May 2018 - $40.00
Nice park with a great manager. Sites are concrete with built-in tables and BBQ stand. No fire pits!! Very nice pool. View of the lake. Only negatives are very little shade and power went out for 3-4 minutes several times while we were there. - number one
Apr 2018 - $48.00
Park is actively managed, owner is hands-on in taking care of guests. Rules are reasonable but strictly enforced (one guest was ejected after a few hours for being rude and non-compliant). Amenities are extensive, regular social gatherings are common and there is a calming view of Lake Tinney. Water pressure & electricity were both good. Did not use park WiFi, no cable TV. Laundry facility small, but modern and clean (could use more parking space). Roads are well-developed and heavily graveled. Guests are mainly extended stay and snowbirds, all very friendly and helpful. This is off the beaten path, yet close to banks, groceries, Wal-Mart, etc. We stayed in a pull through space (concrete & level) in a fifth wheel. We stayed 10 days. As full-timers, we will most likely return next year for a longer stay. - TMN-15
Jan 2016 - $33.00
Super clean sites, excellent laundry, clear satellite view, extremely helpful owner, many friendly winter Texans, great lake view, security gate, nice pool, hot tub, top-notch power/water/sewer, many group events, etc. Rate is Good Sam 10% off.
This place has it all and deserves a 10! We would definitely stay again. - wandrr
Oct 2015 - $100.00
Extremely quiet. You'll have to make sure your camper can hold fresh water; they have a pump/well, but you have to fill your unit up before you park. They will draw out the hose to fill your RV without moving; they are really good about making sure you're good like that. - ChrisLWT
Nov 2017 - $30.00
The place is fairly new, some spots still need road base, place is very friendly and quiet. The monthly fee is only $400.oo and includes water, electric, and sewage. Cable is coming soon. Good place for long term. - Jda422
Apr 2019 - $45.00
We were at COTA for an event that was going to start early in the morning and run all day, so we took the Airstream to make life easier. There are several weird/inconvenient things about this campground, though it was useful to us to stay there. 1) signage: The first time you see an RV sign coming up COTA Blvd from FM812, you've already past the actual entrance and the sign directs you to a secondary gate that is chained shut, with no info about where you should go. There's a security shack by a sign that says "Tunnel 2" that's where you actually need to turn to enter. As mentioned by another reviewer, the sites are design for you to pull forward with your motorhome or tow vehicle against the fence. If you're coming just to stay onsite this is OK (if a little weird) but if you back in so you can unhitch and use your truck, you'll need long water and electrical lines. Power was stable (though there were very few other RVs when we were there.) More-expensive sites are available with full hookup. Those sites cost 50% more. The dump station is DUMB. There are 2 sewer inlets and 1 water faucet, that's about 25' from the sewer inlets. There's just no reasonable way you can rinse your sewer hose or run your tank rinser unless you carry a long non-drinking hose for such purposes (and a sprayer). There's no way I'm hooking my drinking-water hose up to the faucet at a dump station, and no way to get your sewer hose close enough to the faucet to run rinse water into it. For another event at COTA we'd stay there again but not for any other reason. There is NO shade, which can be an important consideration much of the year in Texas. Power was decent, I didn't have enough hose to hook up water when backed in so I just filled up the freshwater tank and ran the pump. - DKB_SATX
Jul 2018 - $110.00
This is an RV park located at the Circuit of the Americas race track. This location also hosts multiple concerts and a variety of venues. If you plan on attending a concert here or a race, it's a great way to treat yourself and stay on site. No worries about drinking and driving home. Hosts are great and a short walk to the main entrance of the park. Sites also face part of the race track so you can enjoy watching right from the RV spot. Sites are designed to pull into as all hookups are to the left of each space. If you back in you need very long hoses to run under your RV to get to the hookups. The sites are really designed for trailers that you can pull into and face the fence. Luckily we had no neighbors so the host let us connect using the hookups for the spot next to us. We had a large 5th wheel. - Rusty and Janet
Sep 2012 - $38.00
Clean park but watch out for the extra charges, I did not know there was a deposit expected until I was already unpacked, and I did not know there was a 3% charge passed onto me for using a debit card; he prefers cash. The Wi-Fi only worked sometimes when I was there, but never fear, there is a McDonald's nearby. You could not walk 2 feet without getting stickers on your shoes, pants, or if you had flip flops that was dangerous walking across the grass. I didn't like the "find out as you go" rules, I never saw that rule about the 3% fee to use a debit card until I used one. I think this owner is new at the park thing and is not user friendly. So read all the rules before you check out, Oh and I never saw any creek water etc. while I was camped there. - tizwhizkid
Sep 2019 - $29.00
Quiet park about 30 minutes east of downtown Austin. We were in Site 56 which was about 5 inches out of level front to back. Interior roads are asphalt, sites are gravel. Majority of sites are long-term stay. Work out room is clean and all equipment is in good condition. Pool is clean. Park is gated with code provided for after hours. Tight for big rigs (we have a 45' class A) - pull-thru sites are not on an angle and pulling in and out is a challenge due to width of roads and trees. Only 2 bars of Verizon 4G. - BnK_RVLife
Jun 2019 - $56.00
Great place to stay. Clean and everyone is super nice. Great WiFi really good cable. No electrical issues good water pressure bathrooms are large clean and private. Pool is super clean. Has a nice enclosed dog park. Close to Austin or Bastrop. Paved streets but not the sites. - kortni10
