7 RV Parks near Goliad, Texas
Feb 2019 - $25.00
Camp is at edge of Goliad near groceries and fuel. About 62 sites, mostly seasonal campers. Electric, water, and wifi were good. Manager was very accommodating...everything was completed via phone and online. No amenities at park except fairly long and level sites with comfortable spacing. Rained really hard the whole day before we left and there were rivers of water. I was impressed that by morning, water had drained away. - Jitime40
Dec 2018 - $20.00
Great park, has all the hookups; level, roomy, gravel sites; easy to manuever even a big rig. The big chuckhole at the entrance has been resolved but the asphalt interior roads are starting to show use. The park seems to be managed by mostly by remote control but it worked fine for us. There are park hosts if a real person is needed. Wifi is pretty incredible for an RV park. And, you just can't beat the value. - fulltimer121
Oct 2018 - $20.00
Rate reflects Passport America discount. The turn onto Michael St. is very small and had a very large chuck hole in the center but we were able to maneuver without incident. Checked in with the owner, a very friendly gentleman, and he told us to choose any site we wanted. We chose #11, a long pull-though with parking on pea gravel that was fairly level. Angels is a work in progress for the young owners who have a lot of plans in the works, including changing the material for the parking pads. There are several full-time/long term residents but the maintain their sites very well. The WiFi is excellent (the best we have had in a long time) as is the view to the south for strong DTV satellite reception. There are no bathrooms or showers at this time but they are planning to build them in the near future. Very good 50 amp electrical service with adequate water pressure. We will stay here again. - StarlifterFE
Oct 2018 - $31.00
Nice park to stay. It's a little pricey if you don't have the Texas State Park pass, but it's a very nice park with full hook ups. - RJ56
Feb 2018 - $25.00
The FHU loop is very close to the Mission. The price does not include a $6 entrance fee to the State Park. The water/electric area is just a parking lot a fair distance from the Mission. The FHU area is much nicer and all of the sites are spacious pull-thrus. - Alicenpete
Feb 2018 - $20.00
This is a fairly small park, easy to walk. The strong point here is TX history.
The Jacales area (not very desirable) is an asphalt lot fringed with picnic tables and water and electric hookups backed by trees/fields depending on which side of the square you are on.
The Karankawa area is eyebrow pull throughs with full hookups and wooden picnic tables on slabs. Fire ants are a problem in both RV areas. Shower/toilets are spartan but cleaned regularly and stocked.
For big box stores you must head to Victoria or Beeville. The grocery store in town and laundry are adequate. - TRVLaround
Mar 2019 - $39.00
We have stayed at this park before however this time they have had a lot of rain and the park showed it. We were in a spot that had standing water and mud. There were some spots that we fine. It was not the fault of the park that they had so much rain. I do think they should have reviewed the available sites and close those that were bad like the our spot. The park has been one of our favorites to stay in the past. There is nice spacing and prior to the rain the interior roads were good. The park is under new management and the new owner is working on improving the sites and the roads as best he can in these wet conditions. We think it is a good park if they can improve those sites effected by the water or not use them until it dries. - JDR
Dec 2018 - $39.00
We were looking for a new place to spend the night around Victoria, since our previous campground had increased their price by about $20. KOA’s are consistently pretty good, and this one was a little cheaper, so we decided to try it. We were coming through on a Sunday and called to reserve a site. The voicemail said the office closed at 3:00 (it was 1:00 at the time), leave a voicemail. I did...several times. No one ever answered or returned my call. Finally I went online and made a reservation, since I didn’t know if any sites were available.
When we got to the KOA, there was no one in the office and no packet on the board for us, so we just picked a spot. There was a number to call on the board, and no one answered that. We never saw nor heard from any KOA personnel. I can’t recall ever checking in to a KOA in the USA without being led to the site.
There were lots of potholes in the road and small ponds in front of every pull through. The utilities were surrounded by water, in part because the faucet was leaking. It had rained the previous day, but there’s no maintenance being done to correct the low spots. The rv pad itself was fairly level. The cable did not work and the WiFi was weak. The water pressure and power were good. We did not need any of the facilities, so we can’t comment on those. We did not feel that travelers are welcome here (most of the residents were workers) and won’t be staying here again. - pbougeus
Mar 2018 - $38.00
One of the cleanest KOA parks I have ever stayed in. Bathrooms/showers were immaculate. Another nice feature was the on-site café. They serve great pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. - Franko M
Jun 2017 - $32.00
First trip here. We stayed in #12, 30/50 amp site with full shade. The road around the loop has some low trees. Our RV is 13'6 so be careful. The site are not all level but the grounds are very nice and well kept. No trash around. - Bahama
Oct 2015 - $25.00
We called ahead of time to verify the availability of an overnight site. We left a message and our number, but never received a return call. The interior roads continue to deteriorate. The WiFi had been out for a while and tech help had been called and the WiFi remained unavailable we were there. - BobatRetama
Apr 2015 - $40.00
This park is gorgeous, big nice spots with trees! The lake is beautiful - we stayed over Easter weekend and it was CRAZY CROWDED - (we won't do that again). We also had some horrible camping neighbors that stayed up all night getting super drunk and loud. The staff was very helpful when we talk to them about it the next day and they moved us to a GORGEOUS spot on the lake. The gorgeous spots on the lake are all 30 amp - but it was cool enough to make it work. I would stay here again for sure. - TommiRulz
Mar 2018 - $19.00
I like t his park. We have stayed here twice and will do so each time we pass through. We have a large 5th wheel and pull it with a Freightliner Cascadia so we really need a long site whether it is a back-in or pull-through. Their sites are plenty large enough and I didn't have to disconnect my truck so I guess my site was about 80 feet long. It was easy to get into and out of with my big rig. The management have always been accommodating and welcoming. They offer good, free, WiFi and cable TV. This is not a 'destination' park but it is a great 'overnighter'. I didn't give them a '10' because I am just too hard to please so they get a '9'. - KD7UCH
Dec 2017 - $19.00
I really wanted to like this park but unfortunately I did not and would not return. The price was certainly good using Passport America Discount ($18.68) which I had to prepay at the time of my reservation. It was really odd when you enter the park there is no signage of where the office is located, when you are pulling a big rig this is especially troubling - not wanting to have to back up any of the rows. So I called the office number I had with me and the owner said she would walk over to the office and meet me and told me the location. She was very friendly. They did have a nice selection of free DVD's available with a really small store. Our site was gravel with sparse grass, mostly red mud. My husband hates sites that are muddy so this was a red flag immediately for him. The sites are average on space. There was lots of road noise and a large amount of long term looking rigs, but most looked very neat. We would not stay at this park again. - DallasRVers
Mar 2017 - $33.00

Small park, very rustic and private. Owner so friendly and accommodating. Lots of mesquite trees, pretty level sites, and very quiet. Best WiFi I have encountered in a long time. - TXTread
