Great overnight stop for us, wish we could have stayed longer. Seamless checkin with escort to our nice shaded long wide level pull through gravel site. Full hookups all worked well. Cable tv ok. Decent WiFi for light use. Ok Verizon. Paved interior roads a little tight. Nice dog areas with bags and waste cans. Would stay here again if in the area. - Janau NC
Oct 2018 - $41.00
This is the cleanest KOA I have seen! Showers and bathrooms were very clean, with good water pressure and nice hot showers. The laundry facilities were very clean as well. Laundry room has five or six washers and six dryer’s. Hosts are very friendly and helpful with tourist and sightseeing information. Site #8 was level with good water and electricity. Most sites looked fairly level. The only reason this did not get five stars is because the toilets and showers are not wheelchair accessible. - Robin Florida
Sep 2018 - $48.00
Stayed one night, could not open awning due to close proximity of side by side campers. Quiet time not enforced, was roused from bed at 12am by noisy campers next door. Less than 3 feet between campers. Will NOT stay at this KOA again. - Don45

This park has uneven sites. So much so that, even with the use of the on-board RV leveling Jacks, we couldn't extend our bump outs.
This park is very unclean. The bathrooms (showers/commodes) are filthy and in need of maintenance, cleaning and updating.
The laundry facilities are the same. The machines are rusty (inside and out). I was afraid to use them over concern that the rust would bleed onto my clothes during the wash cycle. I had to take our camping laundry to an off-site laundromat.
Beyond the uncleanliness of the amenities, the grounds too are unkempt. The front sites (visible front he road) are mowed and weedeated. The back sites are not.
The camp directs you to walk your pets in a "designated area," that is all well and good if they would actually direct you to where that "designated area" is, which they did not. Everyone here seems to have a different opinion about where that is. The most common place seems to be by a large trash heap in the middle of the park. I walked my dog near that spot in the day, but was hesitant to at night. The pile of wood debris in the middle of your campground is dangerous. There are used boards with very large nails sticking up...just waiting for a child to fall or step on them and need an ER visit for tetanus shot and stitches. ed boards with very large nails sticking up...just waiting for a child/pet/anyone to fall or step on them and need an ER visit for tetanus shot and stitches.
We had an overnight stay on Saturday night. This was BYOB and Karaoke night on the office porch (not far from our camper). The more the crowd drank, the louder and more off pitch the Karaoke singers became. They started at 5 PM and continued until 10:00 PM. We had planned phone calls to family back home and a movie in our camper. The karaoke began and remained so loud, even inside our own RV, we were unable to keep our plans. - George Hall III
Nov 2015 - $15.00
I stayed there in 2006 for at least a year and loved it. Met some great friends. I would go back. Dirt sites are very close and open to sun. Picnic table. - s12552001
Nov 2009 - $17.00
I stopped here looking for one nights rest. The staff was very polite and helpful. The campground is catering to mostly permanent setups and the newest RV in was at least 20 years old. I did not see any open sites except for the small one they put me on. It would be too small for anything over my 21 footer. I did my laundry here and while the machines have been well used. Some had rust and some were out of order. My clothes came out clean and dry. Everything remotely movable was chained and padlocked. If you want cheap camping and not a large rig it would be OK, but if rough looks aren't your style I would keep looking elsewhere. - Goinmobile

