The park was just off I-95 and easy access. When we were there, the park was having electrical issues which were causing the main breakers to melt therefore resulting in a power outage during the heat of the day. We had to switch over to generator power for a couple of hours each day in order to keep the a/c running which was annoying. The pool looked nice although it was closed while we were there. This is a heavily treed location therefore there is lots of shade for every spot. The spots are VERY close together. - Tyler Sheff

It is an older park, they are trying to improve it. The sites are narrow with gravel in some areas but a lot of mud from a previous rain. They provided cable with only 20 channels, a lot of trees so no satellite. They advertise WiFi but it's only at the office not at the site. ATT was fine, electric and water worked well. - Traveler23

We stayed one night in a 40 foot fifth wheel. The ambiance is true to the name, plenty of towering oaks. Really beautiful. However, sites are very tight and drainage is poor. Virtually all of the sites had standing water. Fine for an overnight but wouldn't want to stay here for long. - Moe and Flo are on the go

Nice park - we had spot with wood patio that included gas fire pit and table and bench. Also had grill and another picnic table and fire ring. Great space - large and private. They have wine tastings everyday at 6:30 in a lovely café. Pool looked nice - decent size. Wooded area with trail to walk the dog. I would definitely stay here again. - Dixies Mom

First visit but we will definitely be back! Very friendly office/store staff. Lovely amenities. Awesome pizza delivered right to your site at reasonable price and toppings are included!! We had the thin crust which was delicious. Site was fairly level and nicely shaded. Only stayed one night - convenience to I-95 is a plus. - Traveling Glebers

Small well kept gem of a campground right off I-95. Staff friendly and welcoming. Wine tasting and beer flights in evenings nice treat. The pizza was good after long day at beach too. They will even deliver to your site. - VA Campers

We havent been here for some years but it is just as handy to 95 and the sites are just as long and wide. 50 amp service is good and cable has lots of stations. There is a crackerbarrel just across from the entrance road and the campground is easy on and off 95 north or south. great overnite stop. The pool was closed for some reason but it sure looked inviting. - we2
Jul 2019 - $30.00
Been camping over 50 years. One of the best I've ever stayed. Immaculate, large pull through sites. Honor system for checking in after hours. Less than mile off 95N. Well marked road. Large area to pull in and then sign myself in to a site. Beautiful tall trees. Clean. Maintained. Low prices. - Jstasonis
May 2019 - $34.00
Nothing special but very convenient/easy on/off of I-95 and fine for a quick overnight stop on the way to someplace else. All sites are pull-thrus, grass, and seemingly can accommodate large rigs with tow vehicles. I-95 traffic noise is the biggest issue. - Flsnowflake
