4 RV Parks near Big Stone City, South Dakota
Aug 2011 - $10.00
This campground is a fairly new start up. They are still working on moving some dirt and installing fire rings. I am working at the power plant nearby till early November and the family that runs this campground is very accommodating around my schedule. They have weekly, monthly and yearly rates available. This campground is also set up to stay open after freezing. They have heat tape on a quarter of their water hook ups. - redlight
Jul 2016 - $50.00
Pool and playground were small but fun for our 7, 11, and 13 yo. Lots of shaded campsite areas, even some grass for our dog. The fire rings were set in the back of the lot which was nice. Very peaceful and tranquil. The mini golf was run down and full of grasshopper sized wasp looking insects. They didn't bite, but swarmed all over the holes. It was nice that you could run a tab in the office - the kids liked the slushies; it was a fun treat. - SillyP605
Jun 2015 - $44.00
Beautiful campground right along Big Stone Lake. We had a lakeside spot but was tight to get into because of a wooden split rail fence. The staff was friendly, accommodating and the campground very well maintained. They gave us a ride in the golf cart to show us the site availability before we registered, to make sure we thought we could fit. This is a family run business and you feel like your business is welcome. Very children friendly campground. They offer many amenities, but if you do not use them or have children to enjoy the accommodations that they provide, the rate is a little steep. - NatureWandering
Jun 2013 - $40.00
Rate is for pull through or lake site. Pull through nicely designed so you do not have to disconnect toad to reach services. Sites are level enough to be comfortable in a motorhome. Guided to site. Plenty of room between sites in pull through area. Three dollars extra for Cable TV. So rate should be $43. - easydoesit
Jul 2018 - $40.00
Very clean, friendly park, some sites on Lake with swimming in lake. Management friendly and helpful. Family owned, boating available, mostly seasonal but some overnight sites some are lake front. Dirt roads well maintained, close to Ortonville, MN, can accommodate larger units. Playground for kids no dump station, all sites have w/e/30/50 amp service - jnmartin
Jun 2014 - $15.00
No, it's not near a rifle range...it's near Shooter's Bar & Grill. Well, it's not really near anything, so it's quiet and peaceful except for the occasional train horn. Just outside town. No pull-throughs, but the sites must be 100' long, spacious and treeless, so even my grandmother could back in with no trouble :) Level, grassy sites and the nicest owner. Mosquitoes can be bad. Price reflects weekly rate. - TheRollingJones
