10 RV Parks near Celina, Tennessee
Sep 2018 - $15.00
When we arrived without reservations, we had to wait for 45 minutes because the host was not on premises. Finally, a really nice volunteer researched what sites would be available, returned and escorted us to a site, and got us registered. In all, this took two hours. We are big fans of COE CGs, and this is the first time we have encountered such a situation. If you are the host, you should be on-site doing your job.....that's why you get the free site. - hartk
Jun 2018 - $27.00
Our site was a little tight. The gates are locked right at 10pm so don't be late. There were lots of families there with little one riding bikes everywhere, so it's very family friendly. Bath house was close and clean. - JLHickerson
Jun 2017 - $14.00
Typical COE park - nice layout. Most sites are large and spaced out well. A few sites right on the river are smaller, and spaced closer than those off the river. One exception is site 48 which is very large (although spaced close to others. Sites are generally longer than given on the COE website. Many pull-through sites. In heavy rains, the CG may hold water in places. The trout fish hatchery is adjacent to the campground property and is worth a tour. The tours are unscheduled, but the hatchery is open to visitors between 7:30AM and 3:00PM. The hatchery staff is available to answer questions. Groceries, fuel and a hardware store are 2-3 miles away in Celina. Verizon coverage is 3/5, others non-existent. Fairly heavy tree canopy, so satellite reception is "find a hole in the trees". If you kayak or canoe, this is an ideal campground. There is a boat ramp at the CG, the take out is at the Donaldson City Park in Celina. At normal generation levels at the dam, the river moves at about 10 mph, which makes for a 1.5 to 2 hour trip to the take out. The river water is flat but moving, no water hazards, beautiful trip. - Bama Camper
Jun 2010 - $12.00
Beautiful, remote campground on Dale Hollow Lake that is well-maintained. Only about 12 sites have 50 amp service. Nearest town is over 20 miles away, so take ample supplies when you go. About half the sites are shaded, and most are reasonably level. Lake swim area has clear water with sand/gravel bottom. Comfort stations are clean and accommodating. Enjoyed walleye and smallmouth bass fishing in the clear water lake. While campground was heavily occupied during weekends, occupancy rate during weekdays was only about 20%. - igor2brvn
May 2006 - $18.00
Somewhat to very difficult severely twisty windy access road. I don't mind the road, even with a 40' RV, but, I certainly understand the problem. That said, we absolutely love this stunning, out of the way park. The pine beetles have taken their toll on some of the shade, but you can hardly envision this park with out going there. Great lake access and we go there as much as possible, at LEAST twice a year. I don't think any sites have sewers, dump station is convenient to get to though. A lot of the sites were, in the last year or two, were upgraded to 50 amp power pedestals. - djevanstn

Great park, friendly staff. Popular park, with reason, the lake is beautiful and great for swimming/kayaking/fishing. - PaJa
Jun 2018 - $27.00
My daughter and I stayed here for two nights for a mother-daughter weekend. We loved this campground. The roads right before you get to the campground contain some very tight turns and are narrow, so make sure to take your time! Once there, though, we just loved this campground. We were within a quick walk to the beach area and did lots of swimming (make sure to wear water shoes, the ground under the water was very rocky and not great for bare feet), and we did visit the bathrooms a few times and they were clean and nice. The showers, though we didn't use them, looked very nice! Our spot was roomy and easy to back into. We had water and electric hookups at our campsite and there was a dump station at the campground that we used. The hosts were super friendly as well! We had a great time at this campground! - The Glamper Campers
Jun 2009 - $12.00
We had a beautiful waterfront site, with water & electric, as many are. The bathrooms & showers were clean & funtional. The roads into this out of the way park, are an experience in themselves, but no problem if you take your time, many hairpin curves, just watch out for the Crazy garbage truck driver, who nearly took us out on one of the 15 mph turns at over 50. This park should be rated at 10, but because the folks that have the current contract aren't real big on grounds maintenance, grass hasn't been mowed for at least 3-4 weeks, great for ticks & chiggers, also don't seem to be up on rules enforcement, as we observed teenagers swimming in unautorized areas, dogs not only Not on a 6 ft. leash, (one was on a 20ft leash), but also watched the attendant drive by one man with his dog not on a leash at all, and just wave at him. - bukhrn
