This park is mostly long termers or permanents, which makes it seem junky. Lots of nice trees and the pull throughs are very long and fairly level. But they are skinny. Cable has few channels and no local channels so we had to switch between cable and antenna. A good place for one or two nights. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great stay! We stayed a week and one day. They have a weekly rate. Cable TV was good. Internet not so good. Most of this park is permanent residents. Some of the mobile homes are from the 1960's. But, everything was very neat and clean. The roads are a little bumpy. No problem with our 40 foot diesel pusher. Site was gravel. Picnic table, pull thru and extra parking. Very shady in some parts. The personnel working were great - friendly and helpful. There was a storm one night with a few limbs blown down. They had it all cleaned up early the next morning. Very convenient to Fort Worth. Our daughter lives in the TCU area, and we were only 20 minutes from her. Off of I 35 W South. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 2 months. The location is good but the park needs so much work. The inner roads are so bad and have been patched so many times. The sites have been patched and so uneven, it takes a lot to level your rig. The office staff are very friendly. We will stay here again because it is close to our family. Sure wish they would make some improvements. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Entering into park I was very concerned from the appearance. The roads are asphalt, patched with asphalt, and the patches were patched. The office staff was very nice. Our site #93 was very close to neighbors and not very level at all. The cable TV did not work well at all and, as seems to be common at most parks, the WiFi was slow. The Verizon data connection was strong and much faster.

We were visiting local friends and, due to the campground appearance, were too embarrassed to invite them over to see our brand new travel trailer.

I think there are probably better parks to stay at nearby so we probably will not stay here again. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed here a couple of times and have found this to be a nice campground run by very nice folks. We would recommend this campground as a short or long term stay. The sites have excellent facilities with water, electricity and sewer. Easy access to I-35 and I-20. Bad is if one has to come from the north the highway construction is awful. Be sure and take your time if you are coming from that way. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

At exit 38 there is very good shopping, eating establishments and plenty of service stations with the cheapest fuel prices that I found in the area

Overall Rating:

This park is located along I-35W just outside of Fort Worth. So a good location for accessing entertainment/dining/etc in the Metroplex. You can hear the truck traffic from the Interstate, but it really didn't bother us much. Roads in the park are gravel and have some washouts. Pad was asphalt and not completely level. There is a mix of premanufactured homes and travel trailers in the park. There is mix of long-term/permanent and through-stay in the park as well. Full hook-ups, pull-through sites with cable. One highlight, there are sewer connections at both the rear of the site and middle for those coaches with mid-rig drains. Can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. Very welcoming and really took care to see that we were setup and happy. Not a resort park, there is one of those furry animal places across the highway for those wanting more amenities and having deeper pockets. We were attending a workshop in Venus, TX and this was a great place for us to lay our heads each evening. We would stay here again. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Somewhat of a challenge to get to the park because of the way Texas does there service roads. The young lady gave us excellent directions; otherwise we may not have found it. The young lady working when we got there could not have been nicer or more helpful. Internet was the best and got 30+ TV stations thru the air. Very easy to get into spot and it was level. Only thing, the roads need some TLC as they are rough. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were only here for a night and it was OK for that. Interior roads are very bad and they have crazy speed bumps. Water pressure and voltage was good. Sites are close together. We would probably look elsewhere if back through here again. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great small park. We always stay in this park when we travel through this area. They meet us when we arrive, have pull-thru sites and it is a quiet, relaxing park for those of us without children. We have stayed here many times and will keep stopping here on our travels. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here for the past several years, around Christmas and Thanksgiving. The management took care of a maintenance request the next day. Freeway noise is a reality, and the interior roads are a little rough. Many workers in the park get up early. The Wi-fi worked good, and the 50amp was reliable. We will stay here again. Would have liked to stayed here longer; was very nice. Pull through space was longer than the RV and two cars. Has easy access to I-35. Has a nice laundry room; reasonable prices. Very park-like with trees, patios, tables; the whole park is very neat and tidy. Highly recommend. Hope to come back. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paved sites, roads fair, many permanent mobile homes in park and it appears that many of the other campers are people working in the area and staying for extended periods. Management was very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was good most of the time. Campground is very close to I-35 so traffic noise was evident. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. We stayed here for a week while doing business in the area. Would stay here again. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.
