This park is mostly full timers living in all kinds of trailers even one horse trailer with living quarters. Pads are small and some have a drop off on the sides and ends. A lot of working people living here so there is a lot of early morning traffic leaving and some just getting home from work. Water pressure good, power good, site was not level due to cracked concrete. All back in sites with a lot of extra vehicles sitting around. This is like a mobile home park but with all RV's. Children abound and some trailers have a lot of toys sitting around and under the trailers. If you cannot find anywhere else, a one night stay would be OK but be looking for a better RV park. I would not stay here again. Would be better off dry camping. - Jay O

Great place to stay! We enjoyed the people and the park very much! We will be back. - happy campers2
Oct 2010 - $25.00
The sites have concrete pads but they are busted up a little. Kind of hard to level the RV. There was a lot of standing water and muddy behind my RV site. It was cold but I can see that if it where warmer, mosquito's would be a problem. Overall not too bad. Would stay here again. - JayOTR

This park is mostly long term oil field workers and a few retired folks. We are retired and planed on staying here for a year. The park is fairly quiet being in a residential area and most of the guys are gone during the day. Maintenance of the park is lacking, the pool is not great, needs work and it's not open unless you can find one of the owners and get a key. They don't mow very often so the weeds get tall. All in all, if you need a place to park for work it's ok for that. The rates just went up and the quality of the park went down, so did the WiFi. You can't get your mail on time unless the office/store is open which is spotty. It's too bad, this could be a great park if they change a few things. - Auto Namus
May 2015 - $15.00
Picked this park for the pool. This park was more expensive then others in the area, but we wanted pool access. Pool is never open, when you do catch a day that the "pool key gods" will let you have the key, the pool is dirty. Their excuse for not opening is because it needs to be cleaned, then why is it still dirty the couple days out of the month it is open? Also the man that runs the place is RUDE about anything besides taking your money. He's very nice when money is exchanged. Stayed 3 months and glad to be leaving! Also had animals running loose all the time. - Jay Dauzat
Feb 2011 - $33.00
This park has been here for ten years, according to the owner. It needs some TLC. The concrete slabs are laden with gravel which could easily be swept up. The restrooms, showers and laundry room smell musty, due probably to a lack of ventilation. It's quiet here, though and easy to find. Owner is friendly. I got a 10% discount for cash. The small store's inventory is not kept up, although a few items are available. Low rating is due to the poor restrooms, etc. - Red Wolf Deux

This is a very basic park. It has the necessary facilities, but they are minimal and "get by" quality. They were supposed to have WiFi, but couldn't get it to work - saw the signals. They are supposed to have satellite cable, but we just used our antenna, so don't know if it works or not. Lots of permanents here with not much to offer vacation campers.
The staff was friendly and helpful, so if the rest of the park were that good, it would be OK.
We stayed here 4 nights only because the park we normally stay at off 61st Street in Galveston was flooded due to rains and high winds. We were gone all day and only came back to sleep at night. It seems to be a safe place to stay, and fairly quiet.
We would not stay here again unless we were in a similar situation again. I think it is overpriced for what they have to offer. - luketx
Jun 2007 - $35.00
We stayed one night, arriving about 10 p.m. No one was at the office so we checked for a 50 amp site and began to back in. A woman appeared, looked over our coach and said the rate was $35 per night. The park was not great and my husband wanted not to stay; but I said, "It's late...let's just go ahead and spend the night." We did. Next morning, as we pulled away we checked our Woodall's book and discovered the listed rate was $19! - PrettiPam

I stayed in this park for two months from the end of December to the end of February, 2017. The park is 75% long term residents. The rates shown on their website only lists monthly rates. The people are very friendly, if somewhat loud at night sometimes. Manager of park is a great person, helpful and caring. Spaces are very cramped mostly. The TT next to me had slides and as a result, I could not open my awning without it being up against (literally) the side of the TT. Has concrete strips for RV parking, conrete pad for parking next to RV and small concrete pad at back of parking spot for outdoor living. This spot is up against the utilities for the unit next door. My small Honda had 18" clearance on either side from my MH and the TT next door. Road through park is too narrow for two cars to pass. Trash is a dumpster by from entrance. It is convenient to Hwy and some local shops, lots of trees and shade, fishing spot in river bend in end of park with large grassy area. Would stay here again, but only for a couple of nights, not long tern. - lankylin

We enjoyed our stay very much and the park manager was exceptional! Very knowledgeable and helpful. My only complaint was the mosquitoes. - Bobbie43
Dec 2016 - $23.00
Level concrete sites. Easy on and off to interstate. Easy to ride bicycle. Laundry was good. Exercise room was unusable. Did not use showers because they were very dirty. Showers needed large improvement. No dog park but lots of grass to walk dog. Campground is part of RV sales and new campers are parked in empty sites. - Fulltimersrv
Jun 2016 - $30.00
Ok considering this is not a destination location (in my opinion) and more of a stop over area it was more then adequate. We made a reservation for two spots as had travel companions. Called two days prior to make reservations. We advised of a late arrival but they said they could not guarantee someone would not take our spot. They indicated many ppl come in throughout the night and will take a spot if available. In any case we gave it a shot. Arrived at night but only one spot reserved. Luckily they listed other open spots and we found another for our companion. Site we spacious put not table, fire pit, etc. All spots all pull thru that I could tell. I would of rated 8 but knocked down due to reservation mixup and they are really first come first serve as someone can take your spot during late arrival if they are selfish. Trash bins were also overflowing but maybe it was a trash day. All in all good stopover spot with good pricing and adequate sites. Bathroom/showers were clean. - QFamCA

