We arrived at 1:30; we were told we couldn't get in. We had to go wait in the "Day Use" area. Luckily, we were able to get there before the crowds and unhooked our toad and waited. Once we were allowed in we got an uneasy feeling that was born out by the site we were in. Driving through we could see deep sites that were heavily treed and very sloping. Site 28 was challenging to back into and is impossible to get level for a 40 foot motorhome. We tried for 30 minutes. Gave up and we had a slope to the front. We face the beach...not too bad if you don't mind screaming children and shirtless campers wandering by. Upon check in we were told the showers were not working. This doesn't impact us, however the number of other campers who rely upon them is enormous, thus the low scores. We are flummoxed by the high scoring and would never recommend this park nor would we return. Very disappointing. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Wonderful COE campground located on beautiful Percy Priest Lake. Long spacious sites with deep shade. Swimming beach and boat launch areas are within the CG loop. Sites 11-50 have good views of the lake. Odd numbered sites are directly on the water. These are very long sites and most have a slope at the beginning, leveling off at the back near the utilities, no problem getting level. Check-in is still strictly enforced at 3:00, but you can wait it out at a large boat launch area just 1/4 mile past the park on the left. Easy ride to downtown Nashville and The Hermitage from here. Super clean, quiet and dark at night. What a splendid campground! We'll mark this one as a favorite. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Love this campground, this is our 2nd visit. First visit camp host were wonderfully friendly and helpful. This time the guy at the gate (8/4/2019) was an absolute jerk! It was pouring rain and he wanted to see my license. OK, not a problem but he had a terrible attitude and said he could not read it as I held it out and it wasn't his job to come out to see it. So I get out of the motorhome and walk up to his little window in the pouring rain and give him the license. Amazing how just a little authority can make someone act like such a jerk! The nice lady with him was very polite and seemed to be embarrassed at his antics as well. Everything else about this place is absolutely wonderful! No use arriving before 3:00 because you cannot get in and will need to park some else to wait. Backing in to the site is a bit tricky in 40' motorhome due to trees and posts. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Nice COE park, but very hot in late July: mid 90's. Fair amount of flies at our site. Sites along the waterfront had a lovely breeze and felt 10-15 degrees cooler than our site. Winds in late July came off the water, so the best sites are facing the water, as close as possible. We were in site 47 and the wind was completely blocked by our rig, making the heat and the flies worse. If summer camping, get a site along the water front or at least close to the water, and set up so that your picnic table is between your rig and the water. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Another great COE park...this one is extremely busy. We made our reservation three months in advance for a ten-day stay and could only reserve a site that was off the water and close to the entrance. The sites are very spacious and this park is ideal for boaters who wish launch inside the park. Some campsite drive ways are long enough to accommodate two vehicles plus a good size RV and boat. The sites on the water are really spectacular and most of the sites afford adequate privacy. There is a nice playground for children and a swimming area and boat ramp inside the park. Except for the cicadas the park was quiet in the evenings. We will definitely return here to camp when in the area. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We used roads other than the interstate to travel into Nashville and made better timing. If you have bikes, turn right after leaving the park to take a slightly hilly 10 minute ride to another beautiful picnic area and boat ramp. Lastly, watch for mice...we had a visitor each night while camping here!

I'm not one to complain about campgrounds or the sites but the "new" strictly enforced 3pm check-in time is completely ridiculous! They say the reason is so they can clean the campsites for the next guest. Obviously, that is not the case because our campsite was extremely nasty! I've attached a couple of pictures to show how "clean" it was! We love this campground but will no longer stay here due to the ridiculous check- in policy!!! We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

