Nice park; spacious sites, level, utilities smartly laid out. Staff in the office is friendly and efficient. We have stayed here before and will certainly do so again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were just here while passing through, but there are restaurants and gas stations between this park and the Interstate.

Easy check-in and friendly staff. Easy on/off the interstate. Interior roads and sites are gravel and red dirt. Either decent spacing between sites or very close. The sites are not arranged in typical fashion but are angled in many different directions. WII FI either worked or didn't - it would just stop. Directv worked fine in our site. There are trees but none were in bloom when we were there. Verizon was 1x 3 bars so we could text and make calls. Have mixed feelings about this park - I think if they just tidied it up a bit it would be a nice park. It is on the river but not necessarily a pretty section of it. There are quite a few long term RVs that seem to be in one section. They looked neat enough though. There was some traffic noise but it wasn't too bad. Not sure if we would stay here again or not. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times in the past on our trips into Texas. In the last Three years it has declined in appearance it seems the maintenance on the park has become decreased. It is an easy off and on I-10, the interior roads are ok for big rigs. They have some sites with patios with chairs. It is still ok for a stop over or a few nites. We like to eat at Lum's down the street so it always worth an over nite. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Yeah, okay; it's a little run down but for a wintertime overnight stop, this park offers everything you need to take care of business. In the winter the trees are all skeletons-probably very nice and verdant during peak season. Everyone gets an escort to their site and the park host was friendly and accommodating. Roads and sites are hard packed dirt but site #53 was level without augmentation. Our pull-thru had overhead protection, a picnic table on a paver patio, fire ring and a stand-up BBQ. Cable TV was grainy but came with a large selection of channels and, given that we could get zilch over the air, was a whole lot better than nothing! Our Verizon hot spot did NOT work here but the park Wi-Fi was more than adequate for our Internet needs. Utilities were well located and water pressure was strong. Situated along the Llano River, it is quiet, open with access to the river, the stars overhead, some trees and ample space between most camp sites. An old playground is here as well as a fenced in dog area. With propane on premises, laundry and showers available, it appears there is no basic need left unaddressed. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pros. The staff is very friendly. My wife felt very safe in the park and with the surrounding neighborhoods. This park is the perfect stopping place along I 10 going across Texas. The park was clean. Cons. The park is a little run down. You can tell that it needs some TLC and maintenance. We will continue to stay here on our jaunts across Texas. The staff is wonderful and the location can't be beat. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here several times before. It is going downhill. The WiFi was terrible-only worked well the evening we arrived. Site was almost level and I was able to get level. Hookups are fine. We will look for a better option next time we are here. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second stay at this park. Though it is quite acceptable and is the best option when travelling through this region on I-10, I have to agree with others that the upkeep has fallen in quality since our last stay several years ago. It did not help that Junction had received several days of rain before and during our stay. Since the roads and sites are dirt and gravel this made things a little messy. As always the hosts were very friendly during our stay. I will return and do recommend this park for an overnight stay. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Try out Lum's Barbeque just down the road. Since it was a rainy weeknight it was not crowded at all and quite good.

This is still my "go to" park for traveling through the area, but it has gone down a little in the last several years. The sites are getting a little less level and equipment is not getting the attention it should like doors to the electrical service are falling off when you go to open it. The people are always friendly and the bathhouse is kept clean. I like the fact that on some of the sites there are two options for sewer hook-up. Close to I-10 but quietly situated next to the Llano River. Roads were gravel/dirt but wide and easy to nav. Pad also gravel/dirt with a small concrete pad for your tires. Good spacing with some trees for shade. Staff was very friendly and took us to our site. VzW at 3 bars and secure WiFi very good. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 3 nights en route to San Antonio. Absolutely nothing to do in the area, but Ingram is less than an hour's drive. Nice level spacious site, great Wifi, cable, friendly staff, and it was nice being on the river. I would stay here again if passing thru. Tips for other Campers:

Drive to Ingram and see Stonehenge II, eat right there at the Hill Country Arts Foundation (Encore), and shop at the Ingram Loop. If you have time, the Y.O. Ranch in Mountain Home offers tours of their property ($$) so you can see all their exotic animals.

The park is an old KOA located on the banks of the Llano River in Junction, TX. The park is hard to find as there is no sign at the entrance. The person on duty was helpful and led us to our site. The interior roads and sites are packed dirt. Our site was large and level. There was a covered patio area that was pave with cement pavers. There were two chairs and a picnic table with a fire pit next to the patio. All in all, very pleasant. The Wi-Fi was adequate, however, the park or the provider is censoring what you can connect to. Verizon cell showed zero bars. We will probably not stay again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great staff, WiFi, cable T.V. and full hook-up site. The RV park is right on the Llano river. Two adirondack chairs under a canopy at each site. It is less then a mile from I-10, so easy access without any highway noise. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had returned to this RV park after a breakdown on I-10. Juan's Tire Service did a first rate job, as did Roy's Garage; their work gave us the confidence to drive the 900 miles home.

I stayed as a workcamper. This is an old KOA. Most sites are adequate and offer decent space between sites for lounging outside your RV. You have access to a large rocky beach area on the Llano river. This is an overnight or short respite park since there is absolutely nothing going on in Junction, Texas. Nice park. Located on the river making the atmosphere quiet and serene. Be careful when walking pets along the river. There are hundreds of sticker balls the size of grapes laying on the rocky beach. I would stay here again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