Nice little R.V. park. Lots of trees for shade. Staff very friendly and helpful. - Happy Camper 58
Feb 2015 - $32.00
My advice is to ignore the previous comments as they are several years old. Obviously things have changed drastically! This park is home for oil workers in the area and is absolutely awful. The sites were smaller than advertised (we had difficulty fitting a 30ft RV in the space), no amenities, and quite a lot of garbage and litter. It also was also very muddy even though it had not rained for several days. We didn't even stay. It was bad enough that we decided to go to a truck stop instead of staying even one night. - Colorado Barbara
May 2012 - $30.00
Points lost for no fire ring & picnic table at every site, but otherwise a great little park. A good share of longterm, but very friendly people. Quite the cast of characters, & not in a negative way at all. We really enjoyed our few days there. The layout is very unusual too with campsites arranged around joined cul de sacs. The whole place is neat & tidy. - Veebyes

Nice country park.Long gravel pads with a cement patio. The park is fairly new so the shades are still growing. The owners take exceptionally good care of the park and nice easy going country folk. Will definately stay here again when in the area. - David Evans

Apr 2017 - $25.00
We have been at Tiki Tom's for the past nine and one half months. This is one of the nicest RV parks we have visited in our years of RVing. The groundskeeper seems to work 24/7 to keep the park spic and span. If he sees you on the way to the trash bin, he will take it off your hands and deposit it for you. The office staff has been exceptionally great. They will deliver any of your mail to your RV, if you're home and If not, will leave it for you in "the box" on the porch. The owner was there to help us get set up on our arrival. All said, this has been an excellent experience at TTRVP. The freeway and train noise others have commented about was far outweighed by the nice things the park has to offer. We did not notice the noise when inside our RV, with the AC running. We plan to return in a few months for another stay until we head back up north next year. - Gene Hain
May 2016 - $20.00
We loved this park! Right on the island. Super close to Galveston Island just over the bridge. Nice fishing spot right from their dock. Very nice people that run the park. We stayed there for 7 month last year. We paid $400 a month plus electric. Washers and dryers are FREE!!! - SGTABN82
Dec 2014 - $30.00
This is a gem of a park. It is the cleanest and best run park we have been to. There are many permanent rigs but they must maintain a well-kept site or leave. Two great complementary laundry rooms. Two public decks by the water.
We would definitely stay here again. - Al H

Campground is right on the Dickinson Bayou and offers fishing in both the bayou and two ponds. It is quiet other than campground traffic and neighbors. Sites are decently spaced and utility hook ups were accommodating with adding extra lengths. Laundry room is clean and well priced. Internet is spotty. Experienced an outage and although they were able to bring up one tower, it was in and out at best. - Codys Family
Feb 2017 - $50.00
Price is based on the weekly rate. Sites vary greatly in size and we were in a very nice large site with a big concrete pad and hookups in the right spot for our fifth wheel. We had great views of the bay and were close to the pier. Lots of workers in the park but anyone we met was very friendly. We'd stay here again! - Hihocarp
Jan 2016 - $40.00
This is a trailer park masquerading as a resort. The vast majority of residents are long-term workers at the nearby plants. There are rigs in this park that have been there awhile, overflowing with their associated "stuff" (full-size grills, 8-piece patio sets, back yard gazebos, outdoor bars, cords of firewood, freezers). The park doesn't enforce its own rules regarding what can go in your site, namely, one vehicle and one RV. We were near a site with 2 trucks, a boat, a motorcycle and golf cart surrounding a 5th wheel. This was a common sight. The office staff will tell you that they're always full and it's nearly impossible to get a site for longer than a couple days. They've essentially let themselves become a trailer park. The road into the park is full of potholes. The trees in the residential area that you have to drive through have low-hanging branches, some that our 40' motorhome could not avoid hitting. The palm trees in the park haven't been trimmed in years so during breezy days (which was 3 out of the 4 days we were there) dead palm branches were strewn on the road and sites. We stayed 4 days at a very tight back-in. It was 3 days too long. The sewer opening was covered with weeds when we arrived and one of our neighbors had his golf cart parked on our pad. The palm tree next to us had been pecked to death by the birds and resident parrots (we saw them doing it). On the plus side, the laundry room was clean and it only cost $1 to wash a load. I don't intend to return. - Flippitti

We travel all over for work, and this is by far the best park we have ever stayed at, the owner Valarie is wonderful and takes excellent care of this park and truly cares about the people staying in her park. We have been here for 4 months. - Rooster86
Mar 2018 - $40.00
I love this park! Been to many, we travel for work. The staff is very friendly. The campsites are large, has enough room for picnic tables, gazebo etc. and has laundry facilities and restrooms on site! Can't say enough about this park, our favorite so far!!! - Caramel
Feb 2018 - $40.00
Sites are concrete, mostly back-in with a few pull thru. Our back- in site was a little small for our 42' 5th wheel, we could not stay hooked-up. Sites are fairly level with a patio pad ( no picnic table) and a parking pad. Roads and sites are pretty "tight", especially when everyone is "home" with their vehicles parked. Park floods pretty easily with a good rain. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and quiet. Lots of full time residents. Kind of remote area but stores are a 10-15 minute drive away. - travelswithpuppies
