We stay here in a 40' fifthwheel camper. The sites are angled so we had no problem getting in or out. Most sites looked to be pull through. Close to the beach and lots of amenities. Indoor and outdoor pools, store. We enjoyed our stay here and plan to go again. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in lot 513 and had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect for us. Our kids could walk to the store; pool; pavilion; friends camper; and rode bikes. They were safe and very happy. The food at the pool was very tasty and well priced. Stay was nice and polite. We stayed for 7 nights because our daughter played in the WFC World Series Softball Tournament, which was located only 7 miles down the road. All around great stay and vacation. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here due to some good reviews. Unfortunately we didn't have the same great experience. The park was right on the beach and the pool was nice. Now to the not so good parts, the site was terrible! We expect to have rain on our vacation but we did not expect our site to be underwater during our entire stay. The site was not level and nothing but mud. When we contacted them they offered to move us and they said they knew it was a wet site. Why would you continue to put people on a site you knew flooded. The park was empty which left me to wonder about why they did this and why it was emply during peak season. The Wifi and TV are terrible, no signal and the tv continued to go in and out. Speed limit signs were posted, but they were not required for the workers and the residence. Lots of dog messes and no clean up stations or dog area. There are other campgrounds in myrtle beach, I would recommend this one as a last resort. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this park many times throughout the years. Awesome activities for kids and adults alike, great arcade, two restaurants on site, friendly staff and very clean park that is constantly updating/improving. It’s quiet and relaxed in the evenings and fun for everyone during the day. If you love the crowded RV parks, “Hollywood campers” and golf carts whizzing around everywhere like you get at other parks, this is not your place. If you like a more laid back, simple camping time with your family, give it a try. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nearby shopping is amazing, outlets, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Kirkland’s etc all less than 5 min away. Great restaurant Bimini’s less than 5 minutes away good happy hour and fresh seafood/live band. Go early it was packed and a locals secret.

Nice park on the beach. Speed limit is 10 mph in the campground. The biggest offenders of this were the trucks that brought in and picked up RVs AND the personnel working for the campground. There were small children playing in the areas but that didn't seem to have much effect on the drivers speed. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Typical beachie campground in which packing them in is the norm. Other than that, this is a nice and well run CG. Security Guard at the gate that cheeks for your hang tag, pretty much everything you want or need can be bought on site. No fire rings but you can use your own fire bowl. Ocean side camp sites have no shade but you are close to the beach. We opted for a shady site that was a five minute walk to the beach. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Initial impressions of RV parks are similar to those when meeting new people. Certain things cause one to form a quick opinion. In the case of this park, our impression was highly negative since before we even finished setting up we had to pick up six piles of cat manure. Never park anywhere near the park models in this facility! There are feral cats running everywhere. We saw eight at one time near our rig. Since this park is all sand, the cats use the area as one giant litter box. Every morning the process starts over again since there are so many cats running loose. The entire area around our site is like a minefield of cat crap. This park has very strict rules for dog owners but when I notified the park in writing of my dissatisfaction with the cats there was absolutely no response from management. Residents in the park models feed them every day and there was no evidence of any trapping and removal activity. It's difficult if not impossible to keep from tracking cat waste into the RV. There's no doubt that if I had let my dogs run loose and not pickup after them I would have been contacted and maybe asked to leave the park. Serious double standard here. Cable was defective and never fixed during our two week stay. Had to back out because of table shelter and very narrow road in front. While there are several positives things we could say about this park, we will forego these comments since we will not be returning. There are better parks in the area with cement pads, nicer facilities and better amenities in the Myrtle Beach area. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our time here and loved the beach being mere steps from our RV. With that said, there is sand - and lots of it! It is beach camping, after all - so be prepared to sweep every day. The roads and sites are hard-packed sand too. We stayed for 41 days and spent time on the beach nearly every day - LOVED that. While we loved it during late Sept and October - I'm not so sure I would like it during the summer. The sites are VERY close together and when it filled up on the weekends it was a bit claustrophobic for us. But we would certainly stay again in the spring or fall. Every site also has a cute little wooden cabana that adds to your living space. The park also has an outdoor pool with a lazy river, a nice indoor pool, an excellent general store and lots of activities. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice RV park with great amenities. The only problem is the wi-fi is poor. It would not stay connected to my phone - kept switching back to cellular data all the time. When I was unhooking and hooking up, I was blocking the road. As far as space, the park has sufficient space to park two vehicles easily along the side of the camper. Overall Rating:

If you are looking for beach, this is a great campground. It is also a campground that provides facilities and activities attractive young people and some for older people. It is a large facility with nearly a half mile of beach front. Many of the sites have 50-amp full-hookups. The sites are not classy, but they are functional. The hard sand surfaces work as a surface for your rv but inevitably result in sand inside your home. We are motorhomers so did not pay much attention to the camping and smaller unit sites, but they appeared to be serviceable. There are a large number of park models in the wooded lake area behind the beach front section. We had AT&T service and a clear view for satellite reception. Power, sewer and water services were all good. There are a number of strategically located shower/restroom facilities that are modern and well maintained. A breakfast restaurant is located on the beachfront and, of course, there are copious numbers of eatery in the surrounding area. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.
