2 RV Parks near Canadian, Texas
Jan 2019 - $20.00
Perfect stop over spot. Level back in spots. Easy to hook up to water and electric, easy access to the dump station. Walking area across main street on the river. We stayed overnight on our way to south Texas. Had the place completely to ourselves. No reservations, first come first serve. Unless a rodeo is happening, I don't imagine getting a spot would be any kind of an issue. - wyomingconnie

We used this park as an overnight stay twice to and from South Dakota. I think there are two parks here - one is the city park and the other the county rec park. Coming from town if you turn right before the rodeo area just after the highway dept building is where we stayed. We stayed in site 5 both times. All sites are back-in sites with asphalt pads. Good electric and water. Nice shade coverage from the trees. I was able to get satellite reception. The first time there seemed to be a lot of traffic to and from neighborhood down the road. Second stay heard a little train noise, but nothing bothersome. I would definitely stay here again possibly adding a day to check out the cute little town. The other campground is a little further down Hwy 60. Did not have time to check it out. During our stays we were the only one there. Dump station is conveniently located on your way out and trash dumpster is nearby. Pay by envelope by the dump station. - MelindaK

Nice place for a one night stay. We stopped on a Sunday in mid May and were the only campers there. You pay at a self pay box located at the dump station. Nice setting in the park with shade trees and relatively level sites. Only negative was some train noise at night but it was far enough away, it did not bother us that much. - TexasBill
