Our SMART group meets here every year for Super Bowl weekend. Great meeting hall. Lots of big spots for your RV. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were only there for one night. It had been raining for a week and the sites all had puddles and mud. But the wifi was pretty good. The hiking trail was nice for walking the dogs, and we saw the longhorn steers. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

On Wednesday nights, the 11th Street Cowboy Bar has open grills. You bring your own meat to grill, they supply everything else for $7, and they have great live music. The O.S.T. (Old Spanish Trail) Restaurant has a cheap, good breakfast in an interesting setting.

Convenient to town and quiet, restful atmosphere. Enjoyed watching and feeding deer, donkeys and watching the two longhorn steers. Nice walk to Medina river. Bank is steep down to river but worth the effort. We were with friends and our sites 155 and 157 were not level. Low hanging tree branch hindered being able to pull to optimum level. That would be only complaint. Would recommend site 157 for great view of pasture. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bring deer corn to feed herds of deer that come into park in evening. Donkeys like to corn, apples and carrots.

We have visited Skyline for years, staying from 4 nights to a month on these visits. Management is very friendly and accommodating. Park is convenient to Bandera, offering eateries, dancing, interesting shops and is a short drive to Kerrville which offers abundant shopping, museums and restaurants. The park offers recreation rooms, laundry, library, and has 2 longhorns and 2 donkeys, and access to the Medina River. Many deer come through the park daily. Great to take grandkids to expose them to wildlife, river, and an atmosphere of country living. Highly recommend to any one that is not looking for 'big city' attractions. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Price quoted is based on the $180 weekly rate. This is a nice park with good sites. Pull thru sights are large. Didn't use the bathrooms or showers. There are about 20 deer that come through in the morning and evening and a pasture area with two longhorns and 2 mules that show up close to park for the night. The wifi is good but you can be on for 60 min. then have to re-logon. Overall this is a good park to stay at and be able to see the area and San Antonio is 50 min away. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rally rate. Roads and sites gravel. Great staff unique setting. Older park, spacious sites, treed, many full time residents. 2 rally rooms, longhorn cattle, roaming deer and just minutes from Bandera town. We have stayed here numerous times in past. Stayed one night. We arrived on Sunday and office was closed. None of the phone numbers on door answered. We just took an empty site and checked in on Monday. Staff was friendly. Campground roads are gravel and in fair to good shape. Some sites more level than others. We stayed in front part of park and sites were good size - not cramped. We did not use any of the facilities. There are lots of deer in campground and short hiking trails in the back. This is ideal location for access to Bandera and Hill Country. We were checking this park out as a possible destination for our New Years Eve camp out with our grandchildren. Not fancy but very acceptable. we will return here in a few weeks fro 3 nights. Sites 7 & 8 are buddy sites. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for five months during the winter. We heard numerous complaints about the management. They were not very accommodating. Other RVers were very friendly. Had lots of activities. I agree with other reviews that the park is very dusty and dirty because of the dirt roads. It was very muddy when raining. Probably would not recommend it based on the management. Bandera is a quaint cowboy town. Kerrville is about 40 minutes drive with anything you need or want. Local grocery was decent priced.

We have been staying here since May. I have to respond to the previous review. The man who posted that was frequently drunk, waving down other guests and yelling at them for driving too fast. He did it to us once and we were at the speed limit. yes there is dust, it's a gravel and grass park. Yes, the owners are older, but the staff is friendly, helpful and now with a few more workers arriving, the grounds are mowed and look very nice. It is an older park. Some cable and WiFi. The wifi is 'variable' but the walk to the river and deer, steers and mini donkeys are all really pleasant. Gravel and grass Park. Sites have some shade. it's an older Park, but the walk to the river, the longhorns, deer and mini donkeys are great. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a month, thus the $10 a night plus elec. We have stayed here on and off for 15 years. Problem, the owners are in their 90's and have no clue. The sites were overgrown with weeds, the workcamper's say problems are not their concern. Seems the owners are more interested in having rally's rather than having Winter Texans. The residents and rally folks have no respect for speeding in the park, thus the dirt/dust is ridiculous. The owners are really nice folks, but due to their age, the Park has gone downhill.

This is a established Park with gravel roads and gravel sites. Problem is there has been no control of the sand burrs and walking a pet or just walking in the park you track the burrs into your RV. Years ago, they sprayed for the weeds, but not now. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were there when the park was very full for the 11th Street Cowboy Mardi Gras. Since we were closer to the exit we had to deal with more noise and dust being kicked up by the passing vehicles. Our site was not very level. There is also a bar next door to the campground. That can be a plus or minus depending on your taste. We didn't mind it. March was rainy and cold, so gravel driveways, streets and parking pad were a mess. It's winter so some trees bare, but grass was trying to stay green. Owners go out of their way to be accommodating. Many full time residents and snow birds. Rally hall was great. We had 23 FMCA coach members. Town is short distance, shopping, grocery and Kerrville is an easy ride. We have stayed here before. It gets hot in summer. Longhorn streets in pastures adjoining park. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate noted is based on monthly rate. This was a nice well maintained campground. We were in a site with a new electrical post and others had been replaced/upgraded. Wifi was limited to an hour then you had to log on again. It was fun seeing the 2 burros and 2 longhorns in their field. Tons of deer are there both white tail and axis. A few rally groups came by since they have great facilities for them. We would definitely stop here again. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park. The owners and staff treated us like family. We camped here with 7 other couples and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The sites are large pull thru with full hookups. The Wi-Fi and cable worked good. There are 3 rec rooms that can accommodate the largest rallies. There is a small pond on the way down to the Medina River. We will definitely be back. We camped at Skyline Ranch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice, quiet, shady park, about a half mile from the river. Lots of white tail deer in the area, as well as the park's longhorn cattle and mini donkeys. Spots are large (#82 is HUGE)and easy to get into. WiFi & cable weren't the best, but that may have had to do with numerous storms. All in all, a very pleasant park.