This is a difficult review to write because one bad experience colors my recommendation for this park. This park is one of the best options to park an RV around Nashville because it is away from the busy Opry area (a plus for us, but maybe not for others), a 20-minute drive from downtown and reasonably-priced. The sites are decent sized and the office staff is helpful. There is some road and train noise but we didn't find it to be very noticeable. The reason I can't recommend this park is due to the danger of flooding. A violent rainstorm came up around ten PM last week. We were riding it out when we started seeing water sheeting across the ground. The water rose fairly quickly and we started seeing RVs pulling out of their spaces and leaving. No one had informed us that the park is in a dangerous flash flood zone and no one from park management came around to warn us the creek behind the park was overflowing its banks. We weren't sure what to do, but eventually realized that the water was going to keep rising. Luckily we were able to get out before the water caused any damage to our trailer, but our truck sustained water damage that will be a major insurance claim. We have since learned that several vehicles and RVs were destroyed by a major flood here in 2017. Unless the flood risk is addressed, I can't recommend this park. - MrSunshine
Nov 2018 - $35.00
Stayed here while attending a wedding in Nashville. This is an older somewhat refurbished campground. Owners extremely helpful is setting up and answering any questions you may have. Probably the best thing about the campground is the nightly entertainment, music, which is presented free of charge. The main downside is the crowded sites and water connection being underground. - ztlrgf
Oct 2018 - $35.00
A nice RV park about 15-20 minutes north of the City. About a $20 Uber/Lyft ride which we used as our main method of accessing the city, especially Broadway. Very friendly staff. Good breakfasts and dinners. Music every night. Sites were a little close but no too bad. Originally had #79 and could not get DirecTV because of the tree beside the site. They moved us to 27. Internet at both was poor. "Cannot Connect to this network", "incorrect password" when reconnecting, No internet most of the times. Maybe for a half hour or so very early, but would then get kicked off. Talked to the staff about it. Normal responses that it was being worked on or someone was coming to check it or "when everyone gets on it is difficult to connect to". They need to fire their wifi company! We had no problems for 3 weeks before this and 2 weeks after. Oh, and a tree limb fell out of a tree beside us in #27. Luckily it hit our roof mount bike rack and fell right beside the care. Pieces of old dead tree limb all over, but no damage we could see so far. Had hoped they would be more sympathetic about this. - BoatEscape

We had one of the deluxe patio sites, which was the top of the price range but we wanted the paved surface instead of gravel. Some of the gravel sites looked a little muddy, but overall a very nice campground. Sewer had 2 hookups; good to not have to stretch the hose a long distance. We were told the wifi was not working when we checked in, so we didn't try to use it. Trash is collected at your site in the mornings between 8 and 10...it's nice I don't have to carry it to the dumpster, but if you have trash to get rid of after 10 am, there's no trash cans. This also is a problem when we pick up after our dogs... no where to go with the poop bags. Not even a can at the fenced dog run. Only other complaint: laundry room is open only during store hours, so no doing laundry early in the morning or in the evening. - jimandlisa
Dec 2018 - $80.00
This is a nice, clean campground with lots of facilities including a very nice hot tub. Access roads were paved and relatively easy to maneuver through ... my only issue was the campground has large rocks placed at several of the corners, I assume to protect the grass. Given how close these rocks are to the road it is necessary to watch carefully when going around corners. The staff was friendly and helpful and acted quickly to resolve the two issues I encountered with my sight (stripped water faucet, and a 50 amp circuit breaker that would randomly trip). Trash service at this campground was also a bit inconvenient as they only pick up between 8:00 and 10:00 and do not offer self service dumpsters outside of this two hour window. On the long pull through site I was on the utilities were at the rear edge of the sight so I needed to use 20 ft of sewer hose and 35 ft of water to hookup. Overall, though, this is a clean and well run campground and because of its great location I will camp here again the next time I come to Nashville. - Greg and Kim

Stayed on site 313 which was a level gravel back in site with a concrete pad. The sites give you ample room to open slides on both sides and the roads are wide enough to navigate and make it easy to back into your site. The wifi and TV were very good here and the park has a good size dog park. The plus to this park is that for $10. a shuttle arrives at the park each hour to transport you to the downtown area which well worth it as parking is an issue. The staff were extremely friendly and and will assist in selecting and obtaining tickets for events. The park is next door to a Camping World and just off the freeway but is quite. - Irish2
Nov 2018 - $59.00
Two Rivers RV Park is just off the freeway, in between an RV dealership and a Camping World, in a row of other RV parks, about 1 1/2 miles from the Grand Ole Opry ($7 by Lyft), and ten miles from downtown. The park is clean and the people friendly. Sites are level gravel, and have a concrete pad for the picnic table. As private parks go, site spacing wasn’t terrible. The hookups were all very close together. Sewer hookup was within six inches of the fresh water. The water was heavily chlorinated, and I think this is the park that destroyed our water filters. Cell service was fine. I didn’t try the WiFi. - AnnP
Oct 2018 - $53.00
There were no 50-amp or pull-through sites available, only 30-amp back-in's. It worked OK for us. They caution you to not overload the 30-amp service, even giving out a sheet with estimated current draw for all your appliances. The power boxes do not have their own circuit breakers, so if you overload it you'll have to call the office to have it reset. This park is very conveniently located for visiting the Grand Ole Opry, only 2 miles away. And they have a shuttle that runs into Nashville on the hour and half-hour. $10 per person round trip. This park was the best value that we could find in the area. We'd probably stay here again. - wntrtxn

