Jun 2019 - $24.00
The campsites are paved and clean. However some leveling was needed on the travel trailer. There are some beautiful camp sites on the lake. We camped at site 71 which was really nice. The water pressure is low but adequate. There are nice trails to hike and the lake water appears to be clear and clean. Nearest large town is Greenwood SC where you can find restaurants and shopping. Plan to visit the town of Ninety-six and the historical battlefield. Over all, it is a really nice park and we plan to return. - SC Campers
May 2019 - $29.00
We stayed here for 4 days to visit family in the Anderson area. Location is convenient to everything but not right in town, so still a great camping location. Greenwood is right around the corner and has everything! We camped in spot 32 with a 36' fifth wheel.... the view was fantastic, asphalt site, almost level, overall great.... but word of caution, it took 4 people to help get our camper in the spot, it is at a slant with two big trees on each side so missing those was a job! I'm an experienced camper and drove large trucks most of my career so even with lots of experience this was a trick :) Thank goodness for great campers who were willing to assist!! Some campgrounds spots are a little tight so research good prior to pulling a big rig in - its doable just challenging Happy Camping. - rbrown5305
Jan 2019 - $30.00
We stay here multiple times a year. We love it in the winter the most. The campground is pretty much empty and the weather has been pretty good. The place is quiet, clean and pretty. Friendly staff always ready with a wave as they pass by. - CampsiteFlags

Stayed in Campground 1. Beautiful and quiet setting, facilities were clean. Ran into the camp host as they were cleaning. Very picturesque setting. My cousin, who lives in the area, says the fishing in the lake is pretty good, too. - ThorHurricane
Sep 2016 - $26.00
We stayed in Campground 1. Many of the sites sit by the lake or have a lake view. Ours did not mainly because we are a long motorhome and the majority of spots could not accommodate our rig. Campground #1 now has full hookups on about 1/3 of their sites, which is a great improvement. Before we booked a site, we rode through the park to see of the available spots, which ones could accommodate our rig. We chose site 100 which worked very well; however, our satellite did not work at all on top of the rig. One needs a tripod so that one can manually move the dish to an appropriate spot. We had a good time and everyone is very nice. Also, the rangers are very visible making constant trips throughout the campground. - leciel19
Jun 2016 - $24.00
EXTREMELY crowded with LOTS of kids, dogs, smokers, loud cars (engines AND music). We arrived on a Tuesday and we were REALLY surprised at how busy it is!
The lake is really pretty and so is the park leading up to the campground. But then it becomes a different world. Even the camp host's site was cluttered with a lot of "stuff" outside and it's the first site you see when you enter the loop! There are apparently no rules with regard to hanging clotheslines etc. to hang ALL kinds of stuff on, which gives this place a little bit more of a down-home, backwoods feel then we were hoping for.
I think that the biggest thing that bugged me was the lack of cleanup between us and the campers that were in our site before us. We found a whole SLEW of watermelon rinds, beer bottle caps, cigarette butts and....wait for it..... PILES and PILES of DOG POOP in our site. And while I feel like the campers should cleanup after themselves.... if they don't.... then it's the park's responsibility to do it!
Definitely won't be back, but not bad enough to leave early :) - doggpurr

We stayed here because of the two 5 star ratings ... they were wrong. Nice people who run the place, but the mostly permanent residents kept their places surrounded by junk. I won't go back. Repeating myself, nice folks running the place but it is a mess. Below average IMO. These reviews are supposed to allow us to help each other and the two people who gave this place top reviews have done a disservice to the rest of us. - Ron N Janice

We passed through this area of South Carolina just as the Spring Break / Camping Season kicked into high gear. Very few RV Parks / Campgrounds even had an opening. The friendly folks at Moon Landing stepped up and offered us a spot. Moon Landing (and its associated parks) cater predominantly to the 'Seasonal' or Weekend Camper / Boater as many of their parks sit right on Lake Greenwood. The various properties come complete with all the amenities one would expect from High Priced 'Destination Campgrounds' - but the Moon Landing folks provided their brand of Cadillac Service at a Pick Up Truck Price. With only 5 spots in our area, we had plenty of room to walk around and very little traffic. Our spots came with Free WiFi - which Moon Landing upgraded during our stay when one of the campers suggested how to improve the signal. While we never experienced any issue with the WiFi, we felt their prompt attention to a potential problem warranted mention here. Another benefit of staying with Moon Landing RV Park is they provide FREE firewood for the campfires. When our plans changed, and we decided to depart a few days earlier than anticipated, Moon Landing, unsolicited, provided us a rebate for the unused portion of our stay! Amazing. We'd definitely stay here again. - Todd and Heather
Dec 2016 - $12.00
What a sweet campground!! Clean, quiet, peaceful, & run by some very friendly folks. It's located on Lake Greenwood & there are such beautiful sights to see when the sun is rising over the water. My only regret is that we were only able to stay for 2 weeks. - hippichik

