An older but nice park. Some full time residents. Streets are paved. Spaces have packed gravel. The sewer outlet was too far back for us to use. Had we unhooked the toad we could have made it. Nice manager. Each space has a small srip of grass surrounded by a curb. There is a table at each site. The amount of space is adequate. The free Wi-Fi was the best I have ever seen in a park. Over 10 mbps download speed. Verizon showed four bars. Some highway noise. We would stay here again. We camped at RV Park USA in a Motorhome.

Mostly full time residents with half dozen spots for transient travelers. Nice laundry. Dumpster has a lock on it so enter code. Old sites with some very rutted gravel plus raised concrete curbs to maneuver around. Power and water were fine. Large rigs may struggle to make immediate right off of highway onto service/access road to park. Propane tank says "out of business". We stayed here to be close to family in Waring. We camped at RV Park USA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Old town of Comfort has Huckleberries shop, a nice cafe/history and nearby Trading Post furniture and decor shop. Close to Boerne, Kerrville ( Lake View restaurant with good seafood), Camp Verde General Store (interesting stop) and Fredericksburg...fun towns with lots to see and do ( Cypress Grill - great, shops, antiques, etc. ). Sister Creek Winery was a nice stop, too.

close to I-10 but park is quiet. Sharp turn to enter park roadway but not too difficult even when towing a car. Sites very narrow, with raised curbs around them...making difficult to move around. There is a cement patio & table. Staff very friendly & helpful. Speed bumps in roads are difficult to see & not good for motorhomes. Excellent WiFi & cable. We camped at RV Park USA in a Motorhome.

A little difficult to find but I have discovered that Bing maps are far from accurate, very quick turn as you exit the I10 almost a U turn. That said it is a cozy park in the middle of a subdivision. Sites are close but long enough so no need to disconnect, level and pea gravel with curbs on both sides. Internet was slow but did not drop out. Water and sewer were acquitted but the power went off several times with no storms in the area. Overall good stop over park but you must negotiate thru neighborhood streets to exit. Would stop again. We camped at RV Park USA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice quiet park just off I-10, but traffic noise is not an issue. The park entrance is a very quick right turn from the EB off ramp, then stay left of the gas station. I have been told that children are not permitted in the park, and I did not see any. But the park literature does not mention that fact, so if it is an issue, better check first. The owner, Penny, is friendly and knows the business. There are many permanent sites, but the park was not full when we were there. The interior roads are paved with some stratigically place speed mounds. The sites are gravel and quite level, and they have conc curbs. This makes the campground neat, but does restrict wide turns for long motorhomes. The curbs also make your basement connections even lower. The sites are quite close together, but we were next to the laundry which gave us a little extra patio room. The hookups are close together and close to the curb. Voltage was steady in the 118-20 range and the water pressure was good. The cable channel selection was small, analog, and the reception was awful. The cable connection was a female coax connector. If I hadn't had a coax connector, there would nave been no cable. The Wi-Fi was quite good until mid week when the connectivity broke down. We were here to visit friends and will return. We camped at RV Park USA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The main attraction is the Texas Hill Country scenery. Comfort is a small town but the is major shopping in Boerne 15 miles south. The nearby cowboy town of Bandera is interesting.

Check-in process was easy. Lady at the front desk was very pleasant. Sites are narrow. Picnic table was available and partitioned from other site. Good overnight stop but a little expensive since no discounts like Good Sams or Passport America were available. We camped at RV Park USA in a Travel Trailer.

Super nice facility and very helpful staff. Park is spotless, and WiFi excellent. Good over-the-air tv reception, and a Love's Truck Center is a very short distance away. Close to interstate - easy on and off - but no road noise at all in the park. Would happily stay here again - highly recommended. We camped at RV Park USA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This RV park is old therefore the roads and sites are very narrow and it is not intended for big rigs. We strongly would suggest that big motorhomes search for another park to stay overnight. We pulled in around 5 pm, there was no staff on site, friendly staff on the phone but we had to drop our cash through a drop box in the door and find a spot to park ourselves. We had unhook our tow because the roads and sites are very narrow. There are curbs on each side of the sites which makes it difficult to pull in to park. We had to unhook our tow in order to get into our site. The park appears perfect for Class Cs and smaller trailers, but not a good place for Class As and 45 footers. We will not stay here again. We camped at RV Park USA in a Motorhome.

Maintenance and cleanliness by the current staff was exceptional. residents and transients were friendly alike. Access to the park easy off I -10. Utilities good. Short term stay pull throughs close together, backins roomier. If a back in is available, consider it. Highway noise and burrs were not a problem for us. We camped at RV Park USA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice adult park. Very friendly and great service. Clean bathrooms & showers. Good wifi, cable, & laundry. Nice landscaping. Workers are constantly cleaning and/or improving grounds. Easy on/off highway. We were originally staying only 2 nights. Ended up staying about 10 days. Penny (owner) gave us the weekly rate ($175) when we decided to stay. Very nice. Bottom line, this is a very nice adult park that is operated extremely well. Absolutely will return. We stayed in a fifth wheel. We camped at RV Park USA in a Fifth Wheel.

Eat at Comfort Cafe (breakfast highly recommend the Comfort Taco or Alex Taco), Cypress Creek Inn, and have ice cream at DQ. Buy drinking water. Outside water dispensers located at grocery store or on 4th street. Enjoy downtown Comfort.

This is a nice, well kept, park with friendly office staff. Power good, water pressure good, WiFi good, cable TV good. A good value and would stay here again if in the area. If you are Eastbound, the turn to get onto the road that leads into the park is a hairpin so prepare for a sharp turn while at the exit stop sign. Sites have concrete curbs and a small landing so pull to the right of your site so you do not have a gap between the RV and where your feet land. Our site was fairly level and quiet. This park is in need of some TLC. It has narrow sites with a curb on either side making it difficult to enter your site. Also, the roads are in need of repair with many jarring bumps. There are mostly permanent residents and they appear to have been here a long time. We camped at RV Park USA in a Motorhome.
