Park is in great shape. Quiet, lots of deer to feed. Road getting to the park is very rough. We camped at Holiday Villages Medina in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Bandera is the cowboy capital of the world. Lots of history. 45 minutes from downtown San Antonio. For the motorcycle riders, Twisted Sisters is available for the riding pleasure.

Chose this park because it was affiliated with Coast to Coast. After driving about 10 miles down a paved country road, filled with numerous potholes, arrived at a locked gate to what appeared to be a trailer park. Called the number to the "clubhouse" and was told someone would arrive to allow us entry in a few minutes. After more that a 15 minute wait, we followed another vehicle in. Found the RV park, which was behind the "clubhouse". It was completely empty, not one rig. We drove around to select a spot and observed that the grass at all spots was extremely high, I mean at least 2 feet high - obvious has not been mowed in a long time. Most spots had picnic tables that were so warped by the sun they were unusable. We picked a spot in front of the restroom/shower building and my wife went in to use the restroom and I parked. She came right out and said there were 2 women and a man in the ladies room and that the room was very trashy, she was a little spooked. She also noted there were no locks on the door. While I was waiting on the wife, I looked at the spot's power pedestal that looked like it had been backed over. I would not have hooked up to it. We decided that this park wasn't for us so we just left. We did not go into the "Clubhouse" so I can't comment on the staff. We did feel that it was a shame the park was in such a sad state of repair, the area actually looked pretty nice with lots of shade trees. Wonder if their Coast to Coast affiliation is still valid? I would not recommend this RV Park. We camped at Holiday Villages Medina in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a great restaurant in Bandera called "OST". Great food and a very reasonable price. The restaurant had tons of John Wayne memorabilia.

Since this park was listed with coast to coast we endeavored to book a site. When we called the park directly on a Wednesday and were advised that we needed to call coast to coast which we did. However when we called back there was no answer and a voice mail about office closure Monday to Wednesday and to leave a message for a call back- no call back ever came. We actually found the park in the dark after numerous misplacement or rather we think we found the park. There was no actual signage So if indeed we did find it and what we saw were sites we would not fit due to low hanging wires.

We ended up finding our way back out in the dark and going further down the road to a easier access grounds. Definitely not planning to return. It is my understanding that we were able to cancel the remaining 8 nights but forfeited a night as a no show. So definitely, absolutely not returning This is 7 miles down a paved road which then turns to a almost 2 lane unmarked, pothole ridden dirt road. We camped at Holiday Villages Medina in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate is Coast to Coast. This park is in the hill country and rather remote. The road to it is very hilly with lots of dips that potentially can flood and close the road to the park. You have to go slowly. We left the park early because a major rain storm was coming and the road probably would be closed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The park could use some maintenance, e.g., grass cutting. The clubhouse and pool are nice. The sites are level but close together. Not many RVs were in the park when we were there. It is a good idea to call ahead if you are arriving on a Monday through Wednesday since the office is closed, even if you have a reservation. We would not stay here again. We camped at Holiday Villages Medina in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice hill country park. 50Amp pull thrus. We have slides on both sides and a 12 ft carpet. As that makes about 22ft, sites are wide in my book Free WiFi is unreliable. AT&T and Verizon both work well. Clean restrooms and showers and nice Laundry. Large pool in season. Small fitness center. Lots of deer. Lake is dry. Park is 7 miles down a dead end road. But it is paved and all but last 2 miles has yellow line down the center. Not an issue. Bandera is a great little tourist town. Will definitely stay again. Rate is C2C Premier. We camped at Holiday Villages Medina in a Fifth Wheel.

Was here in off season so could be different at other times of the year. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are uneven and close but clean and well maintained. We stayed on Monday and Tuesday nights, clubhouse is closed Monday through Wednesday but pool is open. We are Coast to Coast premier members so we did not pay for the camping directly so price is based on what lower-tiered members pay in trip points. Road to campground is a bit hairy but it a beautiful area. We camped at Holiday Villages Medina in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is coast To Coast. This is 30 site campground with all Pull-Thru sites. Road and sites are paved. They have 100's of acres yet the sites are very close together. They are set up to sell lots for homes or RV's. The road to the park is a secondary road and not the best road for a large RV. We did not have any problems. Its is about 9 miles from Bandera. It is way out in the hills of Hill Country. There is much wildlife. They have access to Lake Medina. At this time the lake is down 25 feet so impossible to lunch a boat. Not the fault of the RV Park. If the sites where spaced further apart and the access road where better this park could be 9. With wifi and cable it could be a 10. It is very quiet and peaceful. We camped at Holiday Villages Medina in a Fifth Wheel.