Jun 2018 - $23.00
Stayed midweek the 3rd week of June. Camp ground was not half full. Most of the FHU sites were taken. Restrooms and showers were clean and had good pressure and hot water. All utilities at the site were fine. Sites do share water, so make sure you have extra hose. It seems that at KY State Park CG, the odd # sites are the ones with the water on the wrong side and you will need extra hose. The grass area in the center of the loop is used for boat and extra vehicle parking. Kids enjoyed pool, playground, and CG activities. Nice and quiet at night. Saw deer and turkeys. - melandme
Oct 2017 - $30.00
Nice state park with sites set in groups of loops. Good separation between sites. We had a fhu/50a site with a picnic table, fire ring, lantern hook, asphalt pad & cement patio. Water spigots are shared between 2 sites, so depending on which site you get, your water could come to your wet bay side or across your patio & under your RV. We were here in mid-October & the park was only about 1/3 full. There were more RV's in the lower section than the upper. Well stocked campstore, small putt-putt, restrooms/showers, laundry, playground, marina & a full service lodge are all on site. The restrooms/showers were typical state park cement block, but were clean & bright. $1 to wash/dry laundry. Their golf course is at the entrance to the park. This is a nice state park in a pretty region of Kentucky. I would recommend it. - leaf peeper
Jun 2017 - $35.00
Beautiful quiet park. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Good Verizon signal. Clean large sites. Lots of wildlife. Decent golf course and mini golf. Lodge has good food and friendly servers. - PositiveOutlook
Oct 2018 - $28.00
Used this park as an over-nite. Small park, with water & electric at the site. Some sites would be difficult to level, but ours was not. Good space between each site. Hilly terraine around the campground. If rainy, some sites would be washed out. I personally don't care for the stone based sites, but it worked for one night. Can't speak for WIFI or TV because I don't go camping for those things. RR were convenient and clean, showers had good water pressure and were clean. - Dennis D
Mar 2018 - $30.00
By far the worse state park in Tennessee. The roads are too narrow to navigate. Sites are un-level and badly sloped. Absolutely no television service or dish network satellite service. BUT, the number one reason this park is so bad is because of the park ranger, he is a bully on a power trip (the park ranger the night of 3/24, the rest of them were very nice). I would suggest finding another place to camp unless you like being pushed around by a man with a chip on his shoulder!! - Lennonandlisa Payne
Sep 2016 - $20.00
The campground overall was small, but well laid out with lots of space in each spot for equipment and larger campers. That said, getting into the spaces was a little interesting as many people when we were here, had more than one vehicle in their space, so the access road (one-way) was that much narrower.
Our spot (#1) was easy to get into, although the width of the driveway into the space made getting in the dark a little interesting. During daylight it would be a snap to back into. There were spaces that could accommodate larger campers (5th wheels, etc.) but getting backed in could be an issue if your rig was longer than about 30' Our spot was mostly level (only a little off side-to-side) but some of the other spots were not particularly level. Check the descriptions on the reservation site as they seem to be accurate.
The bathrooms were kept spotless while we were here, and they were in good condition. There was a nice laundry room as well (washer and dryer, coin op.), with a three-well sink for washing dishes. The electrical service was a little older, but in good condition, and the water pressure was good. The locations of the services was right at the edge of the pad so getting to them was a snap.
Dump station located at the exit: one hole only. Good condition, and very clean. Lots of space to maneuver, easy-in, easy-out.
Park staff were very friendly and accommodating: some of the best service on a holiday weekend that I've ever had. (Tenn. parks always seem to have great park staff.) The park had lots to do as well (SUP, kayak, canoe, and fishing boat rentals on the lake, sand volleyball, horseshoes, ping pong, etc.) as well as a large swimming pool.
