It was raining most of the time we were there and this is no fault of the RV park, but it made for messy areas around the site. They did have grass around each site which helped. We were backed up to the creek, lots of trees between us and the freeway, but we did have some noise but our rig is pretty sound tight so didn't keep us awake. There is limited space on entry into the park so if lots of folks are checking in it can be a bit of a circus. We like that it was away from the downtown area of Nashville so much easier to navigate around. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Disappointing experience. On the road, heading home from winter trip, looking for a pull through for the night. When making the reservation I told woman on phone we were 45ft and towing and needed a long pull through. She said I was lucky I called because there was only one left and then she had the nerve to say, "Oh it's a really nice one too". Believing her, I booked. Arriving we were led along a narrow road, warned to be very careful at the first turn and then led onto a narrow site. The turns were too tight, no way we could get straight on it. Due to my husbands good driving we were eventually able to get on it, but there was no way we were going to be able to pull through it to get off the site. As I said the roads were narrow and there was a very large tree right at the front right corner of our site and we were expected to turn right to depart. No way a 45 footer could make the turn, with or without towing. We had to unhitch the tow. It was sitting very crooked at the back of the site and we determined that the only way out, was to back up. We then walked the road that we were told to take to exit the park. It would be difficult for 45 ft bus towing to make the narrow turns, especially one around a cabin with a car parked next to it and a drop off on the other side. Even if we had been able to get to the exit that way we would of been in big trouble trying to make 2 right turns to exit the park onto a very busy road. This park was definitely built for smaller rigs. We did see a few pull throughs that were straighter than ours. We were on site 16 that had more mud than grass and an old beat up picnic table. We carefully backed out of our site in the morning, hooked up our tow and went back out the way we had come into the park. I will never stay at this park again and can still hear the woman on the phone saying "Oh it's a really nice one too". If her idea of nice is mud and rotten wood, I'd hate to see one of her less nice ones. I'm still mad about that. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Motorhome.

Great overnight stop for us, wish we could have stayed longer. Seamless checkin with escort to our nice shaded long wide level pull through gravel site. Full hookups all worked well. Cable tv ok. Decent WiFi for light use. Ok Verizon. Paved interior roads a little tight. Nice dog areas with bags and waste cans. Would stay here again if in the area. This is the cleanest KOA I have seen! Showers and bathrooms were very clean, with good water pressure and nice hot showers. The laundry facilities were very clean as well. Laundry room has five or six washers and six dryer’s. Hosts are very friendly and helpful with tourist and sightseeing information. Site #8 was level with good water and electricity. Most sites looked fairly level. The only reason this did not get five stars is because the toilets and showers are not wheelchair accessible. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed one night, could not open awning due to close proximity of side by side campers. Quiet time not enforced, was roused from bed at 12am by noisy campers next door. Less than 3 feet between campers. Will NOT stay at this KOA again. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is right next to a major interstate highway so there is a lot of road noise. The spot was level but very tight. The speed bumps will knock your teeth out. Far drive to Nashville downtown. Very nice owners. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Like all KOA's, this camp was way over priced. It was a well layer out, easy to navigate, pleasant park with a helpful, friendly staff. It is located near the highway, but noise was not an issue. Full hookups and camp cable were in good working order. Because of all the trees we did not hook up our DISH. For IT security reasons we never use camp WIFI, so we cannot speak to that. AT&T service was good. The first night we enjoyed a delicious, catered pulled pork dinner ($10 each) and live music. Met some lovely people at that venue. The pool was simple, but clean. The camp was about 25-30 minutes from the Bourbon Street action, and 20-25 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry. It rained for two days while we were there, and our campsite was one of very few that became a pond. We recommended they add topsoil and gravel. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small KOA with very tight driveways. The sites themselves offer some space with grass and trees and are long enough that we didn't have to unhook. It is a well-kept park with a great little swimming pool, a long dog run, and a nice trail by a small, low creek, which our dog found quite refreshing on a hot day. We thought it was overpriced, and it was a challenge to maneuver our 34' motorhome and toad through the tight, curving roads lined with trees. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Take a walk by the creek over by the dog run. The water is very low and clear. You can get your feet wet (or your dog can) without getting soaked.

We stayed only about 12 hours. We were caught in traffic due to two accidents on our way and got in around 10 pm. The site was very arrow and very close to the other campers. The price for one night was very expensive. We were charged extra $5.00 each for two extra adults and 3 kids. We had to wake our neighbor up to move his truck so we wouldn't hit it pulling out. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here at North Nashville KOA after the KOA in Lebenon TN was sold out. We had just traded our travel trailer in for our new 5th wheel and only had 1 hour to transfer everything to the new trailer. We spent most of the night cleaning and organizing. I will say that the staff was great, the restrooms and showers were clean and recently updated with new tile floors and walls. We got the last pull thru site. The sites were very close together and muddy. Some new gravel in the sites would help with this problem. We only stayed one night and was on our way back onto the highway by 9:00 am. The pull thru site was long enough for our 5th wheel and our tow vehicle where we did not have to unhitch. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Not a place to go on a rainy afternoon. Mud and puddles everywhere. Even though we made a reservations on the KOA site, we were given a site that was neither a pull through or long enough for our stated length. We arrived at 5:30 pm but no one was available since the office closed at 5:00 and no one answered the phone calls. Noise from the highway and a light shining in our windows didn't help. Not going to return. We camped at Nashville North KOA in a Motorhome.

This was probably the worst campground I've seen. We arrived around 8pm and it was fairly dark when we got there so we couldn't see a whole lot. Needless to say, thank god. First off, coming in after hours you still pay $57.00, outrageous amount of money!!! We chose a pull thru but it was a bit tight because of the turn into it. There was a patio which was nice since the whole site was a mud pit and let's not forget the freeway traffic noise. I would never recommend this campground nor will I ever stay at another KOA.
