This is a small park at the east edge of Crosbyton. We stay here every time we head west to CO as it has 30 amp outlets and water/sewer. Over the last 10 years, it has gotten rundown somewhat from lack of care, but so has the entire town--I am surprised they still have the budget to support the park. Several of the power pedestals have been hit by careless drivers, and not all of them work--check before setting up. I don't find the highway noise objectionable, and it drops off after dark. No charge for first 4 days, but donations accepted. There are 6-10 sites, but not all of them work correctly. - wingnut60

This city "park" is a level gravel area with nothing but full hook-ups to recommend it. There is one grill and one table with cover. The first 2 nights are free and then it's $10. Nice town, but road noise quite constant. OK for overnight. - bugsy

First 2 days are FREE then $10 a day after for whatever length of stay. Register at City Hall after you unhook. Very helpful staff at City Hall 8 sites that are 20 & 30 amp Only and a easily accessible dump at back of CG as well as 2 large garbage bins Very level gravel pull thru sites I had no problems with a 32' Travel Trailer and Pull Truck in this spot without unhooking. Nearby dollar store & eating places. Next door is a gas station where you can also top off propane tanks, nearest Wal-Mart is 25 mi in Silverton. Everyone I met in this town was super friendly and helpful. I stayed a week during spring break waiting for Caprock Park to become available. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Texas again and visit local businesses. - Tj Hunter

I never got the WiFi to work but, we did not have the password. The little park is quiet and water/electric was fine. It was free so no complaints. Loved the Boston Terrier museum. A friendly little town. We would stay again. - D Vaughn

This little park is a true diamond, and a gift to RV travelers. With a nightly fee of $0 for the first three nights and $5 after how can you go wrong! I have paid over $50 and got a lot less for my money. The park is convenient, clean, well lighted and extremely well kept. Roads and sites are gravel and well maintained. There is some shade at each site. Good water pressure and electricity. Strong Wi-Fi. There is some road noise but we did not find it too objectionable. The folks at the city hall where you sign in, are very friendly and helpful. The town has a few restaurants that are, on balance, pretty good. About the only thing keeping this park from a 10 rating is the fact that it does not have sewer hook up and cable TV. They do have a dump station however, and it is in good shape and convenient. There are no other RV parks for twenty-five miles to the east and perhaps as much as forty miles in all other directions. PS Had to put $1.00 because this site will not take $0. - oldtexascowboy
