Excellent value. Nice covered area for check in (out of the sun or rain). Also covered pool. Showers were private and very well done. Great security, (given a remote for the gate after hours). Roads are excellent but the sites are 2 cement strips, no patio at all. Off your steps is dirt/grass. The area is beautiful with a lake, fields, & cows. But I guess an airline executive designed the place and crammed in all the sites that could fit on top of each other. If you let out your awning likely you will hit your neighbor's RV. The little built in table was inches from your neighbors rear bumper so no sitting outside as you won't feel comfortable. All in all though, for the value it is an excellent campground and will stay with them again. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean and neat RV spots. Easy access roads and level. Disappointed in amenities. Only table is fixed behind RV spot. It's almost as if they didn't want you to grill outside. Not convenient to use. Crowded spots. No cable tv. Not much shade. Easy place to stay overnight but not for a long term. If there where better amenities, I'd rate this a 8. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Nice park. Sites were level and fairly close together, but didn't feel crowded. They were two cement tire tracks to park on which worked, but the grass was tall under the RVs parked longer term. Little store/office with clothes and wine, but nothing else that I noticed. It didn't appear to be open on Sunday when I pulled out. One odd thing was that the sites had a table, but it was located just a few feet from our slide on the drivers side. A table on that side of the camper would normally be for the neighbor but was too close to our camper to be usable by them without feeling odd. There is an indoor pool which I did not visit. Our site was a bit longer than our truck disconnected and our 35' 5th wheel. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

As others have mentioned, there's not much close by. There was a large grocery store a few miles north (towards Tyler) on Hwy 69 and a large, well stocked convenience store with a Hamburger fast food restaurant about a mile in the same direction. Tyler is worth a visit if you have the time. Large enough to have all the big box stores.

Nice quiet, clean park with reasonable spacing between sites. Accommodated our 45 foot MotorHome and tow vehicle in a pull through space. No fire pits or grills - just a table (bring your own chairs). Indoor pool that we didn't use. Adjoining property (same owners) has wine tasting/purchasing. Nice facility but we didn't check it out because we were there for a family function that took all our free time Good park. We stayed there before and will definitely stay again. The park is well laid out and beautifully maintained. Roads and sites are concrete. The only fault we found was no cable. We were able to get good tv reception with the antenna though. Good Wi-Fi. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

Great park. NO useable WiFi, though. They have a grassy park, VERY strict about their rules particularly regarding dogs. Spaces are spacious and very well designed. This is the only park I’ve ever seen that parks you on parallel cement strips. Very few pull-thrus and no cable connections are the only reasons this is not a 5 star park. Very obvious that the owners are in tune with their patrons. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

The interior roads and campsites are concrete. Grass is lush and well kept. A small pond warns of an alligator sighting and advises not to go in the water. We discovered coyotes have been eating the ducks. A ranch next door has cattle lazily grazing all day long. All hookups worked fine. There is a very nice meeting room available. The pool and hot tub liked nice but we didn't go in. Someone said the hot tub was not hot. The laundry room is nice but hit or miss. Every time we went in, there was someone doing sheets and linens from a B&B. All the machines were taken by that business. The bathrooms and showers liked very nice. Someone was always working hard every day to clean the area. There are five small dog runs to use. The WiFi worked pretty well. More people means slower performance. All in all, this was a very nice campground. The staff are very friendly and industrious. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, spacious, level, paved sites. Only negative was there were lots of fire ant hills. I think they could have done a better job at treating them. Otherwise this was a beautiful place. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is the second time we have stayed here for a week while visiting family. Very nice park that is well maintained. Nice fishing pond, pool and hot tub. Individual small dog areas which is unique. Shower/bathroom rating is well deserved. Easy in and out off of highway. Four covered areas with picnic tables and grills and adjacent fire pit. We were next to a long term rv whose site was unkempt and dog had worn a muddy mess, but owners assured that they were addressing this. Otherwise all sites in very nice shape. Concrete strips for rv wheels with grass in between. We had some sporadic wifi, but may have been our site placement. The tables are permanent, square, and in inconvenient place at most sites. Nice wide roads. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 2 weeks attending to needs of relative in area. Friendly, accommodating staff, easy check-in. Sites are as described by others. We had one of the few real shady areas which was a blessing. Water pressure very low especially once the park fills up some. Excellent wifi. Verizon 1-2 bars, ATT 2-3. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Neighbors sewer hose and electrical box was about 3-4 feet from our front door. Very poor design of spaces. The tires were on two concrete runners that was just large enough for the tires to set on. Our awning was about 2 feet from neighbors slide-out. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground. We stayed overnight passing through. They gave us a site right next to the pool area though, and other guests were constantly walking through our site. We also had trouble leaving early the next morning due to other campers parking in the road on one of the curves. it was challenging with our long 5th wheel. Sights are two concrete strips with grass in between, and camp policy is very clear: don't step on the grass Sam. Unfortunately, they are ridiculously unlevel. Front of the coach down by nearly 6 inches passenger side, 2 on driver side. Who lays concrete like that for coaches? Showers were attractively decorated, and generous in space. All facilities seemed well maintained. As is common, visitor spots are near the highway, and very noisy. Would only stay here again as a pit stop. On the plus side, had coach and car detailed by CJ's Mobile RV Auto Detailing and RV Washing. They come to your site, and do an awesome job. We leave looking better than we arrived. Got to like that. CJ was recommended by the park, so credit to them for that. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

This is the third time to stay here. We stayed six nights and found that nothing could have been better. The site is very close to town making trips for groceries and fuel handy. Sites are concrete with good, full 50A hook ups: You will need a 50 to 30 adapter if you use 30A. Highway traffic noise is almost unnoticeable. Courteous and helpful staff. When we first arrived, we thought this must be a fairly new park because everything looked so clean and well-maintained, but we learned that it was actually that has been there for a good number of years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Right after we had parked in our well-kept and mowed pull-thru site, a camp worker came and placed boards under our jack. That was a first for us. The sites are grass except for the two strips of concrete where your tires are supposed to rest. They take their grass very seriously at this campground. It's bright green, thick, and kept mowed. DO NOT PLACE ANY MATS OR CARPETS ON THE GRASS. This will create brown spots, and they really take protecting their green grass here very seriously. Only minor irritation was the hedge along our site, making it impossible to get into the slide-out tray to put away our hoses. Had to stow them as we were pulled forward getting ready to leave. Also had a woman in a rental trailer who had a dog that barked every time anybody walked by -- and then kept barking for 15-20 minutes more. Very inconsiderate. WI-FI was OK but slowed down during peak hours of usage. There no cable TV, but OTA reception was very good so no problem there. One nice thing about this park was the absence of perms and long-termers. No dirty, rusty, nasty-looking trailers to ruin this beautiful park. Bullard is very rural with few store and shopping, but Tyler is a quick 20-minute drive north on 69, and it has all the stores and restaurants you could possibly want. Right up the highway is a nice new fuel stop where you can fill up with diesel AND get your big rig in and out easily. All in all, this is one of the prettiest RV parks we've ever stayed in. And East Texas is a very pretty area. We camped at Bushman's RV Park AKA Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.
