Overall Rating:

Nice park, easy to find. We did not have a picnic table at our site which was a disappointment and there are no fire rings. Great hosts. We thought the overall park would be more like a farm, but it is just an RV park with a farm close-by. We would stay here again. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Go see the Davy Crockett homestead - nice place and if we would have known, we probably would have camped there instead. Nice campground.

Overall Rating:

We stayed 9/3/19 thru 9/16/19, 14 nights totaling $471.93 which includes Good Sam & weekly stay discounts and taxes. We were in site 22, a back-in, level, and shaded. The roads are 3/4 grey crushed stone, the sites are covered with a rounded 1/2 stone. The grounds are maintained well. The roads are wide, easy to navigate, and free of obstacles that make backing in difficult. They have a new laundry building with 3 washers & 3 dryers and 2 new bathrooms under construction with quality workmanship. The owner answers the phone, greets you when you arrive, and guides you to your site. He also provides you with information about the great local eateries! Every Saturday night the owner takes the campers on a hay ride thru his property and their Llama Farm where you get to pet the very friendly llamas. Saturday morning, the owners wife gives lessons on "spinning/weaving" llama fiber into fabric. If you are looking for a camping resort, Lazy Llama isn't for you. This is a quiet, well maintained CG in a beautiful setting. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Motorhome.

This place is awesome! The owners put their heart and soul into this place. They are very friendly and down to earth good people and it shows. There are no bathrooms of showers here but that's fine with me as I don't use them anyway. Bring a pressure regulator! They have 85lbs of water pressure here! If you're looking for a quiet one of a kind experience this is it! We will definitely come back! We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely campground in an even more lovely part of TN. You must call for reservations as the park is small, there aren't many CGs in the area, and everyone loves this place. The owners are wonderful. The llama (and donkeys, goats, pony) pasture is right next to the CG, ready for photos and admiring. Water pressure high. We decided to stay an extra 2 days and had to move to another site (22) which was shady. Our original site, 29, was a huge pull through right in the full sun. Roads are steep and gravel, which can't be avoided - it's very hilly in the area. Be sure to follow the directions on the website - we could barely make the turn on the "bad" road with our pickup, let alone pulling a trailer. Brand new laundry room (3 washers and 3 dryers) available in new bathhouse with construction finishing on shower and toilet portion. Wifi was better closer to the office, spotty up the hill. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park with very nice owners. Wifi worked most of the time at our site. Park is quiet but we did hear a train early in the morning but nothing during the night to wake us. No luck with Directv but there are 15 over the air stations. Park is clean and the owners are working hard to upgrade and add sites and facilities. New laundry room and shower/restroom area should be open soon. Sites are good size. Getting our motorhome level at our site was difficult. Some sites look big enough for big rigs. We would stay here again. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Motorhome.

Owners friendly and anxious to help. Met us as we pulled in and took us to our site. We had a large gravel pull thru. Park is very quiet if you discount bird calls. Plenty of shade trees in various spots. A great little gem. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Nice long pull-thru sites with good FHU. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Not necessarily a destination park but it is centrally located to many good hiking areas and historic Jonesborough. This is a new park that the owners are working to improve. Currently there are no restroom/shower facilities or laundry. The wi-fi worked well on our IPAD but was spotty and nearly unusable on the laptop as it was off-line more that it stayed on-line. Verizon cell service was very good. The Llamas were fun to watch and the owner does a Saturday evening Llama tour for guests. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent 6 nights in the campground while or children attended camp at Walnut Ridge Llama Farm. The campground had several monthly campers, but the grounds and sites were immaculate. Owners live adjacent to the campground and were on the grounds throughout the day and night. It was a great place, quiet, convenient to Greeneville and Johnson City. WIFI was good. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is just outside of Greeneville, TN. Entry is a fairly steep gravel incline. Pull-thru sites are tiered and face the llamas in the field. FHU, fairly level gravel sites, WiFi was good and so was OTA TV. Water pressure is high so you will need a regulator. Jerry, the owner, is great and will ensure that your stay is enjoyable. This is a fairly new campground and improvements are being done daily. Scenery is lovely and campground is peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend this campground and would definitely return. We camped at Lazy Llama Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We stopped here, on our way home, for two days (downtime and cleaning) and did not visit the area. We passed through Greeneville on our way to the campground. This is a fairly large town with all the amenities that you would require. There is a lot to do and see in the area if you are so inclined. Their website is very comprehensive and details many activities or things to see.