I have been coming to this park for almost 10 years. Sadly the sites have really deteriorated. Broken cross ties, thick mud on parking sites, sites are not cleaned after previous camper and women's showers drains into sink area. Hosts are very nice and accommodating. The road around campground was paved this year. Beware of dead trees. Tree limb fell on my car and broke out the back window. Sad to see this nice park go downhill. Very nice park. Saw the "warnings" about early check-in, so drove the back roads of Tennessee from Knoxville. Beautiful drive. Hosts Brenda and Gary are "local grown" and the epitome of Southern Hospitality. Campground roads are beautifully paved, with excellent shoulders, for those who cut corners too short. There are periodic speed bumps to keep the traffic slow... smart, especially near the beach and playground area, which are superbly maintained. Pads are well-spaced, paved, but old, yet quite close to level. We noted a worker cleaning out empty sites and doing a thorough job, picking up trash, shoveling out the bbq & fire ring, and sweeping the table, benches and surrounding site area. Each site has a pea-gravel area with a circular concrete table and bench, a fire ring w/grill, a "portable" light hook, and a raised bbq w/grill. All sites have water and electric, and many, if not all, are big rig capable. We stayed 2 nights, and enjoyed going into The Gulch area of Nashville for the day, although the traffic is not for sissies. The dump area was immaculately maintained and included a flush hose that could have reached into the next county. We used the Senior Pass discount (50%). Highly recommend this campground. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

Reservations for 3 nights here. Friendly hosts, good spacing between sites. Level paved parking pads, gravel pads for tables, etc. Good utilities (elec/water). Dump station - tight swing for long rigs. Base for seeing Nashville sights. Would stay here again! We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

A very lovely CoE campground. Some amazingly large sites, but most sites have some minor to severe slope to them. Waterfront sites are prime, but many of those are buddy sites, so be aware when booking. The 3pm checkin time is strictly enforced. We arrived at 2pm and were turned away. When we came back at 3pm, there were over 10 rigs lined up for the very slow checkin process, so time your arrival carefully. If you do arrive before 3pm, the nearby Cook Day-use area is convenient for waiting and has a large loop to turn around in. Most sites are big rig friendly, but check length when making reservations. I would not recommend any of the pull through sites due to sharp angles and very close trees. Very convenient to Nashville with pretty much anyplace within a 1/2 hour drive. The park did do a fair amount of shrub and tree trimming, so there are lots of areas which get muddy when it rains. They also resurfaced the road which is great, except for the 6" drop off along some of the edges, so be cautious when driving through, especially along corners. A nice, quiet campground close to Nashville with some great sites. Not overly dog friendly with no bags, waste containers, or places to let dogs run. Beach is off limits to dogs, but I did see several there, so maybe it's not strictly enforced. Good AT&T and Verizon data coverage. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park with spacious sites. It’s a little out out of the hustle & bustle. Just the way I like it. We were in a site across the road from the boat ramp with a beautiful view of the lake. The notice on the web site concerning check-in being at 3:00 to allow for the cleaning of the sites was spot on. The staff was out doing this every day at every site that a new camper was coming in on. We will be coming back. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Park started enforcing a 3pm check in this year. Check in time is on email reservations but has never been enforced until this year. I was told the enforcement of the check-in time is to allow workers to clean sites. However, my site had ashes in fire pit and lantern pole was missing. Enforced 3pm check in forces campers to find a place to park their rigs outside of park until then. Additionally RVs back up on road waiting to check in. Would have been helpful to send a message on reservation that entry is no longer allowed until 3pm. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

We stayed for one night while passing through the area. The park is a little off the beaten path but not too difficult to find and only a few minutes from the interstate. The park is very pretty and peaceful. We were greeted by the friendly host at the gatehouse and given directions to our site, #58. There is nice privacy and separation between the sites. Our site had a pretty strong grade up which made backing in a little difficult. Not sure it would be suitable for a motor home. Also, we noticed our site and a few others had crumbling asphalt along the edge of the pad with a 6" drop off so we had to make sure our tires didn't go off the edge. The restrooms were OK; I didn't care for the showers because although the showers themselves were private, there was no room for dressing so you're forced to do so out in the open right next to the sinks. This should be improved. There is no campstore but the park is a short drive to numerous stores and restaurants. The beach area is pretty and has a nice playground. Over the air TV netted over a dozen stations and the At&t cell signal was strong. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.