Dec 2018 - $84.00
This park is a mud pit swamp. One travel trailer had at least 3-4 inches around the entire trailer. They even put pallets around it so they could get out of the pond of water it was sitting in. The management staff was rude and didn't like to hear about how bad of shape the entire park grounds were in and the restrooms and bathhouse was filthy. I don't see how they stay in business... best advice keep driving and go somewhere else or plan to deal with mud holes and potholes this place is a dump. - Livn Large
Nov 2018 - $83.00
We stayed here because of no where else stay. Everything was booked except Yogi Bears in Nashville. It was almost empty and after staying there I can now see why; everything is very unlevel, dirt and gravel sites with no where to park my truck. Everything was flooded and the office staff was very rude, and the store help was was just snobbish. The bath houses need to be torn down and completely rebuilt. Stay at your own risk. - Mountain Mans
Sep 2018 - $83.00
Stayed at this Park because the Nashville KOA & Two Rivers RV parks were full. Park had a pool and some inflatables for kids which is nice. Had dog park. Lady at check-in was friendly and helpful. Park offered cabins, RV sites and tent sites. Roads are mostly gravel and sites are gravel. My site was narrow for my 40 ft 5th wheel with slides. It was also not level from front to back creating some challenges during leveling. Most people have to park parallel to the road at the edge of their site. Site are not long enough to accommodate longer RV's and their tow vehicle. I had to request the family next to us to move their truck so I could get my RV out of the site when we were ready to leave. Appears to be a large number of residents in the park. Laundry/Bathhouse was small but appeared to be clean. Individual shower rooms were very small (and I am not a big person). Laundry equipment was clean. Free Wi-Fi was available but was less than 1.0 gbps speed (very slow) so it was basically useless. Free Cable TV provided which provided all the basic channels. They have quiet hours which they don't enforce because the guy behind me started his diesel truck at about 5:30 and let it sit there for about 5 minutes before he left the park. The truck was loud. Also all their roads are one-way roads but again they do not enforce it as people continually drive the wrong way on the narrow roads. The park does not offer a Good Sam discount. Price was $83.00/night which was excessive for what is provided. - BillyE

Wish we could have stayed more than one night here. Even though we weren't lakeside, we still had a nice view of the very pretty lake. Our site used wood to create a 2nd level, and some of this wood needs replacing. The host at the gate was not that welcoming, but a ranger who came by our site was very friendly. - Lane Wise

Stayed in site 20 over Memorial Day weekend. Our site was level but lacking privacy. Restrooms and showers were clean overall. The restroom doors were always open so there were bugs in the shower stalls. - cdb14

Tough to find in a large MH but worth the trip. Sites a little close but all scenic. Biggest problem is finding the signage to enter the road to park. You must watch closely for sign on Cages Bend Road. - Supdog11

Oct 2017 - $12.00
Depending on your direction of approach, plan on traveling several miles on curvy, hilly, narrow roads to reach this campground. Your view of this campground is going to depend heavily on what site you have. The sites along the water are well-separated with nice views. Most other sites, not so much. Other than the water sites, the campsites are arranged in circles. We had two different sites since we were unable to secure one site for our entire week stay. Both sites were very crowded with views of many, many other RVs. It was not a good feeling with our table close to the table in the loop behind us. The sites have a thin gravel coating that, when it rains, become a real slimy mess. Our grill had the bottom burned out and our old wooden picnic table was falling apart. We were able to get satellite for DirecTV and Verizon signal for voice and data was strong. It was very quiet there at night as the recreation area is on a dead-end road. They shut the gate at 10, but it is not locked so you can get in and out. This was an acceptable place to stay to visit Nashville and the price is certainly right considering the cost of commercial RV parks in the area. - TheJim
Aug 2017 - $13.00
Stayed 5 nights with a 43' motorhome to visit Nashville and Opry. Our rate reflects America the Beautiful pass. Easy to get to CG, approx. 10mi from I-40. Easy check-in. Interior roads paved and easy to navigate. Our site #3, partly shade in the front loop and level with small gravel sitting on a sandy base. When it rained the site drained but was muddy. Good spacing between sites. Sites along river have a lot more space between them. Utilities E/W worked well - no sewer. Dump station at rear of park. Need to make a U-turn and go up slight incline to position to dump but manageable. Trash needs to be taken to the dumpster at the front by the bathhouse. Each site has a fire ring and table. Bathhouse (did not use) were clean but showers needs some attention to moldy curtains. Beautiful park with lots of shade and open fields bordering the Cumberland River. Grassy fields were in good shape with lots of room to walk your dog. Very peaceful, tranquil setting. You can watch the ships moving barges in the river and enjoy the view. Outside the park down the road is the Cedar Creek Marina where you can have lunch or rent a boat to cruise on the river. Nashville is about 15mi away. - RTM

