Big rig friendly with level sites. Traveled on I55 south and then I155 using our GPS. Then we had to take a ferry across the river. Suggest you check to see the difference if you stay on I55. Only bathroom and shower is in the office. Laundry was good. No dog park but grass to walk dog. Staff was very friendly. - Fulltimersrv

Good overnight stay. Convenient to highway. Would stay there again. Sites are decent with adequate room. Did not use the WiFi. Decent cell phone coverage. Surge protector would not turn on using the 50 amp connection but worked fine with the 30 amp connection. - wv2tx

We are full-timers and on the road. Pulled into Union City and planned on staying at this park. The park was full except for 1 site. Looked to be full of people living there. It is basically a parking lot, but would have been fine for an overnight stay. The 1 open site was already booked. This is the first time in 4 1/2 years of full-timing that we have ever stopped somewhere that had no site available. I wouldn't recommend stopping here unless you call ahead and reserve "if" there is anything available. - User2260

Great place to stop for the night. No frills here but it looks like the owner is making improvements. Nice, level, full hookup sites. Brand new laundry/shower/restrooms. Fast WIFI. Room to walk the dog. Everything we needed to wait out 2 rainy days. - CJVJn1Doug

Stayed in site 30 that is full hook-up with a great view of the river. This is a clean well maintained park with a very good museum about Columbus during the Civil War and the forced migration of Native Americans to the Oklahoma Territory. The prime FHU sites were occupied all weekend, but on Monday only three campsites in the entire campground were in use. Only a few sites are really level, most are slightly sloped and some would be difficult to level a motorhome or trailer on. Lots of shade but we had good dish satellite reception and poor but usable Verizon. - Appleknocker

Of the half dozen parks we have visited, this is my favorite. All sites are blacktop with water and 30A electric. Premium sites have a river view and FHU. The campground was clean and well maintained. Sites were roomy. The river view sites were 100 feet deep, some with porch swings! All sites have gravel patio with picnic table and fire ring. Lots of mature trees, but none get in the way driving or backing into sites. Most sites can get a satellite signal. Our AT&T cell signal was fair. Our site was off level about 4 inches side to side and 8 inches over 15 ft front to back. We really enjoyed our stay. - Preacher Gordon

Nice and quiet. Small campground but still spacious. - ChasCape