Be advised that there is no wireless and no camp store, although there is a small gift shop at the park office. Check in was easy, as were reservations, and the park roads were in good shape with no local traffic to speak of. Firewood is available outside the park, but not inside. - WrongWayRandall
May 2016 - $25.00
This out-of-the-way park has a rustic charm and lots of trees. Campsites are close, but the park is small enough that you don't feel like you're in a crowd. Best part of the park was the host, who was more than amenable. He and others made sure my rig was level and situated to my liking. I'm a woman traveling alone, and the host checked in on me in a way that made me feel comfortable and secure. The surrounding area is beautiful, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Good wi-fi, too. - OmakMary
May 2015 - $27.00
It was peaceful and away from all hustle and bustle. We had full hookups, clean water and a level space. The owners were very friendly and helpful. In fact, I ran out of propane in both of my tanks and the park owner took my tanks to town with him, had them filled, and when I returned to my RV, he had them both hooked up for me. I would recommend this place, in spite of it being 26 miles from where I had to do some business in Cookeville. - Don Self
Jul 2009 - $20.00
One of the best kept secrets in Allons, TN! The hosts are wonderful! Why, one night the weather dropped to 50 degrees, and one of the owners asked if we needed blankets. The other owner helped my son perfect is badminton stroke while we relaxed during the evening. The trout farm is only 200 feet from the campground. Dale Hallow Lake Dam is 15 min. and Lilly Lake is onlly 20 min. from campground site. Price is quite a bargain, and it is away from all major traffic. Great family spot with a pavilion that houses many family games to play at night. - Mscamperreview
Jul 2008 - $22.00
Nice, quiet cg with good management. - abn
Sep 2016 - $30.00
Obey is located on Dale Hollow Lake only minutes south of Byrdstown TN on Tennessee Highway 111. All interior roads are paved, some sites are paved (19), all have picnic table and fire pit. 86 sites have water and electric. There is a dump station but some maneuvering is required.
We stayed in site 73 which was a pull in. It is directly on the lake with a great view next to the boat ramp . I would bet the ramp is busy during the summer. The grass needed mowing and our fire pit wasn't clean. Not the usual COE maintenance we have experienced. - Tom and Patty
Jun 2007 - $29.00
This campground is part of the marina operations at Grider Hill dock on Lake Cumberland. The campground is well shaded by mature trees and most sites are paved. During our stay the staff was very accommodating and drove us around in a golf cart to see all of the sites prior to driving in. Take note that some portions of the campground have narrow roads with encroaching trees as well as a few dead ends so it would be a good idea to take a tour without a camper hitched. The marina was not within reasonable walking distance but was a quick 1/2 mile drive. This is a large full service marina and provided a great place for us to slip the boat. The marina restaurant serves up a good meal with a view of the water. - campinky
Nov 2018 - $14.00
We experienced difficulty with the reservations system which had recently been upgraded. The camp host could not 'see' our reservations; fortunately, he called and they were able to confirm so we did not have to move sites. Some sites are not level. Well kept park where sites are being added. Some sites need a little TLC. Host rode through several times a day but saw no other security. No information on where to go for registration upon arrival (hut is at the Kendall CG, nothing at the annex). No OTA TV signal. Dump station at Kendall Annex was under water and at max capacity after a heavy rain. We dumped at the other campground before we left. - Pankie
Jun 2018 - $28.00
This is a wonderful place to camp! Sites are well maintained. It's quiet and has fishing both lake and trout stream. Great place to ride bikes and they also have a snack shack (great food) and a visitors center at the hatchery. Fish cleaning station for use. 2 dump stations. Camped a lot of places and this by far is our favorite! Camp sites are also semi private. Annex camping isn't bad either just no privacy and not as much shade but bath house is very nice and area is well kept. The camp sites that face the river are normally a cooler area to be at night fall due to the cool air that comes off the river. Beautiful setting. Safe. Friendly host. - GGKin
May 2018 - $14.00
Our RV is 43 ft, the main campgrounds Roads appeared to be too small with tight turns. Our verizon phones had 3 bars, when we tried to call out, all # were invalid. There was no over the air TV. Post Office 13 mi, Walmart 26 mi. We were able to get a signal from Dish network. - california3201
