The host was nice and friendly, but I was a bit disappointed by the condition of the park. Several long term residents have accumulated yard art (junk), other have storage buildings and appliances sitting outside. Power was a real issue and it was only in the mid 80's the days I was there. Constantly fluctuating low voltage kept shutting down my system. I probably wont be staying there again. Fix the power and kick out the people that are living there permanently making it trashy. We camped at Heritage Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Looks a lot better on the website. They have no one available in their office. The bathrooms are nice and big but very unclean. The showers look moldy and the toilets aren't clean. They have a laundry room on site but it'very dusty, hot, and floors are filthy. We camped at Heritage Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is now called Heritage Campground and RV Park. Most of the sites were taken up by workers. This place looks good on the web site, but is in need of much work, it has a lot of potential, but is sadly lacking on completion of projects started. The power was good as was the water quality. The water hook up is in a box at ground level. The sewer hook up was acceptable. If you look at the photos at the redirected website, it looks like two rows of sites..there is only one, the "back" row has no hookups and sewer pipes were laying around on the ground. It is definitely not worth the price charged per night. We camped at Heritage Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are coming for the "Amish" culture of the area, there is little to be had. The local Amish are members of a very private group, they do not appear to associate with outsiders much and have shops at their homes, but no actual stand alone businesses like found elsewhere.

We planned to stay at this park for a month till we arrived and saw it in person. It is 'big rig friendly' as far as the length of the pull thrus. The pull thru sites are narrow and you step off into dirt/mud. There are young trees planted in the narrow strip of dirt between sites. Due to placement of the young trees, we could not pull up far enough to hook up to the sewer and also have our slide room out. We connected to the electric and it had no problems. This park is trying to update, but unless they get some width to their sites, it will not be truly big rig friendly. We camped at Heritage Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.
