Alamo Fiesta RV Resort? More like Last Resort. Do you like a comfortable stay at a park that treats you like family? Do you like quiet nights without highway noise to keep you up? Do you like internet while you're traveling? How about cable TV? Do you enjoy hanging out with friends and family at your RV site? BBQ'ing or maybe having a fire to get the feel that you're camping? How about management that treats you respectfully? An owner that gives a damn? If so, you will be sorely disappointed with the Alamo Fiesta RV Last Resort. Nice access to I-10, just don't expect your standards to be met. When you hire someone that lives in the RV Park to run the RV Park, well, it gets run like an RV park. NOT A RESORT.

30 and 50 amp when available. May have no electricity when it exceeds 100' because the electrical is sorely outdated and shorts out. Your site will smell like a sewer because it floods every time it rains more than 2 inches. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Site was not level. Had to use blocks to get my motor home level. While doing this, I couldn't help but notice the EMPTY level concrete pad right in front of me. This site stayed empty during my stay, so I didn't understand why it wasn't used for overnighters. Most sites are filled with permanent residents, one of whom woke me up at 4am going to work. I suppose the scarcity of RV spaces in the area justifies the $50 a night fee, but the park wasn't in that league. Very good WiFi and cable TV. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate noted is a monthly rate. It is plus electric, which can add $150 or more to the cost during hot Texas summers. This is a good place to stop if you are passing through, but is also good for longer stays. An easy drive into San Antonio. Many long term rentals, but folks are pleasant, and the park is quiet and well-maintained. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The billboard proclaiming Alamo Fiesta RV Resort as "Boerne's Elite RV Resort" is tattered and faded; sort of like Fiesta RV. Perhaps their claim is an aspirational statement? Or, perhaps, Fiesta RV is Boerne's "Only RV Resort"? Either way it's not a "resort" and it's certainly not elite. Fiesta is a big, sprawling, reasonably-well-maintained RV park with plenty of full-time residents. On the plus side our site had level concrete pads, adequate size and utility set up and the park has a convenient compressed air station with a brand new hose on a reel. They've got propane for sale and the staff is friendly. On the downside it is modestly overpriced at $45 and can be very tricky to get into and out of; even though it is close to I-10. Also, the bathrooms are supposedly undergoing renovation but that is not an excuse for them being unkempt and devoid of toilet paper at a particularly vulnerable time. Bottom line, if you don't care about the location and have no interest in checking out the sights in Boerne/San Antonio/Fredericksburg/Kerrville, et al then you probably want to shop for something better. But if you do want to be close to some or all of those places during your stay this may be your place. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go down the street to downtown Boerne. The Dodging Duck brew pub has good beer and great food. Bear Moon Bakery and the Daily Grind are good breakfast options.

One night on way through. Close to I10, friendly staff, propane available, concrete pads, paved roads, on-site garbage pick-up daily. Fairly spacious with newly planted trees so it may be quite hot in summer but as a fall or winter stop it was great. Will definitely stay ago. Cable a little fuzzy (it may be my unit only??) but lots of channels. Internet was very good. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was our second stay in the past couple years. I booked last minute and the staff accommodated, which was greatly appreciated. We used the pool with our 8 year old which is a nice option. Site was fine. Good shade and quiet at night. Only areas of recommended improvement are the wifi and cable - both are pretty awful. Cable says there are several channels, but none of them came in very well and could barely get a wifi signal. At $50/night, one would expect these to work well and they did not, but overall a nice place and would stay again. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We had reservations and paid for a "deluxe" site. It was a cement pad in a large parking lot. The spaces were close together and we were lucky to only have one neighbor and not two. There were several sites like ours but in walking around with the dog we saw that the main campround had beautiful sites with grass and trees and gravel pull throughs - some of them empty. Don't know what we did to deserve the site we were assigned but you can be sure we won't be back. In addition, we picked up a huge nail in our tire as we were pulling out. We were not happy campers. Never again. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

They take liberties to add "resort" to the name there - although the price reflected it. Sites were pedestrian, very tight, and not particularly attractive. We stayed in order to be close to some places that we planned to visit, but I considered it to be just an overnight stop sort of place - not a resort. It appeared that a good percentage of the people were long-term residents. Others have mentioned the bad Wi-Fi, and it was indeed bad. I've used faster dial-up. They claim to have updated their system and had a sign at the front desk soliciting feedback, but I think they know that whatever updating they did was not working. A December comment said wireless and cable were terrible. They overrated it. It is worse than terrible. The office looks at their equipment in the office and it says it is OK, but obviously they have NEVER actually tried it. They tried to tell me this is a new system and should work really well. HA - what a joke. Their TV handout says they have about 24 cable channels, but when I scan for channels, I come up with 12, most of which are terrible quality and none good. But if you don't need wireless or cable (there are 11 OTA channels available), it is a nice place. Not spacious, but OK. Maybe overpriced. Their website quotes one price, but it was a little lower at the front desk. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for two weeks and were in a "deluxe site". There are 228 sites, but the majority are for permanent residents. Our site was barely wide enough to put out our awning. It would touch the next campers slide. About 7' between pads. WiFi extremely slow. Noise - high. Definitely not a resort. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
