This was a last resort choice for us to stay after we got kicked out of a previous park for having too many kids. I cannot wait to move. There are old, trashy looking RVs, beer cans/trash all over, and quite the number of unsavory looking people around. There are also 3 sex offenders, including 2 child molesters registered here. The neighbors across the drive have a stagnant pond and kiddie pool as well as a fire pit full of trash and beer cans. The mosquitoes and flies are horrible. There's a big park dog that is allowed to roam freely. This place just sucks. When we first pulled in, I was so upset that I didn't have another option. The lot is teeny tiny and squished in between two others. One neighbor has a big fenced in backyard with some scraggly looking dogs. There is no grass, just gravel. The sewer lines are above ground. It stinks. The wifi is $20/mo extra and sucks. Seriously, can't wait for my name to come up on a waiting list elsewhere. You have to share a community mailbox with everyone in your little section of the park and hope no one steals your mail. No thank you. We camped at River N Lakes in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a nature park with 44 sites. The sites range in size from small to huge depending on the lay of the land and surrounding trees. The lady that is running it is accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we were set up and comfortable. We stayed a week for $125 and then paid for a month and that was $385. The river is not on the property but is directly behind it as the park backs up to a preserve. Beautiful hiking, and good fishing if you don't mind walking about 15 minutes to the water. All the neighbors were friendly to us, and would not hesitate to stay there again. We camped at River N Lakes in a Fifth Wheel.

We actually didn't stay here. The office is a run-down mobile home. The "manager" was next door in another mobile home. When he appeared, he wore no shoes, his socks were falling down around his ankles. He had a scraggly beard, was dirty and not presentable and appeared to be disoriented. He was scary. He said the sites were not for overnight stay, but weekly or monthly. He preferred monthly guests and the rate was $385. The entrance was poorly marked ( a small hand painted sign nailed to a telephone pole ). The pool was drained and there was some brush and trash in it. The interior roads are gravel and from what I could see in very poor condition. At most campgrounds/RV parks, you can safely sit around a campfire with other campers. I would be very reluctant to invite those I saw from the entrance to my campfire. Their website says, among other things, to "stay" in your RV. I had difficulty understanding this until I saw the place. I think it means that you're only safe if you stay inside with the doors locked. We camped at River N Lakes in a Travel Trailer.

Got to the park and not what was on web site. The office road was one way and the tight turns and brush made it hard to get our 33 foot fifth wheel through. Was not allowed to see park before paying. Tried to park us on cliff with real deep gravel started to sink. No trees like web site showed. Sewer lines on top of ground, stopped up. We paid for month, got back all but 35.00 back for their trouble. Will never go back. We camped at River N Lakes in a Fifth Wheel.