The roads are all paved but narrow for big rigs. Pads are all concrete, very narrow and in need of repair. Utilities were all good, water pressure good and Wi-Fi strong but a bit slow. Lots of big trees which blocked satellite TV reception. Price is rediculous given the water park was closed. Lake shore is fenced off so there is not lake access from the RV park. Staff was friendly and allowed us to leave a day early for medical issues. Half the cost was required up front as a deposit with no refund when within 10 days of arrival. We choose this park for easy access to the airport. Sites were only 20 minutes away. - BBGuy

Might be a good setting for the next Friday the 13th movie.... The park facilities are sad. You might want to take a shower in your RV if you have to use the park restrooms (yuck). Most of the lights in the campground are out and what are lit are far an few between. (Take a flashlight wherever you go - snakes, spiders, etc.). The dog park is a mud pit and the laundry facilities are out of the dark ages. I realize it's the end of the season for them, but there is no excuse for the conditions based on the nightly rate. I had to actually thread my RV through 2 concrete pilings. - Opie14120
Aug 2018 - $60.00
I would not recommend staying here during the water park season unless that is why you came. The water park is literally next to the campground, nothing to block the noise. The traffic must be tremendous. You enter & exit the campground with the water park traffic. It is like entering Disney World's parking lot. Also beware of the speed bumps. They are killers. We stayed here during the week in August when the water park was only open on weekends. It was relatively quiet. The park looks old. Some of the spots are difficult to get into because of curbing. Some spots have to turn around in a tight circle to exit. We also had difficulty getting someone to answer when we made reservations in February. The water pressure was fine for us. We had no problem getting satellite signal. There is a large dog park that our dogs enjoyed. Kind of sparse with the grass because it is heavily wooded. We didn't use the cable. We will probably be back but will be careful with the site they assign us & will schedule our visit for after the water park closes. - Connie's Co-Owner

Twenty-one spaces on an asphalt parking lot. Very narrow and short with little room to maneuver in and out. The 30 amp power at my site had reversed polarity. I checked the 30a at sites 15-20 and found two with reversed polarity, two completely dead, one burnt/melted, and two okay. Litter was everywhere. Any place with such a severe disregard for visitors safety can't get more than one star. Only the 50a was safe to use. The one positive is that you are in the Nashville city limits. There is no shopping or entertainment in walking distance but there is a short drive away. - beemerphile1
Mar 2018 - $35.00
This place is hard to rate. The location to Nashville cant be beat. The price can't be beat. BUT, it's an asphalt parking lot on both sides. The preferable campground is on Smith Ave. It's fenced in and the utilities are in better condition then those on Walsh Rd. They do need attention and there are no circuit breakers on the boxes. The electric was good, good water pressure. Only 1 or 2 spots could fit larger motor homes , it's a tight campground. I'm at 39 feet and hung out into the roadway, while being backed completely up to the fence. The utilities on the Walsh rd. Side are pretty much destroyed and incomplete. With what looks like a couple of squatters living there. Even on the smith side the guy next to me appeared to be living there. The area felt safe enough . - creeper
May 2017 - $35.00
We did not stay here. We went there and when we went up the hill to the spaces we decided it wasn't for us. I think I saw another area for parking that might have been marginally better. The campgrounds in the area charge &50-$70, feel safer and there is a shuttle bus for $10 R/T to downtown. I feel that is a better alternative. - sflabrkr
