22 RV Parks near Graford, Texas
Jun 2013 - $60.00
Lakeside is a small family owned place on Possum Kingdom Lake. There are 20 nicely manicured, level sites all in a row down one length of the property. PK Lake is down pretty low (10 ft or more) due to the drought. Still a lot of fun but you have to feel for the people with immovable docks Lakeside. Owners were very nice. Place was clean utilities all worked. NO INTERNET. Pet peeve of mine since I work on the road. They have a room where you can go and check online but that's it. Had to use my hotspot. Owners have the place up for sale due to health issues. Maybe the next guys will invest in Internet. Very expensive for what you get. - Patriot04
May 2011 - $60.00
Fabulous place. Best on PK by a long shot. The hosts are awesome and immediately welcome you as a part of the family. This is our second summer here and we get a great monthly rate. All paved and level sites, plenty of parking, great central location. Excellent amenities and facilities. Our kids love it here. No shade but usually a good breeze. Boat ramp is steep but you are very close to several public ramps. Don't waste your time looking for any other RV parks on the lake. This is the one! - ShawnaMarie
Aug 2010 - $17.00
This place is great! Owners are the best in the business! There are a couple summer time full timers but they are great people. The park has a boat ramp onsite (little steep) and dock space for 5-6 boats. The pool on the water is great and well maintained. The rate shown reflects a monthly rate and includes electricity averaged in. My 5th wheel is there now and will stay there as long as the lake stays warm. This is the first full season in operation (2010) so the shade trees are still young and should be great for the 2011 season. Again, this is a great place and is at the top of my list and I'm sure it will be for a long time. - ltwindle
Jul 2011 - $25.00
This is a very quiet campground with some of the best possible hosts. They have it set up for family camping and family fun. It is on a nice beach and the sites are easily maneuvered. This isn't a RV resort with doggy walks and concrete slabs and patios. If you like camping, like we do, then this is a great bargain and a good place to get away or even host a family reunion. - tbax46
Jan 2012 - $12.00
This park is a joke. NO bathrooms or showers. It is only for monthly renters. There are older travel trailers there with no pride of ownership. They have a monthly rate of 400.00. The daily rate is 12.00. So if you plan on staying long term choose the daily rate, as it is actually cheaper. 360.00 a month at the daily rate, 400.00 a month is you pay by the month.??. BAD road going into the place, you WILL scrape your bumpers going in. They do NO clean up, because the place has trash laying around blowing into your area. Dogs run loose, barking all night, the highway noise is pretty bad. Lots of truckers. Electric is hit and miss, our box kept shorting out, and lights dimming all the time. DO NOT stay here. CASH only, and they don't do receipts. - Mr Zorg
Dec 2010 - $25.00
Park is mainly for monthly, only 1 site is open for over night, it's a pull through, but small. The owners do not run the place, the previous owner does manage it, if that's what you can call it. No one cleans, no maintenance is done here at all, faulty electrical. All utilities are paid with monthly and weekly rates. It's a very high price for such an older run down park. Hwy noise is terrible, no naps here people, big rigs running by all the time. The managers are nice enough, but can't give out receipts for your stay. Which was an issue for us. We came here to look for a home, sold our motor-home and purchased a travel trailer cheap, lots of the FEMA units for sale in Ft. Worth and surrounding area. The area has history, but nothing as for things to do, so I guess all that went with the history? You can get DSL cable internet, at the sites, but you will have to pay for it. The manager don't want anyone on his Wi-Fi, because Suddenlink will cut your account off if you download movies etc... We will not stay here again, dogs run loose, including the owners dogs, and the managers dog will bite you if you try to approach their door, not a good way to welcome people at all. - Mr Zorg
Aug 2008 - $30.00
The electrical boxes were old and need replacing, our electricity did not work upon arrival. Luckily some fellow campers were certified electricians and had the proper tools and equipment to repair the box. The cable TV also did not work. The office did not seem to care about the problems with our site, offered us no refund not even a partial! The few RV sites are at the end of what seems to be a trailer park and there are also some cabins owned by the same people that seem to be in a dire need of renovation. There is always a heavy flow of people from the trailer park cruising by on golf carts, sometimes at a very high rate of speed. The management here is not keeping up with the grounds at all. Much nicer RV sites right next door. - FrogDog26
Aug 2019 - $20.00
We had a gorgeous site on the lake and enjoyed sitting out when the heat would allow and watching the boaters. The only downside to our site was it was terribly unleveled. And the connections were on the wrong side for us to open our awning. So we opted to pull in instead of back in. If or when we come back we will try and stay in one of the other loops, they have lake views also. - True Texas
May 2018 - $20.00
This is a beautiful park right on the lake after travelling miles on the road to the park. We camped in our 35' motorhome with tow in the Spanish Oaks area. , Site 5. The back-in spots were long enough and we could park our tow at the front. A lovely covered picnic table was strangely on the other side of our motorhome which limited our use. TV reception not so good nor phones but the peace and quiet and wonderful view more than made up for that for a couple of nights. Not a great deal of shade however it was enough for us. We would stay here again. - OzFrosty
Nov 2017 - $23.00
Very well maintained. Friendly park rangers. Large, spacious, level sites. Nice hiking trails. Beautiful lake with nice swimming area, fishing pier and boating. - LP1957
Sep 2015 - $20.00
Well you get what you pay for. For $20/night it's a bargain. Don't expect a view, most of the site are full timers (oil rig folks), On the list of rules nothing about keeping the outside of your RV clean, so you may be next to someone with lots of "stuff". It is a decent enough spot to spend the weekend if you can't get into one of the nearby state parks. Gravel roads, the space (30) we had was decent. Connections were dated but usable.
