Overall Rating:

This is a drive-in movie theatre that opens for camping during race weeks. We found ourselves here because the much more expensive camp we were in flooded. The theatre owners have terraced the hillside and installed 20 and 30 amp power taps down 2 separate rows of terrace just behind their snack bar / projection house. They have also installed men's and women's showers in separate buildings on the property. The rest rooms at the snack bar are left open for camper use too. Truthfully, this is one small step above boondocking. The power tap is the only utility available for hookup. There is water available on the property but it is near the men's shower house and requires at least 30 feet of hose to reach from the nearest road. The showers are nicer than I expected. Probably the highlight of our 2 night camp here was our interaction with the owners. You'll not meet nicer people. This isn't a campground where you'll want to plan as a destination for family vacations, but it is one you should consider if you want to attend a NASCAR race. We were able to stay 2 nights here for less than we were refunded for one night flooded out of another nearby campground. This one may not have all the amenities we all love, but nobody will be banging on your camper door telling you need to get out because the water is rising. We camped at Twin Cities Drive In in a Travel Trailer.
