Mar 2017 - $1.00
As others have said, the first night is free. However, donations are appreciated (donation pipe at NW corner). There were no long term campers and there was no camp host. This park is a basic gravel lot with full hookup sites. The "facilities" for the ball park also serves as campground facilities. The door on the "Women's" side did have a working keypad lock. The "Men's" side keypad lock did not work. I only peeked in the Men's side - I would require a HazMat suit and air tank to enter past the doorway. This concrete block building also serves as the severe weather shelter. Best not to use this building and watch the weather to avoid this area in tornado season. Power, water, and sewer were all good. As noted, turn at the Dairy Queen then keep driving south. Drive to the south side of the park then turn left into park. There are not many choices for camping along US 380 in west Texas. This City RV Park is actually not a bad choice. Police station is only a few blocks away and the police do patrol the park often. The nearest grocery/Walmart is in Stamford some 17 miles south. Yes, we would stay here again (unless there is a threat of severe weather!). - geo-gypsy

Driving US Route 380 across Texas, there aren't a lot of WalMarts for free parking overnight. We were happy to come across the City of Haskell's RV park for a free one night stay. (The first night is free, after that, $16/night.) It is right near a creek area where there are nice places to walk. There were several baseball/softball teams practicing nearby (different age groups). We saw some horses in the arena beyond the baseball fields and walked over to meet folks who were practicing for reining competitions. It was nice to be in a small town neighborhood type area. Full hook-ups, easy to pull in/out without detaching toad, free - was a great choice for us! - pattic777

We were passing through and needed a place for one night. All pull thrus. Found this park in the TX Public Camping book (get at Tx. Travel Centers a must to have. Shows citys that offer RV camping most are free for one night). Free for first night, then $16. Water, Electric and sewer. Nice park, paved walking paths that are used late in the day by several people walking. Very quiet. Baseball practice next door and you might even get to see a game. Would stay here again. Only two other campers there, one looks like a host. - lolasmom

May 2017 - $35.00
Stayed at the Davis RV park for about 6 months. We enjoyed our stay there. Manager is super nice and helpful, clean big lots and quiet park. Laundry is on the site. Monthly rates are very affordable and electric bill was cheap as well. - Travel_enthusiasts

I and my fellow workers, about 15 families in all, have been staying at Davis RV Park for over the last 15 years and we are always treated with a big Texas friendly welcome and treated like family and feel at home. The lots are big and spacious, good electric and Internet, good water, friendly owners and managers. Some of us have stayed in our RVs and some in the house and mobile home rentals in site and we have always been pleased and treated well. If we have a reservation and they are expecting us they will wait up just like family on us to make sure we are backed in and hooked up to our comfort,. And no extra charge just because they are glad to have you there. We return every year and always hate to leave but we always come back only to Davis. RV park is a real park that's been there since the 60's, not one of these little new makeshift parks with bad electrical and water systems that would damage our trailers. We trust only Davis Park in this area and will always be their customers and we are thankful for the many good stays we gave had. - north Houston pole line
Oct 2016 - $35.00
Only a couple of trailers on the park, the Park Manager told us the best 30 amp spot to get Wi-Fi is A - G, Nice big Pecan Trees to shade the lot. Spacious lots, and Manager informed us no cable, but we used Hot spot on phone. Wi-Fi worked great! Good location, as Walmart down the road, and places to eat like Subway, Sonic, Pizza Hut, Blue Jeans Cafe, two Mexican restaurants, and China Wok in town square. I was even happy to see the Beer Barn which is drive thru service. Laundry on site, open 24 hours that's a + for me. We were not along side the highway so noise level was low. It's right on N Swenson close to all the amenities. - pm5963
