A peaceful, woodsy setting not too far from I-26 made this a great 3 day stay to visit family near Spartanburg. Family owned and owners welcoming and helpful with suggestions on needed services. Dog park and pool right behind our site. Road leading to site narrow. There is a pond with ducks to relax and enjoy. Only drawbacks was site not level. Had to build up with blocks. No cable. Trailers scattered through park not very appealing but maybe "grandfathered in." We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

We hope you will choose us again when you are visiting family in the area. We are in the foothills, call ahead & we will try our best to make sure you have a level site for your camper. We are very selective with our monthly campers, not sure what you are referring to by "grandfathered in." We do not have permanent campers. Sometimes people that are camping with us for the week or weekend may have an older model camper. We are proud to serve all types of campers. We have come such a long way in the last 7 years with our campground & again we are VERY selective with our monthlies.

I would give this park a higher rating if it wasn't so far off the interstate and if the road leading to the CG wasn't so narrow. The interior road was a little tight to get into our space. It has plenty for the kids to do: pool, jump pad, playground and fishing pond. There were ducks that visited our site every morning/evening. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This CG was very quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Thanks so much for taking time to review us and we do hope you will return again. We are 2.5 miles off I 26 if you follow our website directions, sometimes other modes of directions take you a longer route, sorry this must have happened to you. We have a newer section right off the road if you would like a pull thru spot in Phase 2 for your next stay. Give us a ring and we can assist you with that overnight stay. Happy Camping!

Good overnight spot just south of Spartanburg. Easy access from I-26. Privately owned and attentive to your needs. Good gravel sites that are fairly level. A small pond is on the property and groups of ducks waddle around the campground - charming! Enjoyed the pool after a long, hot drive. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Very professional, friendly and accommodating staff. We had a premium concrete site, picnic table, fire ring, grill, and rope lighting that overlooked a fishing pond. Very quiet and relaxing park. The road going into the park is a little steep and rough but manageable. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, quiet and the owners made us feel like family. It was shady , lots of trees and we weren't crammed in next to the folks beside us. We will certainly stay with them again on future travels thru the area. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

We have been stopping here for the past five years as we travel from Illinois to the Georgia coast. Owners very helpful and friendly, campground is well maintained. Restrooms very nice, although have never used the showers. Also never used the laundromat so can not speak to that. Utility hookups properly located, sites fairly level but we always have to use a block or two to get the RV fridge level enough. Some sites well shaded some not. Hiking trail in woods we want to try some day, park is back in the woods away from traffic. The park and been recently taken over by the present owners when we first started to come here 5 years ago. They take pride in the park and are always improving it which is one reason we keep coming back. There are lots of long term residents but everyones site is well maintained and folks are friendly and it is quiet at night. Entrance road is a little bumpy and hilly and not up to the quality of the park itself but not a problem to navigate. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Site was paved. There is an outdoor light post in front of each space. The road going into the CG was a bit steep but ok. Could have easily missed the entrance. Look for it, as it appears to be only a driveway. There is a pond with ducks. Being a smaller CG the walk around was short. Leaves left on the ground gave it an unkept look. Several seasonals. There is a pool. The dog park is adequate and had a secure fence especially the bottom part was installed correctly. Owners are terrific and personable. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

What a gem! Nice long big rig sites with concrete pads, good 50 amps, well placed utilities, very clean and quiet. Lots of green open space along with a pond that has ducks and swans. Walking trail in the woods. Personnel were fantastic. I am alone and there was no problem with them helping me back into a level site. Pull thrus also available. Follow their directions to get here from I-26 and it is easy and quick. Definitely a place to return. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

We stopped here for an overnight on our way to Ohio, this is our second stay here. It is off exit 28 of I26. The staff is friendly, the campground is clean and quiet. The water, sewer and 50 amp (117-121 vac) worked well, all connections are in the back of the site. My only problem was the site (#30), a pull-thru was not very level. It was low in the front and to the patio side. So low that I had to us 2x6 blocks under jacks on DS. to get side to side level. Front was too low in front to get level with out pulling the front wheels off ground. Since I couldn't level I did not put our bad slide out. I requested a pull-thru so I didn't have to disconnect the Toad, but with the Toad attached you are limited in adjusting the coach in the site to find a spot a bit more level. Site was Satellite friendly. Last time we stayed here we were put in site 31 and was able to level. We will continue to use Pine Mountain whenever we travel thru this area. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The owners bought this park four years ago and are diligent about keeping it up and providing lots of attention and services for guests. The sites each have a picnic table and fire ring. The sites are a bit close together with Class A and Class C units intermingled. But the park is very peaceful and quiet. There were some snowbirds and other long term residents. Recreation for kids includes a pool, play area, blow-up bounce pad (supervised by the owners) and a small fishing pond. The laundry room was clean and well-equipped with four washers and four dryers ($1.50 each). The restrooms were also very clean. The women's room had four toilet stalls and two shower stalls. Water in the showers was warm enough but I couldn't get it hot. The shower stall configuration is rather odd in that the individual shower/dressing room areas are next to each other so it would be necessary to walk through the dressing area of the neighboring shower in order to exit the bathroom. If someone were using that shower/dressing area you would be obliged to wait until they were finished before you could exit. We found this again on our trip in a state park in Georgia. Beyond that quirky situation, we loved this park and the owners! We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Convenient stopover park from I-26 (about 2.5 miles). A good bit farther from I-85 (about 15 miles). Older section is treed with some sites not so level. Newer section has pull throughs and back ins with nice level concrete pads and open to the satellites. Utilities worked well and were in the right place. Adequate WIFI with our signal amplifier. Stayed here for a overnight stop....staff was very helpful, guided us to our site #33 a pull thru and we didn't have to disconnect the toad...utilities all worked ok, had 50 amp service, water and sewer....site was level and long enough for 36' mh with toad...didn't use bathhouse so I cannot comment on them...not alot of shade and the exit road could be tight if it was a full campground but it's manageable...would stay here again if visiting or passing thru the area.... Mostly excellent mid-size park outside of Spartanburg. The park is a sharp 90 degree turn onto a hard-to-see and rough (paved) road. If you don't have GPS, you will probably miss the turn. Hint: they should put up a bigger sign. Sharp descent and ascent to get into the campground but I don't believe we dragged anything on our 39' coach. I doubt two vehicles could pass each other on some sections of the short entry road. Interior roads are narrow but navigable. Owners are very nice and escorted us to our pull through site which was paved and level. Most sites are open for satellite access. Sites are close together so you will hear your neighbors clearly if they are outside. The WiFi is the biggest black eye - it works OK occasionally but generally was very slow or non-functional. Surprising considering the campground was not particularly full when we were there. The campground is clean and well-maintained. Very quiet too, with it being outside of town. Nothing right by the campground but all kinds of shopping 10 minutes away. Considering the price, I think I can overlook the WiFi (AT&T and Verizon are solid here). I would stay here again. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.
