Entrance is not clearly marked. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

A great park for RVers. Best amenities we've ever seen at a KOA (and we've seen many). Great location in MB. KOA got a lot right about this park! Sites pretty level. Wooded with high canopy for great shade in this blazing hot in summer beach town! Worth paying for that! I'd have given a 10 rating if pads were paved. Dog park is a bit out of the way and a bit hard to access. No grass for the doggies . Pull thru site size is good, but length is tight if 40' with a toad. Awesome Cable- typical overloaded and intermittent RV Park wifi. Extra charge for amenities and dogs is a bummer. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground. Our site was reasonably level and well shaded. The staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful and we were escorted to our site. We were in town visiting old friends, but unbeknownst to me, Bike Week is going on here in Myrtle Beach. Most of the associated noise was farther south though. Utilities were adequate. Water pressure was good. Cable TV worked well. Sewer port was clean and accessible. The electric service, however, was lacking. The line voltage was very low, causing me to have to use my low voltage transformer or risk unnecessary wear and tear on my air conditioning. The Wifi (Tengo Net) was deplorable. Good signal strength, but VERY low throughout, making the system virtually unusable. Not unexpected. I generally cringe when I here a campground has Tengo Net. There was some construction going on in the park, but the staff managed it well, keeping most campers sited away from the noise and dust. My biggest issue was with the price here. Yes, it's summertime at the beach, but for a campground that isn't really on the beach, $80 a night is kinda steep in my humble opinion. For this reason we probably will look elsewhere if we're in town again. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Overall we enjoyed this park. We thought it was a little on the pricy side but would stay again. Wifi reception was good, cell service was good. The workers were very active always driving around and always available to help. Really nice folks running this campground here. We had a water lot which is really just a little swath and did some fishing. My only complaint was we got woken up one morning at 7am by work trucks building their new little RV area. I wish they would of waited until 8 or so that wednesday morning. We heard around the campground multiple really positive comments about the owners of this campground. They really seem to care and want to take care of people. I really like the owners/staff here. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice campgrounds, pool, splash pad, lake w/ducks. Good cell service, wifi and cable. We called the office to ask about a fire ring and they brought one to our site. KOA store at entrance with a few items you may need or souvenirs. You can rent peddle carts and golf carts. We would go back to this KOA again! We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Rented cabin K80 w/out bath. Comfy, clean & sufficient. Plenty of fun things for kids but the rest of the park was just OK. Camper sites are small & close together. I would advise against using the smaller bathhouses by the cabins. They're seriously disgusting. I literally gagged when I walked in. Musty, humid, no a/c, moldy shower doors. Would've given more stars if the bathhouses had been clean. Other KOA's have exceeded our expectations. This one did not. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Can't wait to go back! So much to do and so much fun. The campers are close but we didn't go there to spend time at the camper, we went for the ocean. The location is awesome compared to the ocean. There are so many things to see and do that you wont spend a lot of time at the camper so the density of the park is not really an issue. If you want to be close to the beach this is the campground for you. We camped at Myrtle Beach KOA in a Motorhome.