No Table or Patio. Reach out and touch your neighbor, no shade in the middle sections some of the outside sections had trees. No WIFI, Verizon One bar, AT&T one bar. Did not try TV but at 6 miles from town might have been some reception.
Value would be higher if WIFI was available.
Rated high on service due to friendliness when calling to make reservation, Did not see staff when we were there (3 days), have self checking and payment box.
Cleanliness: Let's just say i'm glad our RV shower worked... - Sharpe7tex
Oct 2018 - $32.00
Rate reflects a $2 charge to use a credit card. Pulled in with no reservations but we did call ahead to make sure there was spaces available. No one in the office but someone told us to just pick as spot and the manager would catch up with us later. Went over to pay and mentioned the sign at the entrance that they offer military discount but the lady said they offer the discount to everyone. We found space 8 empty so pulled in there. There has been a lot of rain here in this area of Texas so I can understand the lack of yard care but we noticed a lot of trash on the ground around the dumpsters. Good solid 50 amp electric and great water pressure. Our Verizon cell signal was good at 3 bars of 4g service and we had a clear shot to use our onboard satellite dish. This park is about 80% long term residents. Most keep their sites clean but there are others that don't even try. We would stay again. - StarlifterFE
Sep 2016 - $28.00
This was just an overnight stay for us and we've stayed here before. The staff are charming and efficient; the park is well-kept and relatively quiet, considering how close they are located to Hwy 281; our site was level and long enough that we didn't need to unhitch. The WiFi was pretty hit or miss (mostly miss). There isn't any cable and the antenna can only pick up very few channels. The park appears to be more of a long-term place than transient, but it's just fine for an overnight. We'll probably stay there again in the future. - Paul Elliott
Jan 2015 - $25.00
This was our second stay at Rocker D because the park is well maintained, the restrooms are clean and the wifi service is satisfactory. All utilities function correctly. Rocker D is a good overnight park and we will stay here again when in the area. - OldeJohn
Jul 2019 - $24.00
Arrived at noon, we had to wait until 2:00PM for check-in. What for if we went and saw our reserved site was empty?? Apparently it depended on staff... came back an hour later, different staff, we where able to check-in no questions asked. Actually the lady was very friendly and helpful the second time. Site was very good, clean and close to restrooms. Now the big issue: the restrooms/bathrooms probably have never being cleaned! Amazing how disgusting and filthy the showers were. The toilets also were really dirty (floors and sinks). The seats were OK. Outside you can see it lacks cleaning. We hooked our trailer as we did in other parks, 30A. The problem was it was not offering full 30A. Every time we connected our coffee maker, the breaker went off. Solution was to use adapter and connect to the 50A. Mineral Wells is quite decayed. Not sure how the city survives. But the park is nice as an overall naturewise. Not sure I would come back here. - CCar18
Nov 2018 - $26.00
Entrance is a couple miles outside if town. There is a gate which is locked from 10:00PM to 6:00AM but they will give you a code to use in case you need to come or go while it is locked. Be prepared to drive through a long low-water crossing to get to the campgrounds. It will most likely have some water going over the dam, depending on recent rainfall. Utilities worked well, but water pressure is 90 PSI, so bring your regulator! Many sites are not level, so bring your leveling blocks! Showers in the Live Oak campground were rather dingy and had no place to put your belongings other than on the wet floor! Groceries and restaurants a couple miles away in town. Most campsites have good privacy with vegetation between sites. It was nice and quiet while we were there. Lots of deer wandering throughout the park. We heard coyotes and owls every evening. There is lots to do in this park including hiking, biking, fishing, boating, rock climbing, and horseback riding. Red and blue trails are scenic but also fairly rugged. Be sure to check out Penitentiary Hollow, it is very scenic. - BrentB
Oct 2018 - $24.00
We were routed through the Wolters Industrial Park since high water had closed the spillway. Very difficult turns for our truck and 35' RV! There were few visitors so it was quiet, but the site pads were narrow and ours seemed dangerous. See pictures. - NebraskaNancy
Jun 2016 - $24.00
Park is nice. Little clubbard in some spots. Management was rude. - Texas- Proud
May 2016 - $25.00
Pool was very cute, had a shallow part with two fountains for our toddler. (Although the pool edge was rock...) Pool also had a "cave" through a waterfall that you could sit in which was cute. The whole place was kept up and the bathrooms/showers were nice and clean. Front office lady was nice enough. One thing about what is on the website that was false-- website says "Playgrounds for kids." All they had was a backyard swing set deal with a slide, and it was right between the other RVs. Because of our 2 year old, I wanted a pool and a playground for sure and I felt mislead on the playground. Pad was gravel but level. There was noticeable highway noise but wasn't a concern. Power, water and sewer hook up. - JasonMont
May 2010 - $18.00
There are not enough trees to shade a gopher. This park is in the middle of nowhere, and there are no amenities. The park manager said that he hates people in general. They have no vending machines, no ice machines They are not equine friendly. There is no pool, just a site that is unlevel, road noise from 281, and no TV, unless you want to get a movie from them that also costs. The only good thing I can say about this park is that I never have to stay there again. - roving cowboy