Sep 2019 - $59.00
Beautiful terraced sites overlooking Lake Greenwood. Sites were relatively large and very well landscaped. Staff was great to work with. Spotty WiFi and no cable service provided. Very quiet and remote area. Not the most dog-friendly Park as it doesn't have much private green space to keep pets away from owned and rented lots. - Eagles Fan
Sep 2019 - $70.00
Nice resort, well taken care of and very clean. Easy for 45' coach to maneuver. Little or no shade so very hot in summer. Nice Lake view and Lake side lots. - Jimandellen
Aug 2018 - $69.00
Grounds were wonderful. Most sites have a view of the lake as the sites are tiered. Roads are wide. Site #79 was spacious. It an an outdoor kitchen with a fireplace and BBQ. Pool and clubhouse are very nice. Not a ton to do in the area outside the park but if you are looking to kick back and relax, this is the place to be. We would definitely return to this park. - SCYurkins

Another jewell in a rural setting not far from Greenwood lake. Just off a country road so no noise, but your neighbors and they are 30-40 feet away. Very large level gravel sites. - Seawolf
Jun 2007 - $20.00
This is a nice small park located within 1 mile of Lake Greenwood. The park is an easy drive from I-26 and is 25 miles from Greenwood, SC. Sites are long, so they can handle any rig. View from our windshield was to a large field with scattered trees, Very nice! Back in lots are great. Every lot has 50 amp, water & sewer. Owner/Manager is great. I was on lot #6 and I got satellite no problem. Crazy Parrot @ T-Roys Marina is 1/4 mile away and the food is great! They also have boat access. - Freightguy

I don't know WHY this is called a "Resort." They have a SMALL pool BUT you have to PAY $5 per person to go in, even if you are a camper. I could understand charging someone who comes in and just wants to swim in the pool BUT charging someone who has already paid for a camping space?? Also, they put us on a grassy area with no sewer hook up and right next to what looked like a swamp. My wife and I sat outside watching for aligators because it looked like the perfect place for them. They told us we could use the dump station on the way out. Okay fine not the first time we've done that. The dump station IS on your way out BUT it's on the WRONG side for most EVERY RV I've seen. The ONLY way I could have made it work was to try to get the sewer hose under the trailer. The store they have is minimal at best. They have LOTS of fishing items, of course being on the river, but just the barest of necessities for everyday. The staff we talked to were friendly. The men's shower was clean but my wife said the women's wasn't AND they are VERY DATED. I don't believe we'll be back. They DON'T have a laundry nor WiFi. I didn't see a playground for children. I STILL don't understand why they call it a resort, because it is JUST a campground with the BASICS and you have to PAY to go into the pool. They don't have a dog park so the locals, seasonals, and some that looked like they lived there full time, just let their dogs out to go anywhere and do anything without ANY clean-up or regard for the transient campers. They seemed friendly though. So if you have the misfortune of having to stay here because of the low Passport America discount cost, beware it is NOT A RESORT. - powwowron

They have great fishing. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They have a nice store for your convenience. There is a dump station. - Kayla-69_

Nov 2019 - $55.00
Nice small campground right of 26. Easy of and on access for my 44 foot coach. Campground is very clean with level gravel sites the majority of which were pull thru. The folks that helped me check in were very friendly. Nice fenced in area to let dogs run around. - kirk Foster
Oct 2019 - $30.00
This is my second time at Magnolia RV. The sites are fairly spacious, gravel, and many are pull thru. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. I camped with a group both times and the host went out of her way to be helpful with several things that were above and beyond what a host would do. - pattieatte
Oct 2019 - $40.00
Some road noise was adequate though. Good wifi. 6 tv stations with antenna. Nice pool and laundry. - Maltaman