May 2019 - $33.00
Averaged $33 / night with Passport America discount ($50 without) for water/electric/50 amp/sewer/cable/wifi. Excellent campground about 15 miles outside Austin with easy access on a main highway. Level site, nice spacing between sites, security gate. Would definitely stay here again! - Teddi2
Apr 2019 - $14.00
The pluses are these points - Nice friendly owner-operators with hookups that all work well with no problems and OTA TV reception good. Laundry is clean with washer/dryers that accept coin and credit cards. Promptly told when mail or packages arrive and owners live on property. Minuses are these - Interior roads except in the new sites by the pavilion are absolutely terrible. Washboard type with enormous pot holes that can not be avoided, and the concrete slabs in the pull through area are breaking up and need attention. Also, and I have mentioned this before, is that permanent/seasonal folks drive too fast in this park. There are children here and folks with pets but people just don't care. - xarmoreddriver
Apr 2017 - $36.00
This is a really nice RV park just east of Austin on Hwy 71. There is highway noise during the day (if your site is up front) but it's not bad. Nice bathrooms and showers, each separate and lockable. Owners were very responsive when there were some noisy people during quiet hours, and the owners even gave us a written apology! Top notch! Sites angled so afternoon sun is on the port side of the RV, so nice shade where you want it. Grading down a bit due to very weak, very very slow WiFi. Nice laundry facility. No picnic table or firepit, but there is a central pavilion with a gas grill that we can use, with several chairs and tables. Verizon signal varies from 1 to 3 bars. Sewage connections are about 10-12 inches above ground. Our site (57) has a bit of shade, but many sites do not. We would definitely stay here again. - RobtL
Dec 2016 - $13.00
$13.00 is actually $12.50 a day for 30 day stay. Nice rv park and campground operated by nice couple that live on site. Have made a lot of nice upgrades since they bought it, including brand new pavilion, new toilet and shower house and upgraded laundry building. 10 new shorter sites by pavilion that have concrete side curbs and gravel base with fhu's for transient travelers. Our site, #29, was level pull-thru concrete with patio area and fhu's that worked well with good water pressure @45psi. Some permanents but most of those in good shape. Laundry-$1.50W,$1.00D. One con, folks drive too fast thru the park, but we liked it here and would stay here again. - xarmoreddriver
Apr 2019 - $33.00
We camp here for 2 weeks with 12 other couples. The park is among the best we have stayed in. The staff was outstanding in supporting our needs. The pool is pristine. There is a fully equipped rec hall with a full kitchen. The huge pavilion on the large 60 acre lake provided us the opportunity to have server cookouts and sit around the fire pit. They even have a on premise RV repair shop. - TexasChief
Apr 2019 - $40.00
Stayed during Moto GP week no discounts available rate is a little higher. Park was well looked after, garbage pick up every day. Park is relatively new and as it matures the grass and trees will fill-in nicely. We enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool and hot tub or well looked after. About a 20-25 minute drive to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) - Bentforks
Dec 2018 - $26.00
Hats off to the office staff! They are excellent. They go out of their way to be helpful. They're always friendly and cheerful! Access to this place is dangerous! It's a very sharp turn off a busy highway. Signage is quite low and difficult to see unless you know what you're looking for. This is an 'all in one' price which means you don't need to pay power separately. We'd love to see some patio spaces and picnic tables here. That would encourage mingling among campers and provide a space to put down a barbecue. This campground is new and is still a work in progress. Roads are poor and quite broken up. If you don't mind being out in the country and away from shopping etc this is a very pretty place with beautiful sunsets. - 34cawder
Jul 2018 - $32.00
This place was a concrete jungle. I am sorry I picked this place. Lots of full time residents but very quiet. The water & electric were good. Not very level and had to put 2 blocks on one side to level us out. Parking was strange - had a small place next to trailer lot to park. It was so hot - Texas has been hitting the 100s for the past few weeks and this place just radiated heat. I found a small wooded area next door to walk the dogs which let me out at a church with woods behind it. - Kerch Family
Aug 2016 - $33.00
First the good things, making a reservation and check in the folks were very nice. Power, water pressure and sewer were all good. Sites are all concrete however ours was not very level.
We requested a pull through as we were towing a vehicle. Was told at check in that once parked I would have to disconnect the toad since their pull through's are actually two back ins and they may have to rent the spot behind us. One of the reasons I like pull through sites is the option to leave the car hooked up or to be able to get it all hooked up the night before. Was told I would need to rent two sites if I wanted a true pull through.
Sites are very close together, no picnic tables and not enough room between the units to put one. Water hook ups are below ground and ours was flooded so you had to reach down into a pail of water to hook up the water hose. Our site had a small willow tree planted so close that it rubbed against the side of the coach and made it difficult to get to the back of the MH or in the basement compartments.
The grass has not been cut and needs it badly. Lots of full timers with older rigs with junk piled around their sites.
Noise level from the road and in the park is very loud and being so close to your neighbor you hear everything going on.
Last complaint is that there is no place to walk the dog except up and down the concrete drives.
Passport America discount is not the usual 50% off. We stayed here for 3 nights and we won't be back. - Razin Kane
