I love this quaint little park. Very friendly staff & helpful. A staff member was terrific helping me load unload my scooter. The owner could Not have been more helpful. The WiFi was so good (5G) I did not have to use their cable as I Have Youtube TV. Right on Rte 441 with free Air/Water. Gas & Propane gas! I highly recommend Duvall in the Smokies. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We chose Duvall in the Smokies because of all the positive reviews and were not disappointed. This is a very new, clean, well-landscaped RV campground. There are only about 30 sites; each site has a fire ring. About half the sites are right on the river bank. Our site was right next to the laundry (just one washer & dryer, $2 each per load on the honor system). Even though we arrived after the office had closed, we were greeted, guided into our site, and offered hookup help. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Duvall RV Park is an all paved park which is very nice with no intruding trees. The entrance is narrow between the key-pad post on your left and the gate post on your right so be careful if you are driving a big coach. The hosts were very nice and we were escorted to our site. Electric is good at 119 on each leg. Water and sewer are conveniently located. The directions given were a little sketchy so make sure that you understand them. Exit 407 from I-40, go south and make a left on 'MAIN' street which is highway 411 (two streets by this name, pick 'MAIN' street 411). Main street turns in to 'Dolly Parton Parkway' which is vague. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Motorhome.

2 years after this park opened and you think that its impossible to get better...it did. Splash pad added, canoe launch into the river and great Host coordinated campground activities on Saturday nights. Dont be fooled by other parks trying mimic the Duvalls; the Duvalls make this park. The only way we will stay somewhere else is if Duvall is all booked up, even then we would (and have) call back everyday hoping for a cancellation. This place is that good and that is why it stays booked. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is going to be one of those CG's that will be hard to get reservations for in the future when word gets out more about it. We felt so lucky getting reservations here after we got here! Owners are excellent hosts. The place is immaculate! Didn't use the bathhouse, but I'm sure it also was immaculate. Loved the landscaping and antique equipment placed around the CG. We had a pull-thru site, and you will need extra boards for the front end. Asphalt sites with beautiful picnic tables and umbrellas.Nice sized fire rings that are well placed. Hook ups are convenient-cable with about 10 channels. I keep us busy with things to do instead of watching TV! LOL! Wood, ice, bags of charcoal are available on the honor system-just pay when owners get to office. They offer Good Sam Discount. Our next visit will be a back in site on the river! GPS will get you around the traffic when traveling to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg areas. Anakeesta was worth the money-wouldn't recommend the food truck cuisine-our chili for the hot dogs was cold to luke warm. (didn't take it back d/t the crowd !) Get there early for tickets up the mountain!

This has been one of two of the best campgrounds we have been to yet, in two years of travel. The park is new, and small - yet the spaces are all level and spaces nicely apart. The owners have created a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Our site backed up to the Little Pigeon River. Plenty of space to walk our dog, immaculate grounds. Trash gets picked up at your site 3 times a day. Leon greeted us and showed us to our site, guided us to back in and was the friendliest person we'd met all month - That southern hospitality sure was genuine! There is a fun splash pad with showering and misting features. Plenty of seating and such a creative use of water fun! You can rent kayaks and drop in (or bring your own) when the rivers high enough. this park is fantastic and we plan to return soon for several weeks! We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed 15 nights on Bonnie & Clyde #16 w/full hookups, cable, very easy to back into, level w/a picnic table, huge umbrella, fire rings and charcoal grill. We had plenty of space between us and the campers on each side. Owners are welcoming fantastic owners, who truly wanted us to enjoy our stay! Campground is fenced, gated w/security code 24/7, well lit Park. The picnic tables are heavy and were reclaimed, milled & built from red oaks from the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area fires several years ago by the owner. What a great use local natural resources that otherwise would have gone to waste! He also made the fire rings & charcoal grills himself. They designed and built most of the campground themselves w/great detail touches and pieces throughout. Mountain Waterhole is a one of a kind great place to beat the heat! Very creative. We saw the bald eagle perched in a tree on the campground, pretty cool! Site sizes vary with quite a few on the river w/hammocks gliders or swings and sites are kept clean and maintained. It is a great place to stay off the congested areas with easy access to Veterans and other roads that take you to the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Newport when you want it. We have stayed at other campgrounds in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in the past 20 years and have decided Duvall in the Smokies is the best & will be our "home base" from now on! See you next trip, thank you! We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoyed: Bush's Baked Beans History site and cafe. The Gondolier's Pizza just a mile or so away. Mama's Chicken Kitchen (the best juicy chicken! On the Pkwy in Gatlinburg). English Mountain Trout Farm & Cafe (catch 'em, they'll cook 'em & you eat 'em. Excellent trout meal!). Hillbilly Golf is a great time! Cade's Cove is a must see (a bear crossed infront of us)! Space Needle and Arcade is always fun (Gatlinburg). Just get out and drive, explore and enjoy the mountains!

This is a beautiful, small park located on the Little Pigeon River. Many of the sites are right up against the banks of the river with hammocks included! You could not ask for more friendly and helpful owners. I am new to camping and the owner showed up at my door upon arriving and totally walked me through the hook-up process. I now know that I am ready for all of my adventures. I have also watched him help others into their sites. They are also very accommodating if you run into any problems. The park is behind a gas station for easy access to gas, diesel and great food. Being in this park gives you easy access to all of the attractions of the area without all of the tourist traffic. The park also provides kayaks and tubes for floating on the river. Park also has propane, ice and a very nice laundry. Do not waste your vacation time in traffic but give this park, Duvall in the Smokies, a try. A great "base" campground for seeing Dollywood, dinner shows in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We camped here Saturday to Saturday in late July/early August. Our family rented Sites 1 & 2, the Eagle's Nest, which accommodates two RVs. Our site was river front. We used one block (about an inch) and had a perfectly level RV. It was easy to get in and around Duvall in the Smokies. The campground is spotlessly clean and maintained. The campground is gated, so no worries about strangers driving through and looking around. It felt very safe. The campground is located behind the Weigl's gas station. It was a little confusing the first time but easy thereafter. Weigl's has last minute items you might need such as beer, milk, donuts -- gas station fare. And you can fill up your vehicle before you venture out to Gatlinburg or Great Smoky National Park. The water of the Little Pigeon River changed daily but was always beautiful. We swam, fished, kayaked, and tubed. The kids and the dogs loved it. Owners are on-site and were very accommodating. We especially enjoyed chatting with them. We would definitely stay at this campground again when next in the area. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Great Smoky National Park: Clingman's Dome, Cades's Cove Note: There are no gas stations and no restaurants or snack bars in GSNP. Fill up the vehicle and pack a picnic lunch so that you can spend the day. Kids enjoyed Anakeesta, an adventure park. Old Mill Restaurant provided a cheap and plentiful meal. In fact, two meals because we had enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

A extremely well kept family owned campground. Only 40 sites so nice and friendly. The roads and pads are all asphalt which can get quite hot in the summer sun. Just be prepared. Also you must have boards or other material to put under your jacks. This is required by the campground to avoid jacks sinking into the asphalt. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Be sure to take the opportunity to visit Cades Cove and drive the loop road with your tow vehicle. I wouldn't take a motor home or tow my trailer through there. Also for an evening of fun and entertainment go to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. Fun for the whole family.
